Kata Eitchi
Kata Eitchi
Master Kashubi created Kata Eitchi by taking the top form in Won Hop Loong Chuan, Ei Loong Chuan, replacing the Chinese gung-fu basics with Okinawan karate basics, adding elements of a Chinese gung-fu system known as Iron Monk. The resulting form is a very fluid yet powerfull kata with karate basics and gung-fu timing. Kata Eitchi was one of Master Kashubi's contribution to Won Hop Loong Chuan.
Kata Eitchi consists of seven individual forms, which when mastered are performed consecutively as Kata Eitchi. The first three forms in the series are dominantly defensive, the fourth teaches how to turn a   defensive position into an offensive one, and the last three are dominantly offensive.
The seven forms are:
Kata Itchi
Kata Ni
Kata Shodan
Kata Nidan
Kata Sandan
Kata Yondan
Kata Godan
