| HOTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS All guests should make a thorough check of their room when checking in. You will be expected to complete a room occupancy form upon check-in, which indicates that you are aware of the hotels rules and agree to honor and respect them. Please report any damages to the show coordinator or designated show committee member as well as the hotel front desk. Make sure this is done so that you are not held responsible for any pre-excisting damages! This is for your protection as well as for that of the clubs and the hotel. The holiday inn and the American Chinese Crested Club, Inc show committee will investigate and approve each room before the guest checks out. The hotel housekeeping staff will inspect all rooms daily & have been instructed to report any problems to the show chairman or coordinators. You will be held 100% financially responsible for anhy room damges, and can be asked to vacate at the hotels discression. We have an excellent reputation with the hotels for care of their facilities - help us maintain that reputation. Each individual will be responsible for any damages (rooms, public areas, lawn, or lanscapping) caused by dogs. Should there be a problem the ACCC show committee will help the holiday inn locate those individuals responsible for the damages. 1) All dogs MUST be crated when owners are not in attendance - NO EXCEPTIONS!!! 2) Plastic sheeting must be placed under each crate and under any ex pen in the guest rooms. Sheeting, boxes of packing paper, and masking tape will be made available for sale but, we are requesting that reservations are made in order to determine needed inventory 3) Do NOT use ANY hotel towels of grooming. Owners/Exhibitors should bring their own toweling for bathing dogs. A daily inventory for missing or damaged towels will be taken. Any necessart charge will be applied to the guests. Also, individuals will be responsible for bringing their own drying towels for their pets. Hotel towels are only to be used on humans **We will have some towels available for your use if you have forgotten your own grooming towels. 4) Bathing and/or grooming of dogs in the guest rooms will be allowed only when a tub drain screen is utilized (Individuals are to bring thier own tub drain screens - hotel will not provide). 5) At all times, please try and carry your dogs through the hallways to avaoid any "accidents. Ex pens may be placed in designated areas. All ex pens, outside, will have to be tagged with the owner/exhibitors name and what room number. Tags will be given to you at the time of check-in. Remember, you are responsible for cleaning the area in and around your ex pens. Out door "Pet Area" needs to be designated and monitored by ACCC committee (Owners need to pick up after their own dogs) All exhibitors are expected to carry baggies & pick up after their dogs when walking on a leash. 6) Please remember that this hotel will have non-dog guests. Their comforts and rights must be respected for the benifit of the hotel and our clubs. Excessively barking dogs in or out of rooms will not be tolerated. Any dog that continues to bark must be quieted by the owner, or it will be removed to anotherlocation by the show committee if the owner cannot be found. This will be enforced!! Please, no dogs outside in ex pens before 6 AM or after 11 PM. There will be a statement you will sign relinquishing any and all liability, for the dogs, to the ACCC , ACCC board of directors, and members of the show committee (as they are appointed) if they should have to take any of these measures. 7) There will be dignated and marked grooming area. Space is limited in the grooming area. Please be courteous and set up within the marked areas to help us better utilize the space available. 8) Only those motorhomes that have previously made reservations will be allowed to park on the hotel grounds. Hotel security will enforce this. Violators will be asked to leave the property. Please also utilize good housekeeping practices in the motorhome areas by using matting and cedar/wood chips under the matting to avoid excessive odors in and around ex pens 9) Please note: As per AKC Disipline Guidelines, IV, i.e. DISREGARD OF PUBLISHED CLUB RULES," the AKC considers the host hotel and any motorhomes to be paft of the show site, and , therefore, any viloations of good and reasonable dog show conduct can be brought before a bench committee. The guidelines shown above will be considered "published show rules." Trangressions cannot be tolerated. So, please clean up after your dog(s) and keep them quiet!! |
