It didn't take much to find Andou after Jia gave the order. That night, Aoki and myself went to get him in. I've had my close encounter with him so I knew what he looked like best. Lower heads had let us know that he was seen in the Kabuki-Cho with Eve, going to do some clubbing. Aoki and I wasted no time pouring into a club called Club Asia. We got in, the bouncer not wanting to hold us back, mostly because of Aoki and the look he's capable of even behind sunglasses. We walked inside and through the crowd, Aoki with his hand in his pocket, the other one holding his cigarette as I walked beside him, both my hands in my pockets. We went towards the back where we entered a private room, watching as Andou was now a different person. He was in a black suit, his hair still styled as it was before, uneven in the back, flared out from a lot of gel near one of his eyes, a dark red color, black laced through it. His eyes were coated with heavy black eye make up, his wife on his side as they both had a drink. Eve had her hair out, straight, falling past her shoulders as she wore a black fitted dress, her wrist holding a thin tennis bracelet, her rock of a wedding ring on the other hand as she sat beside Andou. Two guards stood by Andou's side, free lance yakuza by the looks of it and women were all over the place, some with each other, some with other young boys there. Andou kept his hands to himself, touching Eve every now and then. Aoki and I went inside the room as their guards got up. Aoki looked at him and as he exhaled his smoke, raised his gun and made it click under the guards chin. Andou and Eve looked at us as I looked at them and said,

"Andou, Jia would like a word with you."

Andou smiled slightly as he exhaled the smoke from his mouth as he said,

"And why would Jia want to see me? I didn't do anything."

"You don't question when Jia wants to see you, you just come."

He laughed as he rubbed his cigarette out and said,

"No, I wouldn't dare question the oyabun of the 36 Moons."

He kissed Eve on the cheek as Aoki said,

"Call off your dog."

Andou looked at the free lance yakuza under Aoki's gun, now shaking with fear as Andou laughed and said,

"Kill him if you want. He obviously can't protect me. He's of no use."

Aoki shot him without hesitation as the people there gasped and flinched back. Andou turned to his wife as he said,

"Go home without me. I'll be back soon."

Eve got up as she said,

"Hell no. Hold up. Why does Jia wanna see Daisetsu now?"

"No reason. Just relax." Said Aoki.

"Don't tell me to relax!"

"Hey, you wanna calm down? Jia wants to speak to him, not kill him. If he wanted him dead, he would have been already." I said.

Eve glared at me as she said,

"I'm comin too."

"Damnit..." Said Aoki.

Andou stroked Eve's cheek as he said,

"Beloved, you don't have to."

"I want to! I don't trust Boss Man as far as I can throw em!"

Aoki looked at me as I said,

"Let's go."

Andou took Eve's hand as they walked in front of us and we lead them out. We took a cab back to Jia's building and then, Aoki sat in the lobby as I escorted them upstairs.

I knocked on the office door as Jia allowed us in. He turned in his chair, smoking as always as he stood up as he saw Andou and Eve.

"Why is she here?"

"She insisted on being here." I said.

Jia shrugged as he said,

"Have a seat."

Andou sat down as Eve stood beside him and then Jia sat down as well. I stood by Jia's desk as Andou said,

"I'm still wondering as to why you wish to speak to me."

"I'm not sure what your scheme is."

"My scheme? My plot? My master plan to what Jia? Overthrow you? Try and conquer Japan all for my own?"

"Something like that."

Andou laughed as he said,

"With what Jia? My own two hands? I'm sure your people searched...they found nothing. I don't have anything here with me to even begin a war. A war that even if I did start, I couldn't win and could, quite possibly kill me and my wife. Why would I do such a stupid thing?"

"You'd be surprised how many others tried."

Eve looked at her husband as Andou then said,

"I haven't done anything. I may be a yakuza myself Jia, but I have little to no power. In fact, I myself am on the run from other yakuza in California. It's why I'm here."

"So what's with the near death of some of my employees?"

Andou's eyes suddenly darkened, the blue-green false eyes shifted, his smile fading from amused to devious. It seemed as if pure evil suddenly sat in that chair. He said,

"I take immense joy in the death of other Jia-sama."

The way he addressed Jia suddenly made me stand on end. I think even Eve saw that as she let her hands slide from the chair as she took a small step to the side. Jia however, was not phased as he said,

"So? You do realized nearly killing two of my employees and trying to kill two more is not going to go by unnoticed."

"Truth be told I didn't even know who I was stabbing, shooting, shoving. I just did it randomly. This one was the only acceptation."

He looked at me as I felt my own glare harden.

"I recognized him from the fire. He had my blade."

Jia nodded as he said,

"You're insane."

Andou laughed as he said,

"Probably."

I saw Jia was amused. He then looked at Eve as I saw Eve was angry. She then said,

"What the fuck you lookin at?"

"Don't talk to me like that Eve. You're likely to get a bullet in your head."

Jia gestured to me as I stood by his desk. Eve crossed her arms as she seemed confident her husband would say something. Andou said nothing for a moment as he then looked at Jia and said,

"So now that your are satisfied with knowing that I'm not here to rule your kingdom, will you leave me?"

"No, I have to do something with you."

"Why? Daisetsu already told you that he didn't do anything." Said Eve.

Jia nodded as he said,

"Yeah but that don't make him a potential danger. I need to do something Andou."

"What?"

Jia thought for a moment as he then said,

"Go back to Cali."

"No! He'll be killed!" Shouted Eve.

"I didn't ask you. You say one more word and I will have you tossed out of this room." Said Jia.

She huffed angrily as Andou said,

"As my wife said, if I do, I'll be killed."

"So you rather stay here and kill all these innocent people and possibly my employees which if any of them do die, you're next."

Andou tugged at the ends of his hair as he said,

"How about New York."

"That's also mine."

"I can stay in Brooklyn. My wife is from there."

"I don't care where she's from. You can't stay in New York."

"I'll be killed if I go back to Cali."

"Then you can stay here and piss me off and then I'll kill you. You pick."

"We shouldn't have to do anything!"

Jia sighed and looked at me as he said,

"Take her outside will you?"

"Fuck you Jia! Fuck you too! You touch me and I'll break your arm!"

I looked at her as I said,

"I'd sooner break yours. Walk."

"Fuck you!"

I grabbed her arm as I applied pressure and she cried out. I dragged her along as I then opened the door and stepped outside with her. I shoved her far enough away outside as I closed the door and leaned against it as I then called Jo upstairs. The whole time she was bitching at me, saying for me to move as she then took off her shoes and started threatening me. I glared at her the whole time, ignoring her as I then hung up with Jo and waited.

"If you don't fucking move out my way....."

I looked at her and said,

"You'll do what?"

"I don't start shit I finish it."

"So do I. But Jo doesn't. He ends it before it starts. Don't push him."

Jo came up a moment later as he looked at Eve and she laughed as she said,

"Oh, Baby? Like he's gonna hurt me."

"I will if you cross me. Now relax." Said Jo.

She huffed again as I then returned to Jia's office. Andou was still sitting in the chair as he said,

"I hope you didn't hurt her."

"I don't hit women. There would be no point."

I took my place again beside Jia's desk as Andou said,

"Fine. I'll go back to Cali."

"Good man. Who are you in debt with anyway?"

"Some syndicate. Not even of importance."

"Wasn't in San Francisco was it?"

"I couldn't fuck with Eirinsu...he would have killed me not chased me."

Jia nodded as he said,

"Then I probably got rid of it."

Andou laughed as he said,

"How many you kill?"

"I try not to make a body count. But some were not so easy."

Andou nodded as he said,

"I'll go then."

"You cause me any trouble there and I will not be so merciful. Remember that Cali is mine as well. I broke peace treaties to make it mine and if one of my associates dies, just one, I will crucify you Andou. Don't test me."

Andou nodded, getting up as he said,

"We'll be in touch then."

With that Andou bowed his head to Jia and then left. I looked at Jia as he gestured me to made sure they left.

Later on, when Jia told us of what had happened, Tai looked at him and said,

"Perhaps you were too merciful this time Jia."

Jia nodded as well as he said,

"I think I may have been. Getting him out of Tokyo may not be enough. He's sick. Someone with a normal mind could understand that testing me would be their death, but Andou seems to be amused by the idea. Killing Eve would not even enrage him as it did others...if anything he would enjoy it and not because he hates Eve, but because it's death. Death, destruction...he loves it."

Jo looked at Jia as his hair still fell around his face because he couldn't pull it up as he said,

"Maybe we should kill him."

"An easy solution...but somehow I know that would backfire on me. I'm not sure how or why that thought came to mind, it's just a feeling I have. So...I rather not."

"We should send him under Eirinsu's eye." Said Aya.

Jia looked at him as he said,

"That might actually work. If he does anything Eirinsu would have him killed so quickly."

Jia then thought about it a moment and then let us go as he decided to call Eirinsu about it. Meanwhile, Aoki and Aya were sent to deliver the message to Andou.

Jo and I waited in the lobby as Jo leaned back in the sofa and sighed as he said,

"My arm hurts."

"You were shot. I would expect it to hurt."

He blew his hair from his face as he said,

"I wish I could just tie up my hair."

"Why don't you just cut it?"

"I can't. Ichiro threatened me."

I raised an eyebrow as I said,

"He threatened you?"

"Said if I cut it he wouldn't fuck me anymore."

I shook my head as he then said,

"Speaking of fucking, what's up with you and Furukawa?"

"Nothing. Really. I don't know."

He looked at me as he said,

"You need to be slow. It's good."

"I guess."

"You don't wanna spend fifty years either. I doubt he has that much patience."

"I doubt so too."

I tucked my hair behind my ears as everyone began to leave. I looked at Jo and said,

"Aren't you leaving?"

"I'm takin Jia home. He can't be alone."

I nodded as I said,

"I was doing the same."

"That's good. He needs more protection around him anyway."

Once Jia appeared in the lobby, saying good night to Akio and Gabriel, he walked over to us. Akio kissed Jo on his cheek as he said he would call him later as Jia sighed and said,

"Two guards huh? Is it that serious?"

Jo laughed a little as he said,

"Not takin no chances Jia."

Jia nodded as we then left for the garage, Jia getting in the back seat as I got in the passenger side. Jo tossed his hair back as he then started up the car, a sight to see considering Jo is right handed and his right arm was hurt. He got the key in the ignition as he then started up and pulled out and began to take Jia home. Jia was quiet the whole time, his mind going on loudly but within the walls of his skull. He didn't say anything, he just looked out the window. Once we got to his apartment, Jo parked the car as I got out and opened the door for him. Jia stepped out as he said,

"Good night Mikkie."

"Good night Jia."

I bowed my head slightly as Jia went inside and went to his apartment as I got back in the car and Jo drove ahead. As he drove he said,

"Want me to take you home?"

I thought for a moment as I said,

"No, go to Furukawa's building."

He didn't say anything but I could see that smile forming under that mop of dark red hair.

He pulled up in front of Furukawa's building as I got out and went inside. I went to his office as I knocked and heard his voice allow me in. I opened the door and went inside as he looked up and said,

"Yuurei. What a nice surprise."

He stood up and came over to me as he hugged me and kissed my cheek. I stood motionless, waiting until he finished as I said,

"Jia met with Andou today."

"What did he say?"

"Andou is insane. It's clear. He lives off death and destruction."

"Interesting."

"Jia is sending him back to California. To be watched by Eirinsu so he won't cause anymore damage."

"Jia's a smart man."

"I know."

Kazuki looked down at me as he said,

"Daijoubu?"

"Hai...just a little tired."

He kissed my cheek again as he held me and said,

"I should take you home Yuurei."

"I'm about to go home. I just wanted to tell you about the meeting with Andou."

"Is that the only reason?"

"Yes."

He kissed me anyway. As if me saying no, that wasn't the only reason he was going to kiss me. I kissed back, slowly getting use to the idea of kissing someone else as we then broke apart. He smiled as he said,

"I should take you home."

"Actually I should take you home. You're the oyabun not me."

He smiled as he said,

"Whatever you wish."

I accompanied Kazuki all the way to his apartment by cab. Once he was home, I took the cab back to my own apartment and went home.

Andou was not all too pleased about going back to California, let alone to be watched by Eirinsu's frozen eye. But he had no choice if he wanted to live. Before he left, Andou came himself to see Jia. He stood in the lobby waiting as Aoki, Jo, Akio and myself watched him. Gabriel had let Jia know upstairs and we were awaiting our oyabun's arrival. Andou stood still, hands behind him, a dark gray suit on, his heavy eye make up on, his hair still done in that strange way. Once Jia arrived, Aoki stood up and went over to check on Andou as he pat him down to make sure he didn't have anything on him. Once it was sure he was clean, Jia approached him as he said,

"What?"

"I'd thought I'd let you know personally that I'll be leaving tonight."

"Glad to know it."

"I won't cause you anymore trouble here Jia. But I'll let you know one thing."

"And what's that?"

"Keeping me bound will cause further damage later."

"You threatening me?"

"No, never. Just letting you know that if I explode in California, I'll be smart enough not to do it in San Francisco and I'll leave a massive body count behind me."

Jia looked at him seriously as he said,

"You have to be insane to say things like that."

"I can't help it. It's a need I have...much like to blink and breathe...it's a reflex. If a reflex is kept back, eventually, it will do it on it's own. With or without your minds consent."

Jia nodded as he said,

"I suggest you get help. And if you leave a body count, try not to make too big and make sure it's none of my employees. Or I'll add you to the pile."

Andou smiled in his evil manner, devious and dark as he shook Jia's hand and said,

"I swear I will."

"You know Andou...if I trusted you I would employ you."

"And what would you have me do?"

"What else? Kill for me."

Andou smiled and laughed slightly as he said,

"I would outshine anyone else here."

"I bet you would."

"How could I earn your trust then Jia-sama?"

"Keep your end of the deal. We'll speak again in due time."

Andou nodded as he then bowed his head slightly, let go of Jia's hand and went on his way.
