Legend of Mana

It has been a long time since Square making Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana in the United States) series.  Lengend of Mana, a side story of Seiken Densetsu, is very colorful and well designed.  However, the game plot and game play is unique from the previous Seiken Densetsu series.  In the game, you are to help people from places to places.  You will also have other sub-characters to help you fight against enemies. These sub-characters can be either controlled by second player or the computer.  Beside the sub-characters, you also have either a pet or a robot as your 3rd character, but they are not controllable by players.  Unlike pervious versions where you can equip varies types of weapons in the battle , Legend of Mana only allow you to use one weapon at a time.  Spells is another story, as the main character, you do not have spells.  You have to make Music tools to produce spells.  Weapon and Armor upgrade is still available in the game.  Famitsu gave it a score of 31/40 and I think it's a great game too if it can be more less complex on the weapon system.
