between Communist China and Iraq.

On Communist China and North Korea
James Hackett, in the
Washington Times, details Communist Chinas ties to North Korea, and explains why trying to get the PRC to sanction its ally will likely fail.  Unfortunately, he is not willing to support, or even mention, working to liberate the people of northern Korea from the Stalinist regime that continues to starve and enslave them.

James Lilley, former Ambassador to South Korea, gave his views on North Koreas nuclear ambitions to CNN.  In his interview he
included Communist China with Japan and South Korea as friends and allies of the U.S.  Jim Hoagland, Washington Post, sees the PRCs complete non-action on its Stalinist ally as a need for a workable regional strategy. However, he himself does not provide such a strategy.

The editors of the
Post are particularly annoyed at the reactions of Communist China and Russia on North Koreas nuclear weapons, calling their repeated demands that the U.S. give the Stalinists what they want the easy way out of confronting a dictator.  Dr. Alexandr Nemets, in Newsmax.com, finds more sinister motives behind Communist Chinas treatment of its five-decade ally.

On the State of Workers in the Workers State
Philip P. Pan,
Washington Post, chronicles the travails of Yao Xinde and Xiong, two crew foremen who were never paid for months of construction work until they threatened suicide.  While Pan did not mention if the firm involved was a state-run firm and give its name, Huangpu No. 2 Construction Co., its quite likely   it was certainly wired into the local Communist power network.

Pan also noted the Communist-run Xinhua survey in which nearly three in four migrant workers have trouble collecting their pay first reported in the
1/22 Update.  The increase in attempted suicides is in large part is due to the fact that the only labor union allowed by law is the one run by the Communist Party the very folks who control the political officials and state-run firms.
