Paul Jackson, Calgary Sun, blasts the Communists for their threats against Taiwan, twice. Caroline Gluck, BBC, examines the political state of affairs in Taiwan as Chen begins his second term. The Asian Times (via Epoch Times) details Communist China�s recent military buildup opposite Taiwan (don�t let the headline fool you). More On Communist China and the United States Sign the petition for an American boycott of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Lev Navrozov, Newsmax, wants at least some, if not all, of the energy dedicated to Iraq shifted to Communist China. Ellen Bork, of the Project for the New American Century, calls for greater communication between the U.S and Europe on Communist China, particularly to prevent the lifting of the European Union arms ban on the PRC. On India The editors of the Washington Times hope the election results in India (see last Update) won�t prevent the world�s largest democracy from becoming �a welcomed geo-political counterweight to Chinese power.� On North Korea Sign up for the North Korea Report to get the next edition on Monday. Parapundit founder Randall Parker (Member since 2003) wonders if Communist China�s heavy gender imbalance could spill over into, and destabilize, North Korea. On The Falun Gong War The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang To Justice releases its resolution (reprinted by the China Support Network) in support of lawsuits against Central Military Commission Chairman Jiang Zemin, the author of the nearly five year persecution of Falun Gong. On Corruption in Communist China The Epoch Times documents the �five basic tendencies� of white-collar criminals in Communist China�s state-owned firms.
