| 2-Year Anniversary: Two years ago today, the China e-Lobby began with its first Update. Since then, weve been involved in lobbying on several issues (a couple of them actually successful), and have grown from a dozen to nearly a hundred members. Thanks to all of you for your support through it all, as we continue to build and prepare to help the Chinese people free themselves from Communism. D.J. McGuire: Co-chair and President, China e-Lobby P.S. As you may have noticed, theres been of news on and from Communist Chinese ally North Korea. As a result, the China e-Lobby is considering a special weekly report on North Korea. Should we? Let us know at [email protected] if youd be interested in receiving the weekly report. No one who doesnt respond will receive it, if we do it, so youll need to tell us if youd like it to be sent to you. Now for the links: Link of the Week CNNs Willy Wo-Lap Lam reports on corruption in Communist China. In a breathtaking report, he finds it rampant within the Communist Party, on the rise, tied to organized crime, and likely to get worse before it gets better. He also says it is thoroughly souring the Chinese peoples support such as it was for the Communists, who now even fear being brought down by corruption. On PRC ally North Korea John Hall reveals the stories of those who have escaped the Stalinist starvation in North Korea, and what those still left behind must suffer, in the Washington Times. Hall notes that Communist China is allowing its ally to send plainclothes thugs into China to hunt down its escaping subjects. Theres still time to contact the President and tell him not to appoint pro-PRC Doug Paal as de facto ambassador to Taiwan. As Communist Chinas allies and weapons customers enter the crosshairs, check out the latest on Communist China and the Terrorist War, either directly or via our main page. Sign the Boycott Petition: In reaction to the decision of the International Olympic Committee awarding Beijing the 2008 Olympic Games, the China e-Lobby has begun a petition for an American boycott of those games. Feel free to forward this to anyone you think might be interested in receiving it. Anyone who wishes to join can send his/her name and e-mail address to [email protected]. Please feel free to send any news on Communist China you happen to find to the same address. |
