| The holiday season is upon us. For many of us, it is the Christmas season, culminating on Monday. For others, the holiday begins today (winter solstice) or last night (Hannukah). This is the first holiday season for the e-Lobby. If only it could be brighter in Communist China. Several churches, Protestant and Catholic, and mosques are being razed by the Communists in their war on faith. Falun Gong and Zhong Gong are still derided as "cults," with their members rounded up and sent to prison, labor camps, or mental institutions. Still, we have much for which to be thankful. In the nine months the e-Lobby has been up and running, our membership has risen to 40 (not bad compared to zero), and thanks to you, our members, we have been able to light a candle for liberty, and expose the PRC's evil deeds. We can't tell you how much it has meant to hear your encouragement and support. Here's to a year of further growth and progress in the battle to help the Chinese people liberate themselves from their Communist oppressors. D.J. McGuire, Co-chair and President: China e-Lobby The only link this week is a story by AFP on the spread of faith in Communist China as Christmas approaches, despite the attempts of Communists to stop it.
