Allan's Thoughts 10/21



1. Today was the Haunted House. I volunteered last year and had fun as

the doorman. I met a lot of kids too, some of which I still talk to

today. This year, I was given the job of making sure the curtain divider

doesn't fall, and to shine the flashlight through the rat hole as kids

crawl through so they don't bump their heads. I only got yelled at

twice: once for leaving my station to put my cookie dough into the freezer,

and once for not leaving my station to show the kids out. So...paradox.



2. My 3 pound cookie dough courtesy of Eva finally came. I'm pretty

excited, as I hope this will last me a very long time. It says it can make

48 cookies, and has a freezer life of 1 year.



3. Standing around in the haunted house, you hear a lot of kids

laughing and screaming. Best quote this year from a kid: "Who am I touching?!"
