Allan's Thoughts 10/22/06

1. Today was the Haunted House. I had the best job: front door guy. As you can tell, I was the worker who got there last. I really enjoyed the front door job. I met all these new kids. Some girl wouldn't tell me her name then she kicked me. A few kids went through the haunted house 5 times. I like telling the kids that the Haunted House is really scary, and they all tell me that it's not scary. A few of the real young 1st graders seem pretty scared. Also, a lot of kids were getting hit by volleyballs in the face just standing in line to get into the haunted house. Cal also told me that a kid complained he got hit in the face while in the haunted house. I also noticed that Andrew walked out of the haunted house complaining he was abused, but I'm pretty sure that was intentional.

2. CBC Olympics Day II took place. I did not attend the first two events, but I stayed for the Shuttle Run and Sudoku Challenge. The dinner has been postponed for another date. There is already plans for the next olympics, which will likely be in the winter and involve teams. I will try and get participant ribbons later for all but eBay sells them in bulk. I think having 300 ribbons is a bit excessive.
