An explanation of my handles: I'm probably the farthest travelled of any of my family members, logging mileage to and from Asia, Australia, and Europe, plus I once owned the family minivan, a Plymouth Voyager. One of my favorite albums is the Moody Blues' Long Distance Voyager. So, I gladly took upon myself the handle Long Distance Voyager, shortened to LongDistVger on occasion.
The first online quiz I ever took was a "What kind of mythological creature are you?" quiz. After completing it, I found out I was a chimera (a creature of ancient Greece made up of a conglomeration of different animals) Seeing how this fit me in so many right ways, I took on the handle ChimeraKarmaa.
The pseudonym Setdragonfriend and Setdragonkine have to do with my craft names. My craft name (or name I gave to myself after dedicating myself to Wicca) has fluctuated over time, and I finally landed on one I used for a while, one I was finally satisfied with: Setsuna Bagheera Dragonfriend. Setsuna is a Japanese name, roughly the equivalent of Susan, I think. I just liked the sound of it and fit my craft persona well. Bagheera is the name of the panther in The Jungle Book, and since the panther is my long-standing animal totem, I adopted his name as my middle. The last name, Dragonfriend, I created because I wished to express my connection with my mythological totem, the dragon. Later, I refined my craft name when my bird totem made itself apparent to me, changing my middle name to Sparrow; then I changed the last name to Dragonkine because I realized that I am not merely a friend to dragons, but am spiritually their kin.
