Part 88- Relaxation

Three extra days in London were spent for Jia and his business heads. For three extra days, Jia worked, planned, went over paperwork, routes, met new people, shook hands, drank and smoked. For three days, Furukawa, Akio, Aya, Gabriel, Toshimasa and Xiao Tien remained busy, going over London law, balancing books, checking as far as they could into backgrounds and walking through casinos, making sure they were being operated correctly and meeting the boxers of each promotion. Gin, The Champ's trainer and promoter was brought back in by Taylor. The Englishman was glad to work for Taylor, knowing Taylor was a lot more fit to run a business like this. Also, Taylor had a lot of power behind him, being Jia. So Gin didn't mind doing Taylor favors, boxing wise. In fact a lot of The Champ's boxing matches were all held in Taylor's casino so people watched the blood sport and played craps, blackjack and drank while they waited for results. And for those three days, I had Toki for myself. I still found it awkward and strange that in some sense, Jia had agreed to Toki's inane plan of having it both ways. I wasn't doing any better by condoning Toki's madness, but I started to find it hard to say no to him. Spending nights with him, having him sleep beside me until the next day without him having to sneak out of my bed to get dressed before he went back home was so different. We spent a lot of those nights actually talking. It was something new for a change. I sat on top of him, my hair falling over my shoulders as he twisted his fingers of his right hand in it, his left hand rested on my thigh. He looked at me sometimes, but most of the time, he was lost in the sensation of my hair. That night, he sat up a little, the pillows from behind him supporting him as he said,

"What were you like when you were little?"

"What a random question."

"I was jus thinkin about you bein little now. Cuz you don't look that grown. Where you were any different then?"

I shook my head as I said,

"Not really. I was a serious child."

"Damn you aint have no childhood?"

"Not really."

"Strict parents?"

"Yes. My father is a Shinto priest."

He sat a little more as he said,

"You're a Shinto priest's kid?"

"Yes."

"Damn what an ironic twist of fate that you're a yakuza now."

"I know."

"Where'd you grow up?"

"Kamakura."

"Damn you really had the whole religion thing goin on. No wonder you bounced out of there so fast."

I nodded as I then said,

"What about you?"

"I grew up in Tokyo."

"What were your parents like?"

"My mother was okay. It's my old man I had a problem with."

"He was strict?"

"Tried to be. He beat me senseless when I was younger."

"Oh. Sorry."

"Don't be. I fought back when I was fourteen."

I shook my head as I said,

"Figures you would."

He smirked a little as he pulled me down, kissing me slightly as he said,

"Why you even botherin with the Fox?"

"Because it's different."

"What you sayin bein with me is gettin old?"

I shook my head, laughing a little as I said,

"No, I mean it's just different. He's very different from you."

"How?"

"Well for one he speaks with proper sentencing."

He nudged me slightly as I went on.

"He shows he's well educated. He's nice to me. He's also patient."

"I ain't educated. But I'm more then nice to you."

"I know you are. Your patience also surpasses his. You waited years for me. He got angry after a few months."

"Thas true."

"And you are smart. You just like to act like an idiot that thinks with his dick."

He laughed as he said,

"I guess."

I looked down at for a moment, admiring his throat, then his collar bones and then his chest covered in a wife beater. I looked over at his arms, seeing his tattoo there, rebelling ring of black fire that didn't connect all the way, flames going in each direction. I felt his hand on my face as I turned my attention back to him and said,

"What?"

"I don't know. Your mind wandered not mine."

"I was just looking at your arm."

He glanced over at it, turning it slightly as he said,

"What about it?"

"Nothing. Just looking."

He sat up all the way, putting his arms around me, pulling me closer until I was on his lap, my knees on each side of him as he leaned forward, putting me on my back as he looked down at me. His hand swept over my face, pulling my hair out of the way as he said,

"Wish this could last longer. I like seein you this way."

"I like having you to myself for a little while."

He smiled slightly but it seemed sad. I leaned up slightly, kissing him as he kissed back.

On the last night, Jia was back in his hotel room but he was exhausted. Nonetheless, he called us back to his room where he said,

"Xiao Tien, Totchi...I wanna thank you both for helping me out for all this."

The owners of the game nodded as Toshimasa said,

"It was no problem."

Jia nodded, laying on his side, still dressed in his suit, his coat barely came off him as it laid at the foot of his bed. He then yawned slightly and said,

"I guess we're done for now. Seiryo, Kohei and Junzo can help Taylor out the rest of his way. This business should take off rather well. It'll be like Hong Kong and New York...and Tokyo. All that shit."

Gabriel nodded, tucking back his black hair as he said,

"Okay, come on everyone, Jia's exhausted. Let him rest."

Before we all left, Akio said,

"Jia, when we heading back to Tokyo?"

"Tomorrow evening."

Tsubasa waved to Jia as he left with the rest of us, Toki staying behind as Gabriel closed the door. Tsubasa went back to his room, Xiao Tien and Toshimasa doing the same. Aya and Akio stayed in the hall way for a moment before opting to get some dinner and Kazuki looked at me. The fox smiled slightly as he said,

"You hungry?"

I nodded as we both went to eat as well.

The next night, we returned back to Tokyo. I was glad to go home again, although I didn't find myself as restless and tired as I had been before. I fell asleep on the plane, my head on Kazuki's shoulder since he sat beside me this time. When we arrived back in Tokyo, we gathered our luggage, hailed cabs and parted ways. I wouldn't see my associates or Kazuki for another day. When I woke up the following morning, I sat up, feeling dazed from entirely too much sleep. I got out of bed, showered and dressed. Once done, I went to check in with Tai. I got to his office a little while later, a cup of coffee in hand as I knocked on his door. He invited me in as I said,

"Anything going on for today?"

He nodded, tucking some papers into a folder as he said,

"Yes actually. Later on this afternoon, I believe Niikura is coming into Tokyo."

"Oh? What for?"

"He has business with Jia. Any money being made in Tokyo has to get spread out over Jia's empire. It's why he's so successful a keeping everything going at once. Niikura will have to see how his own property can manage the extra income and then see if he could match it. It'll be the same for the rest of Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong and Bangkok. It's also why Jia is so wealthy."

I nodded as Tai then said,

"What are you doing up so early?"

"I usually wake up around this time."

He nodded, signing something as he said,

"Adjust your collar."

I did as he said as I said,

"Why?"

"You have a visible kiss mark."

"Oh..."

I didn't even realize I had any. I then said,

"Is it dark?"

"No, it's very faint. But you can see it."

I nodded, letting my hair fall over my shoulder to cover it. I then said,

"What time will Niikura be here?"

"Around four or so. He called around seven today to let me know he was going to stop in."

I nodded as I said,

"Is Jia going or is someone else going to pick him up?"

"I'm not sure. Jia will let us know."

I nodded as I stuck around a while longer. Gabriel came in after about an hour, his longer hair falling around his face, the scars now clearly evident on his skin since Jun removed the stitches. He didn't seem to mind them at all anymore. Little by little everyone started coming in, doing checks, working like they had to, Aya stopped in Tai's office when he arrived, his hand on the handle of the door his caramel bangs framing his perfect face, long lashes touching his cheek as he blinked and said,

"I leave for work, come back, rest and promptly go back to work."

Gabriel turned and looked at him as he said,

"And still you look as lovely as you always have."

Aya smiled slightly as he said,

"Thank you."

He walked into Tai's office and picked up some folders and said,

"So what's with London?"

"It's booming."

"Seiryo is so damn ruthless when it comes to business. He's very cut throat."

Gabriel nodded as Tai said,

"A good business man usually is."

"He's got the muscle to back him too."

"Oh?"

"Yeah his brother Kohei. Junzo seems to be his lawyer. He has such an innocent face."

Tai nodded as he said,

"So do you three."

Aya smiled again as he said,

"No, I'm just pretty. Gabriel and Mikkie have those innocent looking faces."

Gabriel shook his head as I said,

"I look more dead then innocent."

Aya laughed slightly as he said,

"That's true."

Early afternoon, Jo came in, yawning, twisting up his hair into a decent knot, ends and bangs falling all over the place. He knocked on Tai's door as he said,

"Hey...look at all the people."

Aya smiled as he said,

"Hi Jo."

"Hey Pretty Aya."

He walked over to Aya, kissing his cheek so it echoed a younger Aoki. Jo smiled, licking his lips afterwards as Tai said,

"I'm surprised to see you here so early Jo."

"Oh I got woken up by my phone. I figured if I didn't get up at this hour, I wouldn't get up at all."

He sat down in the empty chair in front of Tai's desk as he took out a pack of cigarettes and fished one out and the brought it to his mouth. He paused to find his lighter as Tai said,

"Oh, Niikura is coming in this afternoon. Jo would you pick him up?"

Jo nodded, finding his lighter as he flipped it open with a flick of his wrist and then said,

"Sure. What time?"

"Around four."

"I'll do it. Mikkie you wanna come with me?"

I nodded as I said,

"Sure."

We stayed put for the rest of the afternoon until three thirty. That's when Jo found me and we went on our way to pick up Niikura. Jo got in the car which was slowly starting to become his and only his since he's the one that spent the most time in it and working on it as he got his seat belt on and pulled down the visor in front of him, he searched the CDs that were in a case there as he finally found one he was looking for as he started the car and then flipped the visor back up as he put the CD in the player and then pulled out. Some music started as he drove, the bass shaking the car each time we stopped. It was Japanese, I recognized that much as I said,

"What is this?"

"Get Out of The Shell by L'arc~en~ciel." He said.

"Oh."

"Ai'iro recommended them to me a while back. I like them."

"You have hardly grown up."

He laughed slightly as he kept driving. Almost twenty minutes later, we got to Tokyo's Central station as he parked the car and we got out. We checked some of the times as we saw there was three possible tracks a train from Kyoto could come on. I called Tai as he apologized for not telling us which track he would coming on. Once Tai told us, we went to meet Niikura. After about fifteen minutes, as the train stopped and people began getting off, we saw Niikura, his full length black trench coat on, buttoned in the front as his brownish, red hair was still spied around his head, his bangs falling over one side of his face, perfectly spiked out like the rest of his hair. Masao followed up behind him, the young innocent looking boy that Toki had taken interest in just because of how he looked. Jo and I walked over Niikura as he said,

"Konichiwa."

He bowed his head slightly as Jo and I did the same. Jo then said,

"How was your trip?"

"Tiring. But it's okay.. I just woke up too early."

Jo nodded as he greeted Masao afterwards. The young man bowed his head in respect as we then took them to Jia's building.

Jia didn't come in for another hour. During that time, Akio, Jo, Aoki, Aya, Toki and myself all stayed with Niikura and Masao. Akio then said,

"How do you do your hair like that?"

Niikura laughed a little as he tugged the end of his bangs and said,

"A lot of hairspray, gel, hair glue and patience."

Akio shook his head as Jo said,

"Practice made it easier though huh?"

"Yes. That and every now and then I get some help for the back."

They laughed a little as Masao still flustered when he saw Toki smirking at him. Niikura probably knew but didn't seem to mind all that much. Jia finally came in as he said,

"I apologize for being late. I had to pick up two very important things."

Behind him came in Xiao Tien and Toshimasa. Niikura stood up as he said,

"Very important indeed."

He walked over to Xiao Tien, taking his hand as the China Doll smiled his seductive smile and walked with him as Toshimasa sighed and walked with Jia as Jia said,

"Okay...so..I need to have this meeting with Niikura and the Owners of the Game. So...I'll contact everyone later."

We nodded as Jia headed up to his office with his business heads, the Owners of the Game and Niikura. The rest of us were left to our own devices.
