Salim Tunis Jaffer Cake
You may be wondering why there is a picture of a locust on this page under Salim's name. Well wonder no more. All shall be explained. Everything from Salim's LEDC to the locust swarms that annually threaten his people to his swanky flat in London.
Salim is currently living in the High Street Kensington area of London. He lives in a swanky flat and has too much money for his own good. He's up to date with his gadgets and technology and this is evident if you have ever visited his home. He's got a nice PC, HiFi system, Mini-Disc Player, TV, Fax/Photocopy/Printer/Scanner thingie all rolled into one, he is quite litteraly the Dixons/Electric City/Currys/Comet/Patel's Electrics/... of the erm.... I duno. He's just got a lot of fancy hi tech stuff. I mean, hes even got an air purifier system in his room godamnit! One reason for him having this in his room may have something to do with his catching EBV (Epstein Barr Virus), damnit, even his virus sounds rich n swanky. Unfortunately, Salim missed out on the opportunity to do his GCSEs coz he pulled the sickie of the century. He basically missed a whole year of school to help him get over his disease. During this year he was so sick that he managed to become a complete and utter beast at the N64 game Goldeneye, hmm.... Now, a year or so on, his little trick that he played on the skool is still paying off as he gets extra time in his exams.
Life wasn't always so swanky for salim tho. The first clue of this was presented to you before: his dirty virus. I don't think he knows where he caught this virus, BUT I BELIEVE THAT I DO. The truth of the matter is that Salim is Tunisian. In Tunisia a dirty situation has been building up for many years now. Yes, as im sure you have guessed by now, the problem is the swarms of locusts in Tunisia. As we all know, in the LEDC of Tunisia, the local people are heavily dependant upon their annual yields of wheat and maize. Unfortunately, the country is regularly infested with millions of millions of locusts which eat eaverything in their paths. This includes all the crops, the shanty huts made of dried grass leaves and zebu dung and on occasions, even farmers have been known to perish due to the new breed of killer locusts which have an appetite for human blood. Salim was one of the lucky ones. He and his family were fortunate enough to escape this incessant onslaught. By leaving his country, Salim had escaped not only the killer swarms of locusts but also the daily droughts.
Other families however are not so lucky. You can help them by checking out the
