Lin is kind-hearted and is never easily angry. She has been with the girls and cared for them throughout their childhood. She is always there to lend a hand when someone needs help. Sadly, Lin suffers from a strange heart problem which Miao and Mei Ling believes she doesn't have much time left. She looks perfectly normal, but from time to time, she will have heart attacks. The doctors have found no cause of this and they fail to find a cure. But when Kai comes to Tokyo to live with the girls, Lin is excited and happy. Strangely enough, Lin becomes stronger and the chances of her heart attacks have decreased. Lin has been deeply in love with Kai since the day they met. She hides her emotions because she is afraid what Kai may think and the fact that she might not be able to live long enough to be with Kai in her later years. Her powers of healing the wounded is powerful enough to bring the dead back. The downfall of this power is that it drains a part of Lins life before she can restore it within days. The group forbids her using this power but she feels useless if she can't do anything.
