Thanks so much to everyone for all the prayers. What an amazing thing this is. It is 6:30am, and surprisingly we both had a very good night's sleep and we both seem to be doing ok! We have only been up for a few minutes though...
In about 3 and half hours we will be able to hold our precious girl! What will we notice first? How we will react to her and her to us? What will we see in those gorgeous brown eyes? Will she know that we have come half way around the world to tie the end of our red thread to hers? Will she know how much we have loved her these many months? Will she know that we
are MOMMY and DADDY? Only time will tell!
Today is also a day of reflection on the woman who made such an unselfish choice; Shun-Shun's birth mother. We have prayed that she will know in her heart that her precious girl will be loved unendingly, protected with all the strength we have, and that she will grow up with the most amazing families and the best friends in the world! We ask that you add Shun-Shun's mother to your prayers tonight!
I need to run, Roger just got out of the shower and I guess that means that I should get in. It has rained so much here we many never need a shower again! :-)
I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. Don't wait up to late as we may be very busy playing with rubber ducks and stacking cups! Just joking Grandmas! I will try my best to get at least one picture to you!
