On the 26th we (meaning me and my family) were selling medieval games such as we do every year at a Renaissance Faire. The day started out nice enough, but around 12:00 (one hour into the fair) it began to rain, and by 2:30 we had been flooded out of our booth. Four inches of water, everything piled on boxes, the chess set that I had just repainted was thrown into a bag to keep it dry (They all chipped immeadiately). Sunday was better.
Now, on Monday our computer crapped out on us. Hard drive crashed. Now, as a writer, that was just about the most painful thing for it to do to me. Luckily, almost everything was on disk. It took a week and half for us to get the computer back, and when we finally did, the printer wouldn't work and neither did the internet. It's taken until today to get that all up and running again.
Grrr... I'm leaving out a lot, but it's late, I'm tired, and it's all too horrible to remember. [Sigh] What's a poor girl to do?
