Shuang Huang Lian
is unique preparation. It combines in itself simultaneously antibacterial
activity, antiviral action and immunostimulated effect. Being antibiotic of
wide spectrum action, Shuang Huang Lian is
active toward many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including
white staphylococcus, hemolytic streptococcus, colon bacillus, Salmonella,
Proteus, deformation bacillus, a positive stick of nitrate, an aerogenic stick,
blue pas bacillus, dysenteric Flexner's stick, etc. (do not affect pathogenous
fungi). Antiviral action of the Shuang Huang Lian
preparation applies to the virus of parotitis, tick-borne encephalitis,
herpetic infection, and also to the group of viruses that cause acute
respiratory viral infections, including all types of grippes. Interesting
feature of Shuang Huang Lian is its
selective action toward pathogen microorganisms: it increases sensibility of
pathogen microflora to synthetic antibiotics. Taking of the preparation
doesn't disturb mobile equilibrium of intestine's microflora, doesn't cause
dysbacteriosis.
Composition
Japanese honeysuckle (Flos Lonicīrae), weeping
forsythia (Fructus Forsythiae), Baical skullcap (Radix Scutellariae), etc.
Indications for use
Inflammatory diseases, caused by pathogenic
organisms sensitive to them. Shuang
Huang Lian is non-toxic, has no side effects and age restrictions,
and that's why is actively used for the prophylaxis of various pathological
states ARVI, grippe, in the incubation period of tick-borne encephalitis
and other infectious diseases. After the Shuang Huang
Lian course asthenia syndrome is not observed, that is
characteristic for reconvalescents.
Method of use and dosage
Take per oral on an empty stomach 40 minutes
prior to meal or in 2 hours after meal. Daily doses for adults vary from 10 ml
(1 bottle) up to 60 ml (6 bottles) depending on the severity of condition.
Multiplicity of taking 3-6 times per day. Children's dosage is calculated
according to the weight. Shuang Huang Lian is used locally at purulent skin
diseases, infected wounds, conjunctivitis, and rhinitis.
