Allan's Thoughts for 2/4

1. If you didn't notice last week, I was absent from church. After the 13 mile half marathon, my back was not feeling too well when I woke up last Sunday and I couldn't move too good. Justin might be bringing sexy back, but I was bringing a sore back last week. I felt much better today.

2. I played handball and ping pong with Brenda after church. She beat me in both.

3. I did not attend the couple's fellowship, I mean VaLEMtine's Luncheon. Instead, I was upstairs in Chinese school studying for a couple of hours. I walked over to Safeway to grab some lunch. There is a Chinese man over at the Deli that is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I remembered him from summer. Today, I bought a corndog and 3 chicken wings. He called me "Sir" when he asked for my order. When people call me "Sir", they are automatically on my Good List. I then asked him how much a chicken strip would be, and he picked one up and handed it to me. I don't know if he understood the question or not, but he just gave it to me. To top it off, he put price labels on both sides of the bag, one for my corndog and one for my 3 wings. The lady at the counter only scanned one side, so I essentially got a meal at half price today.

4. The Super Bowl party was good. There was a lot of food and people. I thought it was very successful. And to top it off, the Colts won.
