Born on Easter of 2002, Tidbit is a very special chinchilla. He's a firecracker when he thinks he can escape, but he can be soooooooo affectionate it makes your heart skip a beat. Tid likes to groom our ears and eyebrows, making us squeal with delight! He loves everyone in the family but everyone calls him a "one woman chin" because of the bond he and I share. Tidbit was neutered in October of 2002 so that he could happily live with a female chinchilla we rescued.There were many complications, and three surgeries were necessary, but Tidbit pulled through and is loving life just as much as before.In summer of 2003, Tidbit won 3rd place in the online Chinchilla Club contest. I'm very honored that I have a prize-winning chinchilla. His favorite pastimes are running on the wheel and escaping. He has been known to jump four feet in the air to escape from his playroom downstairs.. Tidbit is the love of my life. |
