Allan's Thoughts 12/10

1. The weather was very good today considering it is December. I noticed the Christmas lights around the church, which makes things a lot more lively. I arrived on time this week to check all the teachers and make sure they are in their rooms. I always poke my head in rooms and am offered the opportunity to teach Chinese School by people, but I always refuse. I also walked in on Fae's class today and disrupted things as I passed by and into the orchestra room. I have no regrets.

2. I sat next to Aaron today in orchestra. I had the chance to get to know him at this year's Math Camp, which was very cool. I am glad I got rejected (like someone we know) for the Target Internship during the summer. Instead, I got to hang out with cool people at Math Camp, like Aaron.

3. I forgot to mention that Jackie gave me a dirty look as I entered the church today. I also gave Martin two books from the Berkeley library. They looked really boring. Please remind me to renew them online over the Christmas break. I'd hate to have my diploma status in jeopordy over boring books.

4. Today I sat next to Pat during the message. He pointed out to me that he is bringing a dish to the Christmas Dinner, only the dish is TBD. The suspense makes me even hungrier.

5. Vince talked about the San Francisco man today who lost his life. It is pretty tragic. I read he walked 16 miles before finally dying. The next CBC Olympics has a 26 mile event, where you are dropped 26 miles from church and you have to get home by walking/running. I was going to try it, but now I'm pretty scared.

6. On a side note, Peony gave me my Wii controller back last week. I forgot to mention that. I decided to play Wii Sports this weekend and I ended up getting beat in the boxing game about 6 straight times, thus losing my Professional ranking. I am now suspicious that she gave me back a faulty controller. I have been Wii bowling though, and I'm pretty good now. Peony challenged me, but I'm positive I can take her. I've even got that little leg kick at the end that all the professional bowlers do.

Will return after a week of finals.
