Something to realize before we get started is that a poor diet and/or allergies to the food they are eating can cause health problems and tempermanet or aggression issues. The old saying "garbage in = garbage out" is true.
The debate of the century is "natural" diets vs commercial diets. A commercial diet is any diet that has been processed and comes in a can or bag as kibble.
A natural diet is raw meats, organs, steamed, processed veggies, etc. just like they would eat in the wild.
For commercial diets one must realize that all the commercial says and the front of the bag say or not true. You need to learn how to read the ingredients list on the bag. Just because it says it's 20% protien does not mean that is digestable protien. Most commercial diets also have a lot of grains in them, which is known to cause allergies. When is the last time you saw a dog raid a corn field?

Natural diets are what the animal would eat in the wild. It's hard for many to see their precious pet chasing down prey and killing it for dinner. Dogs are carnaivores and need meat in thier diet, that's what makes them strong and healthy. This type of diet does take more effort for the owner, but we fully believe in it.
