Chapter 10: Giovanni
Over the next several days Giovanni was looking at the reports, he could see that everything was going fine, except for two things, Jessie, James, and Meowth and the recapture of 'The Project'.
As he read about the latest report of about 'The Project' all of his men where defeated by either her or the Pokemon that were traveling with her. All his men were either in jail or in the hospital. All but one, he was being examined to find out what was wrong with him. For some strange reason that TR member had total amnesia and could not remember anything, even his own name.
Because so many of his men were in jail or waiting to go to jail, Giovanni only bailed some of his men to find out how and why 'The Project' did that.
After interviewing his men either it was himself or by the other TR members, found out that the TR Member, with the total amnesia, was the last to battle 'The Project' and he wasn't going to tell him anything at all.
After finding out that he lost a TR member, he went to his office and screamed and threw some papers as his Persian backed away from Giovanni. After a moment or two he calmed down and then thought <"I wonder why 'The Project' did that. I know how she did it, but why?">
Giovanni thought a bit more and then pushed a button and said, "I want you to get my helicopter ready, and I am going to go to see Prof. Sage."
The TR member answered, "Do you want me to tell Prof. Sage that you are coming?"
Giovanni replied, "No, I want to surprise him."
As the TR members ready Giovanni's helicopter, Giovanni thought were still at what 'The Project' had done so far. Also Giovanni also knew if 'The Project' wanted to she could destroy his organization Team Rocket. So he knew that if he wanted to prevent that 'The Project' must be caught and any and all Pokemon that were traveling with her.
(And as everyone's knows that the only Pokemon traveling with Cara are Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew)
As Giovanni got in the helicopter, closely followed by his Persian, he looked at his TR members, and hoped that nothing else goes wrong.
The ride to Prof. Sage was smooth, although Giovanni's thought were not. He was thinking over and over again why 'The Project' had completely erased the memories of that particular TR member.
Giovanni's Persian would now and again either meow or rubs his head on his legs for him and then Giovanni would absently stroke Persian's head.
As Giovanni got out of the helicopter, still lost in his thoughts, he motioned the pilot to take off and not to come back until he had called for him. The pilot nodded his head and left.
Because Giovanni wanted to surprised Prof. Sage he told the pilot of the helicopter to leave him at a certain distance of that Prof. Sage wouldn't know that he was coming.
When Giovanni got to the new secret lab of Prof. Sage, he hesitated a bit and then rang the doorbell.
When the door opened up a TR member saw Giovanni at the door with his Persian and said "Hello, Boss. I didn't expect you to be here. Is there anything I can do for you?'
Giovanni nodded and said, "No, I came here to see the Prof. and to discuss some things."
The TR member nodded and said "I will tell the Prof. that you are here and you can discuss anything over a light snack."
Giovanni nodded.
The TR member went over to Prof. Sage and told him that Giovanni was here and he wanted to talk to him and that he would bring some snacks for him and Giovanni. Prof. Sage nodded his head and proceeded to the dining room, where he saw Giovanni sitting there as well and his Persian laying next to the chair besides him.
It was then that the TR member brought over some snacks and gave Giovanni's Persian a saucer of cream. The Persian was grateful that the talking Meowth wasn't here to try to steal his cream.
Prof. Sage said "Hello, Mr. Giovanni, It is a unexpected surprise to see you here. Why did you come here?"
Giovanni answered "I came here to see you and to discuss some things about 'The Project' and to get away from all this craziness about The Project'."
Prof. Sage chuckled a bit and said "Yes, 'The Project' had given us trouble while she was with us and even now she is still causing trouble as it is, in her recapture."
Giovanni groaned at that and said, "That is true. Although the one is that happened is that one of my men had his whole memory totally wiped by 'The Project' and I want to why she did it?"
Prof. Sage blinked his eyes a couple of times at what Giovanni had said and asked, "Do you know the reason why she did it?"
Giovanni shook his head and said, "I don't know, other than he was the last person to fight 'The Project'."
Prof. Sage thought for a moment or two and asked, "What kind of injuries did he have?"
Giovanni thought for a moment and said "He had burns up and down on his body on his front and his arm and hands. A few scratches bumps and bruises. Also he had another injury as well." Giovanni hesitated for a moment or two and then Prof. Sage asked, "What kind of injury did he have?" Giovanni instead of answering pointed down to a particular area and Prof. winced at where he pointed.
Prof. Sage thought for a moment and then asked, "What kind of burns did he have?"
Giovanni replied, "I believe that he had very bad 1st and light 2nd degree burns."
Prof. Sage thought for a moment and then said, "He snapped, that TR member had lost his mind. Although I am not totally sure I believe that TR member lost his mind."
Giovanni asked, "How would you know?"
Prof. Sage answered, "From what you told me, it could be only that. One thing I want to asked you, What kind on damage did that TR member have down below?"
Giovanni answered, "I believe, from what I was told, was that the damage that happened would not have any permanent effects. Although the damage to that area was intensive, he will heal. From what I was told it looked like he was that with a rock."
Prof. Sage groaned at that and said, "In a way 'The Project' did some good, ever if he was defeated and returned back to Team Rocket, he would be of no use to you. But that is enough about you men. Do you want to talk about any thing else?"
Giovanni though for a moment or two and it was then the TR member came up and asked, "What would you like for dinner, sirs?"
Because the TR member had broken his thoughts, turned to his TR member and said "I will have my usual and what will you have Prof. Sage?"
Prof. Sage told the TR member what he wanted and the TR member did what he was told and went away.
After dinner Prof. Sage said, "You are spoiling me. That meal was delicious."
Giovanni nodded and had noticed that because of the good Prof. was eating more that he had filled out, not much, put he didn't looked like a starving beggar and said "Nothing but the best for my best workers."
Prof. Sage nodded at Giovanni remark.
Giovanni got up and said "It is getting late I think we should get some sleep. I know where the guest rooms are and I will sleep in one of them."
Prof. Sage looked at the time and saw that it was getting late and agreed with Giovanni and went to his sleeping quarters.
Giovanni thought that it would be a good idea to make sure that Prof. Sage had somebody with him as he had noticed that when the good professor was working on something he would forget everything else and so in order to keep Prof. Sage a member of TR Giovanni made sure that Prof. Sage got to eat, drink and sleep properly.
The next morning...
Prof. Sage saw that Giovanni was already awake and looking at the new Pokeseeds that he had made.
Giovanni then said "I see that you have made some new additions to Pokeseeds. I wonder how long it will take to complete when 'The Project' is caught."
Prof. Sage said "Once she is caught and the operations are finished, I will then put the new Pokeseeds in her. Although it will take a few more years to finished. I am sure that you will not mind. You had waited for almost 15 years for 'The Project' to be finished. If she had not escaped, she would be doing your work for you. And would have help brought in Mewtwo and there would be nothing he could do about it."
Giovanni nodded and said, "That is true, have you found anyway so that 'The Project' can be recaptured? That bag that you gave to two of my team members seemed to have lost it."
Prof. Sage nodded his head and said "Nothing I have thought of that that will help catch 'The Project'. Although if we look at what 'The Project' has done, maybe, just maybe, we can use that to find out what she is doing and where she is going."
Giovanni said, "I agree. We will do it this afternoon. I will make sure that we have a map and then we go from there."
After a good breakfast and a good lunch, the map that he ask one of TR member to bring over.
As they waited for the map Giovanni looked at the surroundings at the new lab that he had built to replace that he and his fellow TR members had to abandon after Cara had escaped. The location was near a forest instead of the wide-open spaces that the other place had. It also had the same things as the old place had. Although the place had be changed instead of having the living/sleeping quarters a fair distance from the exercise area it is much closer. Although in a few weeks if Cara had been capture it would have not matter.
Giovanni knew that there were new Pokemon being discovered and that when a new Pokemon was acquired they made, they made sure to get a small sample of something so that a new Pokeseeds could be made although the implantation would have to wait until Cara is captured. As he saw that the good Professor had made several from the sample of the Pokemon that TR had stolen.
As Giovanni looked outside, he tried to think how Cara had escaped. He had a good guess how Cara had escaped, but because of the lack of video, it was all he could do guess. As Giovanni was lost in his thoughts he didn't noticed Prof. Sage come up. It was then that Prof. Sage said "Hello, Mr. Giovanni, what are you thinking?"
Giovanni got startled at what Prof. Sage had said and said, "I am thinking about how 'The Project' had escaped. I had figured that 'The Project' had used either used Kadabra or Magneton to affect the video without causing any immediate problems to anyone else. Although I tried everything to see if I could get those tapes fixed, but nothing could be done. Even one person said it looked like that the tape got erased."
It was then Prof. Sage said "I think it would be more than likely that 'The Project' used Magneton than Kadabra, because Magneton can effect both electrical and magnetic fields."
Giovanni replied "The one thing that I am sure is that 'The Project' had planned it for several days, because I had checked a few days back and saw that 'The Project' had done it as well."
Prof. Sage nodded and said, "I guess that 'The Project' is a lot smarter than we of. Do you remember what 'The Project' did when I put in Abra?"
Giovanni groaned and replied "She teleported all over the place in the hope that she could escape. If it wasn't for the collar, she might have gotten away."
Prof. Sage thought for a moment and then said, "How many times did 'The Project' tried to escape until she did?"
Giovanni replied " Too many to count. Although I believe that 'The Project' tried to escape about 12... 14 times during the time she was there. Although it was mostly during the first two years that she tried to escape. But remember that it was the last one that was successful."
Prof. Sage nodded his head...
Giovanni then said "As to how 'The Project' escape, I am just guessing, because my men where not able to give much in details as to how she escaped. 'The Project' somehow used the flare-up to caused the disruption in order to get the collar off and then used three different attacks to handle my men. A water attack, a fire attack, and a wind attack, because my men were either soaking wet, charred or some had looked like a hurricane had blown them away. Some of my men where somehow put up on the beam near the roof."
Prof. Sage then asked, "How can you be sure?"
Giovanni answered, "By what had happened and what I saw when I got to the exercise. The whole building shook like something exploded and when I got to the exercise the first thing I saw was the collar that "The Project' was wearing was in two. As I said before my men were either soaking wet charred or some looked like a hurricane had blown them away. 'The Project' also caused some of my men to make impressions in the walls. Also I saw the hole that 'The Project' had made. It was 6 or 7 feet in diameter and led out. The thing is that it only took the whole escape about 2 or 3 minutes, maybe even less."
Prof. Sage wondered if Giovanni was serious about what he was telling him, when he looked at Giovanni's face he knew that Giovanni was serious. Prof. Sage then asked, "How many of your people did 'The Project' defeat?"
Giovanni thought for a moment and said "About a dozen or so of my men."
Prof. Sage replied, "So in less than three minutes or so 'The Project' had defeated 12 of you men."
Giovanni nodded and said, "I believe so, but there could have been more. I have to find out because I had a lot more people working there."
It was then that a TR member came up and said, "Here are the maps that you order and also here are some plans for you to look over."
Giovanni nodded and told him what he and the Professor wanted for lunch and then sent him on his way.
Giovanni then said "I believe that we should look at the maps after lunch so that we are refreshed and can figured out what to do next."
Prof. Sage agreed with Giovanni...
After lunch...
The TR member had the maps prepared so that Giovanni and Prof. Sage didn't have any trouble looking at them.
As Giovanni started to look at the map Prof. Sage said "I think that we should do a review of what 'The Project' can do."
Giovanni was puzzled at what Prof. Sage had said and Prof. Sage noticed his confusion and said, "What I mean is, let do a review of the Pokemon attack that 'The Project' can do."
Giovanni nodded at Prof. Sage and said, "I know what 'The Project' can do. Remember I was attacked by her not to long ago."
Prof. Sage said, "We both know what 'The Project' can do. It is more of what kinds of Pokemon are in here and what can be done. So I thought it would be a good idea to do this review."
It was then that Giovanni understood what Prof. Sage was saying and nodded at him.
Prof. Sage took a deep breath and said, "I think that we should start off with the types that are in her."
Prof. Sage looked at some papers and said "OK, the types that are in 'The Project' are Grass Type, Fire Type, Water Type, Bug Type, Flying Type, Normal Type, Poison Type, Electric Type, Ground Type, Fighting Type, Psychic Type, Rock Type, Ghost Type, and Dragon Type, with combination of Poison Types, Flying Types, Fighting Types, and Ice Types. So the first one is the Grass Types Pokemon, which are a Bulbasaur, an Ivysaur, a Venusaur, an Oddish, a Gloom, a Vileplume, and a Tangela. One thing is that 'The Project' can do if she wants to be to use a Bulbasaur, an Ivysaur or a Venusaur to supplement her diet. These three Pokemon can use the sun so that they don't need to eat for several days. The attacks for the Grass type Pokemon that are in her are Absorb, Acid, Growth, Leech Seed, Petal Dance, Poison Powder, Razor Leaf, Slam, Sleep Powder, Solar Beam, Stun Spore, Vine Whip. And Grass Type Pokemon are Good against: Water, Ground, and Rock and are Bad against: Fire, Grass, Poison, Flying, Bug, and Dragon.
Prof. Sage then said, "Next ones are the Fire type Pokemon which are, Charmander, a Charmeleon, a Charizard, a Vulpix, a Ninetales, a Growlithe, an Arcanine, a Ponyta, a Rapidash, a Magmar, and a Flareon. And the attacks for the Fire type Pokemon that are in her are Agility, Bite, Confuse Ray, Ember, Fire Punch, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Growl, Leer, Quick Attack, Rage, Roar, Slash, Smog, Smokescreen, Stomp, Tail Whip, and Take Down and Fire Type are Good against: Grass, Ice, and Bug, and are Bad against: Water, Fire, Dragon, and Rock
Prof. Sage rested for a moment and said "So the third one is the Water Types Pokemon, which are Squirtle, a Wartortle, a Blastoise, a Golduck, a Poliwag, a Poliwhirl, a Poliwrath, a Seel, a Dewgong, a Gyarados, and a Vaporeon. And the attacks for the Water type Pokemon that are in her are Acid Armor, Amnesia, Aurora Beam, Bite, Body Slam, Bubble, Confusion, Disable, Doubleslap, Dragon Rage, Fury Swipes, Growl, Haze, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam, Hypnosis, Ice Beam, Leer, Quick Attack, Rest, Sand Attack, Skull Bash, Tail Whip, Take Down, Water Gun, And Withdraw and Water Type Pokemon are Good against: Fire, Ground, Rock and Bad against: Water, Grass, and Dragon."
Giovanni then said, "Although 'The Project' has those attacks some of them she can't use or properly use."
Prof. Sage replied, "That is true, but that didn't stop us to see if a human could do some Pokemon Attacks. Now to the next set of Pokemon is Bug-Type Pokemon, which are a Butterfree, a Paras, a Parasect, a Venonat, and a Venomoth. And the attacks for the Bug Type Pokemon that are in her are Confusion, Growth, Leech Life, Poison Powder, Psybeam, Psychic, Slash, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore, Supersonic, and Whirlwind. Bug Type Pokemon are Good against Grass, Psychic, and Bad against Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, and Ghost."
Prof. Sage continued and said, "So the fifth one is the Flying Types Pokemon, a Pidgey, a Pidgeotto, a Pidgeot, a Spearow, a Fearow, a Doduo and a Dodrio. And the attacks for the Flying Type Pokemon that are in her are Agility, Drill Pick, Fury Attack, Growl, Leer, Mirror Move, Quick Attack, Rage, Sand-Attack, Tri Attack, Whirlwind, And a Wing Attack. Flying Type Pokemon Are Good against: Grass, Fighting, Bug and Bad against: Electric, Rock."
Prof. Sage then said, "So the sixth one is the Normal Types Pokemon, which are a Clefairy, a Clefable, a Jigglypuff, a Wigglytuff, a Meowth, a Persian, a Doduo and a Dodrio. And the attacks for the Normal Type Pokemon that are in her are Bite, Body Slam, Defense Curl, Disable, Double-Edge, Doubleslap, Fury Swipes, Light Screen, Metronome, Minimize, Pay Day, Pound, Rest, Screech, Sing, and Slash. Normal Type Pokemon is Bad against: Rock, and Ghost. Although if these type of Pokemon have enough experience they could defeat the other types of Pokemon. Although you would the Pay Day and get the extra money from it."
Giovanni nodded...
Prof. Sage then said, So the seventh one is the Poison Types Pokemon, which are Ekans, an Arbok, a Nidoran, an (F), a Nidorina, a Nidoqueen, a Nidoran, an (M), a Nidorino, a Nidoking, a Zubat and a Golbat. And the attacks for the Poison Type Pokemon that are in her are Acid, Bite, Body Slam, Confuse Ray, Double Kick, Focus Energy, Fury Attack, Fury Swipes, Glare, Haze, Horn Attack, Horn Drill, Poison Sting, Scratch, Screech, Supersonic, Tail Whip, Thrash, And Wing Attack. Poison Type Pokemon is Good against: Grass and Bad against: Poison, Ground, Rock, and Ghost.
Prof. Sage then said, "So the eighth one is the Electric Types Pokemon, which are Pikachu, a Raichu, a Magnemite, a Magneton, an Electabuzz and a Jolteon. And the attacks for the Electric Type Pokemon that are in her are Agility, Double Kick, Light Screen, Pin Missile, Quick Attack, Screech, Sonicboom, Supersonic, Swift, Tail Whip, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Thunderpunch, Thundershock, And Thunderwave. Electric Type Pokemon is Good against: Water, Flying and Bad against: Grass, Electric, Ground, and Dragon."
Giovanni then said "Remember when 'The Project' tried to use Pin Missile Attack as a means to escape. I am glad that I put that control collar on her so that if she did something wrong, like escape, it would be used."
Prof. Sage nodded his head and said, "That is true. During all that time, who would of thought that 'The Project' had planned at least several days in advance to finally escape from TR."?
Prof. Sage then said, "So the ninth one is the Ground Types Pokemon, which are Sandshrew and a Sandslash. And the attacks for the Ground Type Pokemon are in her are Fury Swipes, Poison Sting, Sand Attack, Slash, and Swift. Ground Pokemon is Good against: Fire, Poison, Electric, Rock, Bad against: Grass, Flying, ands Bug."
Prof. Sage then said, "So the tenth one is the Fighting Types Pokemon, which are Mankey, a Primeape, a Mankey, a Primeape, a Machop, a Machoke, a Machamp, a Hitmonlee and a Hitmonchan. And the attacks for the Fighting Type Pokemon are in her are Counter, Fire Punch, Focus Energy, Fury Swipes, Hi Jump Kick, Ice Punch, Jump Kick, Karate Chop, Leer, Low Kick, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Rolling Kick, Seismic Toss, Submission, Thrash, and Thunderpunch. Fighting Pokemon is Good against: Normal, Ice, Rock, and is Bad against: Poison, Flying, Bug, Ghost, and Psychic."
Prof. Sage then said, "I am glad that you got so many Fighting Instructors to help with those Fighting Type Pokemon."
Prof. Sage then said, "So the eleventh one is the Psychic Types Pokemon, which are Abra, a Kadabra, an Alakazam, a Drowzee, a Hypno, a Mewtwo and a Mew. And the attacks for the Psychic Type Pokemon are in her are Amnesia, Barrier, Confusion, Disable, Headbutt, Kinesis, Meditate, Mega Punch, Metronome, Mist, Poison Gas, Psybeam, Psychic, Recover, Reflect, and Teleport. Psychic Pokemon is Good against: Fighting, Poison and Bad against: Psychic."
Giovanni was deep in thought and said, "I remember that when 'The Project' got Abra, she tried to use teleport to escape. Until the collar was used she gave my members quite a chase." Prof. Sage chuckled at that.
Prof. Sage then said, "So the twelfth one is the Rock Types Pokemon, which are Geodude, a Graveler, a Golem and an Onix. And the attacks for the Rock Type Pokemon is in her are Bind, Defense Curl, Earthquake, Explosion, Harden, Rage, Rock Throw, Selfdestruct, and Slam. Rock Pokemon is Good against: Ice, Fire, Flying, Bug and Bad against: Fighting, Ground."
Prof. Sage then said, "So the thirteenth one is the Ghost Types Pokemon, which are Gastly, a Haunter and a Gengar. And the attacks for the Ghost Type Pokemon are in her are Dream Eater And Hypnosis. Ghost Pokemon is Good against: Ghost, and Psychic."
Prof. Sage noticed that Giovanni was getting bored and Prof. Sage said, "Just one more and we are finished."
Prof. Sage then said, "So the fourteenth one is the Dragon Types Pokemon, which are Dratini, a Dragonair, and a Dragonite. And the attacks for the Dragon Type Pokemon are in her are Agility, Dragon Rage, Hyper Beam, Slam, and Thunderwave. Dragon Pokemon is Good against: Dragon."
Prof. Sage raised up his hands and said "I know, I know, we did was to see what abilities 'The Project' has and what she can do. Beside we can't use any Pokemon to catch 'The Project', because if we used one she could counter the attack with her abilities. Although there are some new Pokemon that I heard of that could be used if the story are true and TR can get one."
Prof. Sage thought for a moment and said "Although if I remember is that 'The Project' is traveling with a Pikachu, Mewtwo and a Mew."
Giovanni nodded and said "Yes, I saw them at the complex where she escaped and after she had said 'She wasn't a Bulbasaur and all the rest', the Pikachu that is traveling with her showed up with Mewtwo and Mew, I almost call my men, only remembering that I was alone. And that when 'The Project' attacked me and for the first time in my life was scared. I had forgotten how powerful she is."
Prof. Sage replied, "That is why I thought that we do a review of what 'The Project' has and what she can do and what she could do to other Pokemon."
Giovanni turned his head, because of what they talked about he thought of nothing but that and said "What do you mean what 'The Project' could do to other Pokemon?"
Prof. Sage replied, "What I mean is "The Project' could make Pokemon stronger. The Pikachu that is traveling could have a faster agility and quick attacks and its electric attack could get stronger. The most powerful known Electric Type Pokemon is an Electabuzz. Now could you imagine a Pikachu being as powerful as a Electabuzz or a Rapidash going cruising at 150 - 175 miles and doing short runs at maybe 200+ miles. Who knows what 'The Project' could do with other Pokemon?"
This really got Giovanni interested and Giovanni asked, "What do you mean a Rapidash running faster than 200 miles an hour. Their top speed is 150 miles."
Prof. Sage answered, "The way I figured is that 'The Project' combined her abilities with the Pokemon and then it would increased it own ability.
Giovanni thought for a moment and asked "How could 'The Project' increase the speed of a Rapidash, when that is the fastest land Pokemon there is?"
Prof. Sage answered, "You won't believe me, but in a way, 'The Project' could give it wings. The fastest Pokemon is a Dragonite. It is ever faster than a Pidgeot, which can go at a speed of Mach 2. The reason is I checked and rechecked the tape several times of the race that 'The Project' was in and I did some figuring out and in the short space of time the Rapidash went 165 miles an hour. Also from the reports that I have gotten it seems that the Pikachu that is traveling with 'The Project' as increased Agility and Electric Attacks. Who knows how strong that Pikachu's attacks are? Because I believe that that Pikachu is holding back."
Giovanni then realized the possibilities of what 'The Project' could do. He then thought if he caught or his men 'The Project' all that she'd had done would be useable and if it was possible do the same things he could build an invincible army of Pokemon and keeping Mewtwo under control wouldn't be hard, because he would do anything so long as he didn't hurt 'The Project', although he could use 'The Project' to keep him in line and that would also be true for the Pikachu and Mew. The problem is catching 'The Project'. So far all and any of the attempts to recapture her and the Pokemon that are traveling with her has failed.
Prof. Sage saw that Giovanni was deep in thought, so he waited and saw Giovanni get disgusted and then said "I guess that you were thinking about 'The Project', what it can do, trying how to recapture her and what you can do with her afterwards."
Giovanni nodded...
Prof. Sage replied, "We know what 'The Project' can do and what she has done. Also we know that you and 'The Project' has some kind of connection and so far had used it only once, that we know of. Also 'The Project has been at least one step ahead of us always on the move. Never staying in one place too long. Maybe if we looked at the map and looked were 'The Project' has been maybe we can figure were she is going."
They took out the map and began to read it. Once they found what they were looking for Giovanni said "This were 'the Project' escaped and after I sent some of my men they first found a partially burnt tree with something on it here." Giovanni pointed to the spot on the map.
Giovanni pointed to another spot on the map and then said "A few day later some of my men caught up with 'The Project' and she got them all soaking wet and that when I was told that a Pikachu was traveling with her."
Prof. Sage looked at Giovanni and asked, "How did they find out about the Pikachu?"
Giovanni groaned and answered, "As my men were about to get 'The Project', she went up in the air, got them soaking wet and then remembered that a Pikachu was traveling with her and tried to get away. Only they were not quick enough and got shock by it. It was than that I found out that a Pikachu is traveling with 'The Project'. Also it was that time that 'The Project' was possibly not eating to well, because one of my men saw her slipping as she was getting away."
Prof. Sage replied "A good way of combining by using water and an electric attack to get away from you men. Although I believe that 'The Project' slipped on a wet patch of grass instead of not keeping her health. Because when a couple of your men had almost caught here." Prof. Sage pointing on a town on the map and said "She had no trouble in getting away from them. Remember that 'The Project' had covered a lot of area in order to get your men soaked."
Giovanni nodded and replied "Ok, from there she went from this town to this town and along the way 'The Project' had stopped tow of my men and got a jeep and sold it at this town."
It was than that Prof. Sage noticed something and said "By the looks of it looked like 'The Project' was going home."
Giovanni replied, "From what I was told it didn't happen. Two of my best Team Members were there and they didn't find her. Beside the next time that she was found was at some sort of ranch were there was that race in which 'The Project was in and then that's when I found out that Mewtwo was traveling."
Prof. Sage asked "How long were they there?"
Giovanni replied "I got the report that they should find 'The Project' and about half an... hour later..." It was then that Giovanni realized something and finished off what he said, "I got the report that they didn't find her."
Prof. Sage replied, "It was at her home town where Mewtwo and Mew meet her. Also by the looks of it they were following her. If I remember that Mewtwo can use teleport and had teleported them far away to get some distance between your men and themselves. Only to meet up with one of your men would seen 'The Project' and Mewtwo."
Giovanni replied "And where he was defeated and put in a place where they thought he won't be seen for sometime."
Prof. Sage nodded...
Prof. Sage then said "From the ranch 'The Project' had been chased from one place to another and from the looks of it came to Pallet Town where they would have meet Prof. Oak." Prof. Sage stopped briefly and said "He is the only other person who might be able to find a cure for 'The Project', only if he and the other where not so blind of what the possibility I could have offer to them. Only the wanted my research to be destroyed, those jealous fools, but now that I am working for you and we get back 'The Project', we will show them."
Giovanni had gotten used to the rant and raves when he talks about the other scientists and over the years it seems that Prof. Sage had calmed down when he talks about them.
Prof. Sage then said, "From there 'The Project' went from Pallet Town to back where she had escaped. Funny that during all that time 'The Project' would come back of all places, and that where you found out that a Mew is traveling with her. I wonder from there did the get to that town."
Giovanni said "It was a few days later that I found out that there some sort of connection between her and me. Only it works when 'The Project' uses it. I remember seeing her somewhere on a beach. I tried to do the same thing, but I couldn't do it."
Prof. Sage said "I think I know why. 'The Project' has a unique ability to communicate to Pokemon. She can mentally communicate to Pokemon. So possibly what had happened was with her psychic abilities and her mental ability that somehow combined and she now have a means to literally know that is you are going to do, if she does that she did again. The only problem is that you will know as well, if 'The Project' does the same or similar again."
Giovanni nodded at what Prof. Sage had said.
Prof. Sage replied "So far we know that 'The Project is trying to keep one step ahead of us and to stop any of you TR members from capturing her. Also we have found out that 'The Project' has learned to combine different attacks and is possibly finding out new combinations as well, like that Phase Running."
Giovanni looked at Prof. Sage and asked, "What is Phase Running?"
Prof. Sage answered, "Phase Running is what I call when 'The Project' combines running and teleportation. You told me what 'The Project' did in order to get away from your men."
Giovanni replied "Yes, one of my men told me about it."
Prof. Sage said, "Although as of now we don't know where 'The Project' is. If there was someone or something that could stop her? The only thing that could possible stop is Mewtwo; only he is traveling with 'The Project'. The one is that if we catch either 'The Project' or the Pokemon that are traveling with her, the other would surrender so that another would not get hurt or anything else like that."
Giovanni chuckled at that and said, "The one thing that we do know is that "The Project' is registered at the Pokemon Center, because of the Pokemon that are traveling with here. Two of my men figured it out; only they ended up in the hospital. Although since I heard about it, I tried to get some of my members in some Pokemon Centres, but no luck so far."
Prof. Sage said "I could guess that those two thought they were a safe enough distance to see when 'The Project' would enter the Pokemon Center, not fully knowing that she has a unique abilities and the end result was them ending up in the hospital and after most of their injuries healed, they went to jail. It is a problem in getting your men out, because if you get too many of your men out at once, the authorities will get suspicious."
Giovanni nodded at what Prof. Sage had said.
As they looked at the map, Giovanni noticed that the town where Cara was seen last and then realized something. He closely and carefully studied that section of the map until he realized where Cara was going.
Giovanni looked at Prof. Sage and said, "I think I know where 'The Project' was going to." Giovanni pointed to an Island and said "To the Island where Mewtwo was created."
It was than that Giovanni got up and went over to a phone. Prof. Sage was wondering what was going on, when Giovanni came back, he said "I called up and sent a helicopter over to the Island to see if 'The Project' and the other Pokemon had been there. I should get a call soon."
Giovanni looked at the map and said, "Let's do a review on the map."
Prof. Sage nodded his head.
Giovanni went to the map and said "From what we can tell 'The Project' went from town to town eventually going back to here home and then went from there to the Big P Ranch were it was found out that Mewtwo was now traveling with her. From there to Pallet Town to where 'The Project' escaped from here to there." Giovanni pointing on the map and said "to the town and we don't know were 'The Project' is now, the only thing that we can do is to wait and see where she will be found next."
Prof. Sage nodded...
It was than that they heard the phone and the TR member answered the phone and brought it over to Giovanni and said "Mr. Giovanni, there is a phone call for you." and Giovanni went over to the phone and said to his member and said "Thanks, you may go now." So Giovanni pick up the phone handle and said, "So you have been there and what did you find? I see. Interesting. There is a what! I, I understand. Anything else? Oh ok. Thanks."
Prof. Sage could see the look on Giovanni face and he waited for Giovanni to speak.
Giovanni sat down and said "I was right, 'The Project had been at the Island were Mewtwo was created, and it looks like 'The Project' had been busy. There is a garden on the Island. There are Apple, Orange, and Grapefruit trees. Also there are several different berry bushes and an herb and vegetable garden as well. The reason why I said that is because all the plant in the garden is fully grown. 'The Project must have used her Grass-type Pokemon abilities to make them grow."
Prof. Sage nodded his head and said "Also 'The Project' must have called some Bug-type Pokemon, using her natural born abilities to mentally communicate to those Pokemon, to pollinate the flowers of the trees."
Giovanni nodded and said "That too. The thing is how is 'The Project' able to afford to by all the things and transport them there."
Prof. Sage thought for a moment, that's when the phone rang again and when it was brought to Giovanni, he'd answered and finished the call he then told Prof. Sage "I found out the that 'The Project' didn't transport the plants, she bought a boat and went to the Island. After her stay on the Island she sold the boat and went on her way. Here is the cost of the boat and the plants and afterwards what she sold the boat for."
Prof Sage looked at the paper and said "Somehow 'The Project had that much money and made a profit when she sold the boat."
Giovanni nodded and said, "One way or another someone will find out how 'The Project' got into some money and how much she has. So until then we have to find some way of catching her."
It was than that Prof Sage noticed something and asked, "What is that."
Giovanni looked at the plans and said "Oh this, it some plans for a machine to catch Mewtwo. My other scientists had developed this and if we can find Mewtwo it would make the capture of 'The Project' easier."
Prof Sage tried to get a good look at the plans where they were. So after a moment or two Prof. Sage asked "Can I see the plans."
Giovanni handed the plans and Prof. Sage got a real good look at them. After a few minutes Prof. Sage went to another room and Giovanni could hear sounds coming from that room. Giovanni was wondering what was going on and was about to see Prof. Sage, when he came back and said, "What you have is interesting and with a few modifications it can be used to capture 'The Project' and if "The Project' tries anything it will be in for a big surprise."
It was then that Prof. Sage told what had to be done and after what Prof. Sage had finished saying, Giovanni nodded and told him that once he got hold of his other scientists about the modifications, the machines will be built and once 'The Project' has been found it will be used.
Giovanni got up and stretched and asked, "How is your other project doing."
Prof. Sage answered, "It is almost done. I still have some bugs to work out, but it will be finished soon."
Giovanni nodded at what Prof. Sage had said.

What is it that Prof. Sage and Giovanni were talking about? You have to wait for a few more chapters to find out. Also what kind of project were they talking about? You have to wait a long time to find out about it, but I believe, when it happens it will be worth the wait.
