Chapter 9: Mew Island. Part 2

For a few minutes Cara, thought for a while before she really got 
going. She figured that Pikachu and Mewtwo might not get travel 
sick, of Mew probably wouldn't either, but because Mew floats in 
the air, and the boat travels he might not notice that the boat is 
moving and would have to catch up to it.

So the best thing that Cara could think of was to put Mew in the 
cabin below.

After going around in the water to make sure that Pikachu, Mewtwo, 
and Mew didn't have travel sickness; Cara then proceeded to 'Mew 
Island'.

Pikachu loved it as the boat traveled went on it way. The sight 
and smells of the ocean was different from the sight and smells of 
the travel he had with Cara and that of his home.

For Mewtwo the trip was different for him, instead of flying to 
and from the island, he now was traveling on a boat and it was for 
the first few minutes that he felt uncomfortable.

For Cara the travel was vastly different for her. For her going to 
a place were more than likely that she wouldn't be chased down or 
anything. No more running away or fighting any TR members. From 
what Mewtwo had said to her 'Mew Island' was paradise.

Only something that happened on the dock would prevent her from 
getting her rest from what happened.

For Mew, being stuck in the cabin he could only see want was going 
outside through the windows of the portholes, but still didn't 
bother him, in fact he looked all around the cabin to see what was 
in there. From what Mew could see, Cara had bought more than 
enough food to feed her and themselves for a week or two.

Although Mew was wondering were the boxes that contained the 
bedding and the other box, which he and the others were wondering 
about. Mew had looked all over the cabin and couldn't find it 
anywhere, but it didn't seem to bother Mew as he found ways to 
have fun with himself.

After traveling between 1/4 and 1/3 the distance to 'Mew Island' 
Cara said, "Mewtwo do you think that you can handle the boat?"

Mewtwo thought for moment and said, ["If you show me how to handle 
it, I think so."]

Cara nodded and replied, "O.K." then pointing the handle next to 
the steering wheel, "This gives throttle gives the boat its speed, 
but no need to change the speed. I got it locked." as Cara 
indicted to the depressed button on the side of the throttle. Cara 
then said, "What I am holding is the steering wheel. To go right, 
you turn the wheel to the right and to go left you turn the wheel 
left and that is mostly it. The reason is that I ask you is want 
to check up on Mew and see if there is something so the he can 
stay with us up here."

Mewtwo nodded and proceeded on with the travel.

Cara went down the ladder and after she got off it she saw Mew 
looking through the window in one of the portholes. Cara giggled 
at Mew.

Mew went to Cara and quickly said, "Mew, Mew, mew, Mew, MEW, Mew, 
Mew."

Cara looked at Mew and as Mew was about to saw it again, when Cara 
said, "I understand what you said, the reason I didn't saw 
anything is you said it a just little bit too fast for me and I 
had to wait a bit to know what you said." Cara took a deep breath 
and said, "You want to know why you are down here Pikachu and 
Mewtwo can going anywhere? The reason is that you float and the 
others don't and I don't want you to chasing this boat." and then 
Cara said under her breathe, "If there was some way that Mew could 
somehow stay in one place."

It was then that Mew came up to Cara and lightly grabbed on to the 
back of her jacket and said "Mew, Mew, mew, mew."

Cara chuckled a bit and said, "Yes, you can do that." and then 
thought, <"I guess that Mew heard me when I whispered.">

It was as they were going up that Mew said something and Cara 
agreed

As Cara came up Pikachu and Mewtwo saw, what looked like, Mew 
clinging on Cara's jacket, but as they got a good look they 
noticed that Mew was just lightly holding on her jacket. Cara then 
said, "Mew said that this is the best way so that he can stay on 
the boat when he is outside."

Mewtwo looked at Cara as she walked up to him and she said, "I can 
take over for the rest of our ride."

Mewtwo nodded and as he passed Cara Mew lightly grabbed Mewtwo and 
stayed with him.

When the boat got halfway to the island Cara stopped the boat, 
dropped the anchor and went down to rest and gets something to 
eat.

Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew followed Cara. When Mewtwo got close 
enough to the stair, Mew floated straight down them. Pikachu 
looked at the stairs and backed away. Mewtwo looked at the stairs 
and proceeded to go down.

Cara saw Mewtwo coming down and she said, "Mewtwo I think that it 
would..." Cara never got to finish her sentence, because Mewtwo 
slipped on one of the steps and fell down the rest of the steps.

Cara went over to Mewtwo and asked, "Are you all right?"

Mewtwo answered ["I am all right, the only thing that is hurt is 
my pride. I didn't expect that to happen. Why?"]

Cara answered, "The only way to get down those steps is to go 
backwards. I was going to tell out that. It happened to me when I 
went down to see here, although it was a different boat that I 
looked at."

Pikachu saw what happened to Mewtwo and heard what Cara had said 
and now knowing somewhat how to get down Pikachu proceeded to 
slowly jumping from step to step. Pikachu was so intent in going 
down that he didn't noticed Cara coming up until he felt Cara's 
hands pick him up and then place him on the floor.

After that Cara, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew ate their lunch.

After eating lunch Cara leaned back and rested. Cara could hear 
the splashing sound of the water against the boat. Also she could 
smell the salt-water air. Cara had never been to the ocean and 
like the day she'd escaped the sights and smell was like paradise 
to her.

Pikachu was looking around the cabin and also was wondering where 
the boxes were. Cara chuckled at Pikachu as he searched for them.

Mew was just playing around, going up and down, searching and 
looking at things.

Mewtwo on the other hand was having some problem. As Cara looked 
Mewtwo tried to fully stand up. Cara had tried to find the right 
boat that wasn't too big or too small. Unfortunately this was the 
only boat that came close. As Cara looked she knew that Mewtwo was 
over 6 feet tall, because the ceiling was that high. After trying 
a couple more times, went down and sat on the floor.

Cara looked at Mewtwo and said, "I am sorry about this, but the 
other boats, that were on sale, were either too big or too small 
for us. Although there was one that I could have rented, but I 
figured that buying a boat would be better, because I don't know 
how long we be on 'Mew Island'."

Mewtwo replied, ["Afterwards you could sell the boat at another 
port for a nice sum. Although you don't need the money."]

Cara chuckled a bit and said, "You are right about the money. The 
amount from that site were those gem were found has given me 
enough money to last me several lifetimes over."

Mewtwo looked at Cara as he saw her eating with one hand. He 
wondered what was wrong. Cara also held the bar with only one 
hand, but Mewtwo didn't worry, because if something were wrong 
with Cara she would tell them.

The rest of the trip went uneventful and soon they were at 'Mew 
Island'. As Cara found out were she had to dock, Cara took the 
boat to the pier. Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew were wondering were the 
all of boxes were when Cara went down below lifted up the carpet a 
bit, pulled a ring, and a hatch in the floor opened up.

Cara looked at the trio and said, "I was surprised about this, 
when I asked about where I could store things away."

In a few minutes all the boxes were out of the boat and were 
placed in the main area of the building.

Mewtwo went to Cara and said; ["This is where I had all the 
Pokemon Trainers sit until I came. That also included Ash."] Then 
Mewtwo went to another area and said, ["and this is were the we 
had the battle."]

Cara looked at it and saw it. The area looked at open stadium, 
Cara hadn't seen one personally, but she had seen pictures of them 
and what trainers had told her before she got kidnapped. Cara also 
looked at the damage was done to the area and could still feel the 
emotions from that battle. Cara had felt rage, pain, anger, 
exhaustion, wonder, sorrow, and happiness. It was then that Cara 
said, "This is where the battle between you, your clones, and the 
trainer's Pokemon and were Ash paid the price so that everyone of 
the Pokemon would stop fighting."

Mewtwo shrugged his shoulders and then said, ["Anyone can tell by 
looking that a battle was here."]

Cara nodded and said, "It is more than that, I can feel what 
happened in the battle." Cara pointed to one place and said, "Over 
there two Gyarados fought over there, Ash's Pikachu refused to 
fight your Pikachu, over there." And Cara told Mewtwo who fought 
where. Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew were amazed at what Cara did. 
(Although Cara had a couple other tricks that she eventually show 
them.)

After a while Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew saw the ground starting to 
shake and then lift and then Cara said, "I believe that this area 
should be gotten rid of. Too many bad memories are here." The task 
was almost getting to Cara if Mewtwo didn't help her. After the 
Stadium was broken up the chunks were scattered into the sea. As 
they looked all that was left was the soil with bits of the 
stadium.

Cara collapsed as after everything was done with the stadium. 
Pikachu, Mewtwo had a big sweat drop and Mew giggled as they heard 
Cara's stomach growled.

After Cara had something to eat, Mewtwo showed them around the 
place. He showed them the cloning chambers were the Pokemon were 
cloned. Mew had seen this place before and told the others about 
James Jessie and Meowth and what they had done. After what Mew had 
said Mewtwo continued with the tour

Mewtwo thought it was best that Cara's bedding to have near the 
big room were main area with pool of water was.

Pikachu and Mew were curious as to what was in that box. Although 
Mewtwo knew that Cara had a surprise for them he was also curious 
to what was in there. As Pikachu and Mew were about to find out 
Cara slammed the doors on them and then for some reason something 
was preventing them from getting any further.

Pikachu and Mew looked at Mewtwo and he said, ["I believe that it 
is something that Cara can do. It must deal with her natural born 
talent. We can asked Cara what is after she is finished."] Pikachu 
and Mew nodded their heads an agreement.

Several hours later...

Cara came out from the area, wiped the sweat from her forehead, 
turned around, shut the doors, put her hand on it and then walk 
over to the table and sat down on one of the chairs.

Mewtwo went over to Cara and asked, ["What did you do to prevent 
Pikachu and Mew from following you? Although I figured that is has 
something to do with you natural born gift."]

Cara answered, "You are right, I found out about a year or two 
afterwards that I could attract Pokemon, so a few days later I 
thought that if I could attract Pokemon, why can't I do the exact 
opposite. After some trials and errors I finally mastered 
attracting and repelling Pokemon. Although, I could understand, 
the Pokemon were very angry with me during that time. They didn't 
afterwards."

It was then that Pikachu tried to get past the door and felt the 
same thing as he tried to find out earlier in the day.

Mewtwo looked at what was happening to Pikachu and said, ["You can 
do it inanimate object too?]

Cara nodded and said, Yes, I can do that as well. Although it is 
not as strong as I can do it, but as long I am in a certain 
distance any Pokemon will not be able to anything about it."

It was some time later that Cara went to sleep.

Cara continued to go doing whatever she was doing for the next two 
or three days. After that Cara led Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew through 
the doors and they all gasped at what they saw.

Mewtwo looked at Cara and said, ["So that was in the box. 
Plants."]

Cara nodded and said, "I saw a place in town and saw all sort of 
different trees and plants. Once I found out what I needed I went 
over and bought several different fruit trees and vegetables. Also 
I bought some herbs."

The trio went looking at the plants that she had planted and grew. 
On one side there were a grove of apple trees and growing right 
beside that was grapefruit trees and both of them were over 4 feet 
tall. Opposite them were some oranges trees, also around the same 
height at the apple and grapefruit trees. Pikachu had found the 
patch of strawberries growing and it looked like that they could 
be picked in a few days. Mewtwo was going to asked Cara how she 
did it and then suddenly remembered that she had a Bulbasaur, an 
Ivysaur and a Venusaur in her and they could do growth. She must 
have done that in order to get all the plants to go so fast. He 
also noticed that some of the plants had been watered. So Mewtwo 
thought that Cara had used one of her Water Pokemon abilities to 
water the plants.

After looking around, Mewtwo said, ["Cara what you did was..."] he 
never finished his sentence, because as he turned around Cara had 
collapsed on the ground.

Pikachu was the first to get to Cara and he said, "Pika, Pika."

Mewtwo listened as he went over, expecting to hear Cara's stomach 
growling was the case when Cara fainted and she used up too much 
energy doing something, only he didn't hear anything. Mewtwo 
kneeled down and noticed how pale she was. Mewtwo had accidentally 
put his hand on Cara's forehead and said ["Cara's forehead is hot, 
she has a fever. Mew I want you to go retrieve Cara's backpack, I 
need a couple items from it."]

Mew nodded and went to get Cara's backpack.

(Author's Note: For this point on you will be able to understand 
what Pikachu and Mew will be saying, because Cara will be 
unconscious until almost the end of this chapter.)

Mewtwo waited until Mew had brought back Cara's backpack and 
listened to as he heard Pikachu as he said <<"Cara, Cara.">>

It was then that Mew came back with the backpack, Mewtwo looked as 
Mew floated the backpack towards them. Mew came up to Mewtwo and 
giggled and said, <<"Here.">> Mewtwo went and was about to open up 
the backpack and noticed that the backpack was a bit lighter than 
before. At first he thought it Mew was causing it, but when it was 
on the ground, he looked at Mew and saw the Mew was puzzled at 
what Mewtwo was doing. It was then that Mewtwo and Mew heard a 
groan coming from Cara.

Mewtwo went over and saw that Pikachu had touched her left arm. 
Mewtwo pulled back the sleeve of her top and saw the biggest, 
reddest, most inflamed sore on her arm. Mewtwo looked at it and 
thought, <"How did Cara get this?"> It was then that Mewtwo 
realized that when Cara had that fight with the deranged TR member 
and they both crashed through the bench and one of them screamed, 
it was Cara. Cara must have gotten a scratch or a small cut and 
somehow got infected. Mewtwo went into the backpack got a couple 
of things out. Mewtwo also noticed that a few of the bottles of 
healing potions were missing, so Mewtwo figured that Cara had 
taken them in order to get were she was with plants.

Mewtwo first sprayed the wound, bandaged it up and then gave her a 
bottle of healing potion and tried to make sure that Cara didn't 
spill any of the liquid as it went down her throat.

It was then that Mewtwo noticed something else. Pikachu turned 
around and put his paws over his eyes as Mewtwo took off Cara's 
top. Mewtwo and Mew both giggled at Pikachu and then Mewtwo said, 
["You don't have to avert your eyes, Cara is wearing a sleeveless 
top underneath the top that she was wearing."] Pikachu turned and 
looked at Cara and saw that she was wearing a lighter colored top 
over the one she was wearing.

Pikachu looked at the sore on Cara's arm and asked, <<"How did 
Cara get this and why didn't she tell us about it?">>

Mewtwo replied, ["Remember when Cara was fighting the last TR 
member and they both crashed and broke that bench and although we 
didn't know who it but we did hear one of them scream. It was more 
than likely that is was Cara who got scratched or a small cut from 
there. As to why Cara didn't tell us, we have to wait until Cara 
regain her conscious and tells us."]

It was then that Mewtwo realized that the bed was too far away 
from the waterfall so Mewtwo teleported the bed to the waterfall 
and put Cara on the bed.

Mew and Mew decided to look at the garden again, so that they 
could relax after what had happened to Cara just a few minutes 
ago. It was then that Pikachu came running in almost screaming on 
the top of his lungs, when Pikachu got to them he was out of 
breath and quickly and fragmentary said, <<"Huff, Cara, huff puff, 
water, puff, out of her. Sigh.">>

Mewtwo kneeled down to Pikachu and said ["Pikachu, I want you to 
take a few deep breathes, slow down, and repeat what you said."]

Pikachu took a few deep breaths and said, <<"I don't know what is 
causing it, but water is coming out of her.">>

Mewtwo was wondering what Pikachu was saying, looked at him and 
said ["You are saying that Cara's mouth is drooling."]

Pikachu shook his head and said <<"No, water is coming out of 
Cara. You have to see what is going on.">>

So Mewtwo and Mew followed Pikachu and saw that water was slowly 
trickling coming out of her hands.

As the trio looked Mew went closer to find out why this was 
happening. As he got closer he noticed that was slowing down. As 
far as he could tell it was something similar to the flare-ups 
that she had, but Mewtwo couldn't stop as with the flare-up. So 
Mewtwo went over to Cara and then noticed that the water had stop. 
So Mewtwo went back and saw that the water started to flow again. 
So Mewtwo went back to Cara and find that the water had stop 
again.

Mewtwo then thought, <"So that is going on. Her fever might be 
causing it and it looks like that we have to take turns staying 
with her so that nothing bad would happen.">

Mewtwo turned to Pikachu and Mew and said ["I looks like that the 
fever is causing some problems and we have to take turns staying 
with her so nothing would happen to her."]

Pikachu then asked <<"What do you mean?">>

Mewtwo replied ["What had happening is not to bad, but if one of 
us is not here one of her other abilities could come up and cause 
some damage."]

Pikachu asked <<"Like what?">>

Mewtwo answered ["Like fire could come from her and burn 
everything and anything down and including herself."]

Pikachu and Mew both nodded their heads.

Mewtwo than said ["I will stay with her, after I have change the 
sheets. And like the bed dry out."]

Pikachu watched in awe as Mewtwo took off the bedding and then 
took Cara aside and let her lay on him.

As Mewtwo thought, he knew that once Cara regains her conscious, 
she would start up where she left off and then she might get sick 
again and the whole thing would start over again. It was then that 
Mewtwo had an idea, but he would have to wait until tomorrow.

Every now and again Mewtwo check the bed to see if it had dried 
off and when it was Mewtwo put the some new dry sheets and laid 
Cara on the bed and laid right next to her.

Later on in the day Pikachu took over for Mewtwo and when it was 
time for everyone to go to sleep Mewtwo and Mew came up and they 
all cuddle up next to her.

The next morning...

Mewtwo had woken up by the noise that Pikachu and Mew were doing 
in the pool of water. The splashing and giggling by both of them 
was not rather loud, but after 5, 10 minutes of it one has to wake 
up.

Mewtwo woke up and looked at Cara. He felt her forehead and it 
still felt hot, so he took a face cloth went over to the pool and 
got it soaking wet, wring it and then went back to Cara and put it 
on her forehead. Mewtwo looked at Pikachu and Mew and replied 
["This is for her fever."] Mewtwo then he went over to the 
backpack and got a couple of things out. He then took off the 
bandage, sprayed the sore on her arm, bandaged it up again and 
then gave her healing potion, making sure none of the liquid 
spilled out.

After Mewtwo had finished, he looked at Pikachu and Mew and said 
["I am going to go away for awhile, I am getting something that 
would help Cara. So until I get back one of you has to stay with 
Cara."]

About an hour or two later...

Mewtwo had came back to 'Mew Island' with three companions when 
they noticed ghostly shapes floating around as Mewtwo looked at 
them he knew that both Pikachu and Mew were not doing their jobs. 
So Mewtwo turned to the trio and said ["I have to do something 
first and then I will get you to where you are needed. It 
shouldn't take me any more than a few minutes."]

The trio nodded.

Mewtwo went through the corridors to get to Cara. As he traveled, 
he noticed that the images were of Cara's past. Some of the 
illusions were so real that he stopped, only to realize what they 
were and continued on. When he got there, he saw that neither 
Pikachu nor Mew were anywhere to be seen.

So Mewtwo went looking about to find either Pikachu or Mew. As he 
got to the where Cara was sleeping he heard something. It was 
Pikachu shouting out <<"Help, Help">> and every now and again 
sending thunder bolts to attract attention. Mewtwo had seen the 
faint thunder bolt as he got close to Pikachu and what he saw he 
didn't like.

Pikachu was in the gaping hole that was left when Ash had done 
when he had freed all the Pokemon. Mewtwo helped Pikachu, after he 
had got rid of some of the grappling arms that Pikachu got caught 
in. Pikachu then said <<"Thank you for getting me out I don't know 
how long I would have lasted.">>

Mewtwo replied ["I am grateful that you were not badly hurt, but 
why did you leave Cara alone for so long?"]

Pikachu said <<"I just wanted to get stretch my legs, so I left 
Cara alone for a few minutes to look around. Only as I got close 
to that hole, it crumbled a bit and I fell in. So what I did was 
kept calling for help and started to throw every few minutes a 
Thunder Shock.">>

Mewtwo then said, ["You better stay with Cara until I bring our 
three guest over and they could help us."]

Mewtwo was about to leave when he realized that Mew was also 
missing, so he turned to Pikachu and asked ["Have you seen Mew 
anywhere?"]

Pikachu shaking his head no.

Mewtwo then said ["After I have got our guest here, I will go 
looking for Mew."]

Pikachu went over to Cara and lay down beside her, as Mewtwo went 
over to his three guests.

As the trio waited for Mewtwo, one of them said "I wonder why 
Mewtwo had brought us over?"

One of the other answered, "I do too."

The third one said, "It is something else that I am wondering 
about. What it is, is what cause those images that floated about?"

The other two nodded in agreement.

It was them that Mewtwo came and took teleport them to the room 
where Cara and Pikachu were staying.

Pikachu look in awe, as three Pokemon were being teleported near 
him and Cara.

One of the Pokemon Pikachu had to look up, as he seemed very small 
to this Pokemon. Pikachu shook his head as he saw a Bulbasaur, a 
Venusaur, and an Squirtle.

Pikachu was impressed which the size of the Venusaur compared to 
himself. Venusaur was over 6 1/2 feet tall compared to his just 
less than 1 1/2 feet tall height. Although Pikachu was more 
comfortable with the Bulbasaur and Squirtle as they were only 
slightly taller than him.

The trio looked at Pikachu and Cara and Venusaur angrily said, 
<<"You brought us her to see a human.">>

Mewtwo calmly replied ["No, I brought you here to finish off what 
she had started."]

Mewtwo then show them the garden that was were stadium was and 
they saw the assortment of the plants and trees.

Venusaur then looked at Mewtwo and said, <<"That human did all 
this.">>

Mewtwo answered, ["Yes, she did during the last few days she has 
been here. And her name is Cara."]

Bulbasaur and Squirtle wondering about Mewtwo had said and then 
Bulbasaur asked <<"You want to finished what Cara had started.">>

Mewtwo nodded.

Squirtle came up to Mewtwo and asked, <<"So why did you bring me 
here?">>

Mewtwo answered ["Those plants and trees need to be watered and 
there hasn't been any rain since we have been here. Although if 
you want you can stay with Cara as I ask Bulbasaur and Venusaur to 
work on the garden and then I look for our missing companion."]

Squirtle nodded and went over to Cara as she slept on the bed.

As Mewtwo asked the two Grass-type Pokemon what he wanted them to 
do, Squirtle looked at Pikachu and then asked, <<"Did Cara make 
those images that we saw earlier?">>

Pikachu answered, <<"Yes, Cara did that and we left her for a few 
minutes the first time water came out of her. I was scared when 
that happened. So that is why one of us has to stay with Cara so 
nothing bad will happen to her.">>

Pikachu saw the look on Squirtle's face and said, <<"Cara can do 
many things and besides Mewtwo will be telling all of you 
everything you need to know.">>

Squirtle went to Cara and saw how pale she looked and asked <<"Why 
is Cara like is?">>

Pikachu answered <<"The reason why Cara is like this is because 
she has a sore on her left arm and didn't do anything and then she 
got sick.">> And showed Squirtle the bandage that covered the sore 
and Pikachu noticed that it wasn't as swollen as he first saw it.

After Mewtwo had finished talking to the two Grass-type Pokemons, 
he went to find Mew.

As Mewtwo looked around as he searched for Mew. He first checked 
outside and then all the rooms to see where he was. It was until 
he got close to the cloning chamber that he heard something weakly 
say, <<"Help, Help.">> And Mewtwo quickly went to the source.

As Mewtwo got to Mew he saw that Mew was all tangled up in the 
mechanical arms and cables that were snarled all over the place. 
Mewtwo saw how tangled he was, so Mewtwo had to be careful in 
getting out Mew.

Mewtwo had to keep his cool as he moved either a cable or arm, 
although it was hard, because as he moved a mechanical arm or 
cable another one would get tangled up. After what felt like an 
eternity Mewtwo finally got Mew out.

Mewtwo angrily shouted ["What were you doing there?"]

Mew meekly replied <<"I was going to help Pikachu, when I got 
caught by in this. I am sorry if I made you angry.">>

Mewtwo realized what he had done and said ["I am not angry at you, 
I was angry at what was happening as I was getting you out."]

Mew breathed a sigh of relief and the two went back to Cara.

It was then that Mewtwo was about to destroy the infernal machine 
only to have Mew asked <<"What are you going to do?">>

Mewtwo answered ["To get rid of this thing, why?"]

Mew replied <<"Isn't is holding up the ceiling where Cara is 
sleeping?">>

Mewtwo looked up and saw that the cloning machine was holding up 
part of the ceiling and he said ["You are right something have to 
been done before this is destroyed."]

After they got back to Cara, Mewtwo then explained everything to 
Bulbasaur, Venusaur, and Squirtle want Cara could do and what had 
happened during their travels with her.

Mewtwo was grateful that Cara chosen the right bed as the 
Bulbasaur and Squirtle were going to stay with Cara as all, but 
Venusaur, were going to sleep with after at night.

The next day...

As it was Mewtwo's turn to stay with Cara, he decided to look at 
the printout that he did when they were back at the compound.

Pikachu went up to Mewtwo and asked <<"What are you doing?">>

Mewtwo looked at Pikachu and said ["I am reading some of Professor 
Sage's notes. I am trying to find out as much as I can to help 
Cara."]

Pikachu looked at Mewtwo and said <<"Reading, what is that?">>

Mewtwo showed Pikachu paper that he was reading to Pikachu and 
said ["This is what I am reading."]

Pikachu looked at the paper and saw a bunch of lines, circles, and 
squiggly lines all over and said <<"So, what does it say and how 
can you read?">>

Mewtwo replied ["I answer the second one first. I can read is 
because I am very highly intelligent. I had built this place and 
that cloning machine all by myself. What I was reading, was that 
Cara had something similar happened to her while she was a 
prisoner with TR"]

Pikachu said <<"Huh!?">>

Mewtwo nodded and read to Pikachu ["It had been a week that since 
we discovered 'The Project' had received a scratch a few days ago 
before that and we didn't think much about it when it happened and 
continued with the exercise. Only if we knew what was going to 
happen we would have treated 'The Project' and would not have this 
problem. 'The Project' wasn't feeling well as she went to do her 
exercise. Also she was, what we believed, not doing her best. 
About half way through the exercise 'The Project' had collapsed, 
but after some incentives 'The Project' continued until she 
fainted. At first we thought she was fooling around, faking it so 
that she can escape. Only when I came to her and felt her 
forehead, I knew that she wasn't faking. 'The Project' had a 
fever. After putting on the Damper and back to her room. I saw 
that the scratch had become inflamed and infected."]

It was then that Mewtwo took a breather and continued reading to 
Pikachu ["After taking care of the infected scratch, we watched 
and waited until 'The Project' regained consciousness which was 
today. Over the next few days the exercise regime will be lessened 
until 'The Project' is at full strength."]

Pikachu then said, <<"So something like this has happened before. 
I wonder what could cause it. Cara seems to be healthy, except 
when she does do much and needs to eat.">>

Mewtwo chuckled, nodded at Pikachu and then said ["I was about to 
get to that. What I am about to read to you is several days later. 
As I knew before that 'The Project' will not get any human 
illness. So I had check I had found out that 'The Project' can get 
any Pokemon illness and if 'The Project' even receive a small 
scratch and it is not taken care of, the exact same thing will 
happen again. So I recommended that after every exercise to make 
sure that there is no scratches on her and to treat them 
immediately if there is any."]

Pikachu gasped at what Mewtwo had told him and said <<"Does it 
explain why Cara had those... those...">> Pikachu couldn't think 
of the word to explain what had happen to Cara, when Mewtwo said 
["mini flare-ups."]

Pikachu had a puzzled look and Mewtwo said ["Well..."] scratching 
his head ["That is the only thing that I could think of, and no it 
doesn't explain about them. I think is because Cara had that 
Damper on her and that stop them."]

It was then that Mewtwo looked outside and than psychically moved 
Cara to the garden and said ["I think it would do Cara some good 
if she get some fresh air and sunlight."]

Pikachu followed Mewtwo as they went to the garden. Mewtwo place 
Cara against the wall and let her rest there.

Bulbasaur went over to Cara and looked at her and asked <<"Why did 
you bring here.">>

Mewtwo sighed and said ["I thought it would be a good idea for 
Cara to get some fresh air and sunshine. Also I put her here 
because the trees are not big enough to hold her up."]

It was than that Venusaur came to Mewtwo and said <<"If you want 
Cara can lie the side of on me.">>

Mewtwo nodded and Venusaur went to a more sunny location and 
Mewtwo put Cara on his side.

About 15 minutes later, Mew came to the garden and went over to 
Cara and noticed something and said <<"Is Cara suppose to breathe 
like this?">>

Mewtwo went over to Cara and heard breathing had become shallower 
and she was wheezing. Mewtwo knew that he had to get Cara back 
inside. It was then that he teleported himself and Cara back to 
her bed. All, but Venusaur, shortly followed Mewtwo and Cara to 
see what had happened to her.

Mewtwo looked and said ["It looks like Cara can only stay outside 
for a few minutes. And we will do it tomorrow.]

All the others nodded in agreement.

The next day...

Mew was with Cara as it was his turn to stay with her, it was then 
that Mewtwo came over and Mew said, <<"Shhh, Cara is asleep and I 
don't think we should disturb her.">>

Mewtwo felt Cara's forehead and he noticed that although she had 
the fever it was cooler to the touch.

Mewtwo then quickly and quietly took off the bandage and sprayed 
the wound, bandaged it up and then gave her a bottle of healing 
potion and this continued for the next few days with the 
occasional outing so Cara can get some sunshine and fresh air.

The next few days...

It was Mewtwo's turn looking after Cara, when she had opened her 
eyes. Mewtwo didn't react to it as it happened before were Cara's 
eyes opened up and the close again. He watched and waited when he 
saw Cara's eyes blink. It was then Cara got up and stretched her 
arms and yawned. Cara looked at Mewtwo and said, "What are you 
doing here?"

Mewtwo answered ["Keeping watch over you, because you had fainted 
and you remained unconscious until now. We had to because if 
nobody did it who knows what would have happened."]

Cara looked at Mewtwo perplexingly and asked, "What do you mean by 
that?"

Mewtwo answered, ["Well, something had happened. Just after you 
had fainted and I had bandaged the sore on your arm, water came 
out of you, actuality it was coming out of your fingers, so we 
found out that if one of us stayed with you it would have not 
happened. Although something happened only once more and illusions 
started showing up."]

It was then that Cara was staring to get up and Mewtwo said ["I 
think you should rest today and get your strength back."]

Cara then said, "I have to finished what I had started."

Mewtwo noticed that Cara was getting dizzy, stopped her and said 
["You don't need to that. I got some help for it. Besides it will 
be a while before you are up to full strength."]

It was then that all but Venusaur came to see Cara.

"Bulba."

"Squirtle."

Cara looked at Bulbasaur and Squirtle, then at Mewtwo, then back 
at them again and then Cara said "You're clones."

Mewtwo was surprised at what Cara had said and asked ["How can you 
tell?"]

Cara chuckled and said, "It is one of my natural abilities, and I 
can tell anything if a Pokemon has any special abilities."

It was then that Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew heard something similar 
coming from her stomach and big sweat drops came down the back of 
their heads. Bulbasaur and Squirtle were puzzled at what they 
heard and Cara replied, "It is just my stomach growling, telling 
me that I am hungry."

Mewtwo nodded and said ["That is true. I will get something for 
you to eat."]

After Cara had eaten, she rested.

Later that day...

As Cara slowly got up, Mewtwo saw her and Cara said "I want to go 
outside the fresh air should do me some good."

Mewtwo came up to Cara and replied ["Let me help you get 
outside."]

As soon as they got outside to the garden, Venusaur said "Saur, 
Saur, Venusaur, Saur, Saur.

Cara answered, "Yes, I would like to lay on you side."

Venusaur was shocked at what Cara had said and Mewtwo replied ["I 
told you what I said about Cara was true."]

As Cara had rested, she had noticed how far the plants have grown. 
The trees were nearly fully-grown and that all of the other plants 
were finished. It was then that Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Pikachu 
had come up to Cara and gave her some berries from some of the 
bushed and vines. Cara steadily eat them.

It was a day or two before that Cara and Bulbasaur, Venusaur and 
Squirtle were going be separating, so over the last few days Cara 
had helped with the Garden. So what Cara did was that she held 
both Bulbasaur's and Venusaur's vines in her hands and with her 
help the garden were finished.

Now that it was complete the only thing that was need was some Bug 
Pokemon to pollinate the flowers on the trees.

It was then that Cara stood in the middle of the garden, close her 
eyes and stood there.

After several minutes Cara opened her eyes and said, "What I had 
done was, I called out for any and all Bug Pokemon and hopefully 
they should be coming soon. I think maybe an hour or so."

In about half an hour or so several Butterfree had came and 
started to pollinate the flowers. As the others watched Cara had 
noticed that on of them had a scarf on it was a bit tattered and 
dirty but you could not mistake it. That Butterfree had a Pokemon 
Trainer.

After the Butterfree had done they're work. Cara thanked them and 
let them go on their way. Cara also asked them if they could 
return to the Island so that the trees should still produce fruit 
and that they could have some of the fruit to eat, so that the 
fruit won't spoil and the trees don't get sick and die and if it 
is possible to get any other Flying Type Pokemon to help as well.

After Mewtwo had came back from taking Bulbasaur, Venusaur, and 
Squirtle to a secret hiding place, he went to Cara and asked ["So 
where are we going?"]

Cara answered, "After the boat is sold, we are going back to 
Pallet Town."

With that Cara, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew got on the boat and went 
to a nearby Port town.

Author Notes:

This is the first time that all the Pokemon were talking, although 
it is not the first time for the two of the Pokemon. If you 
remember that Mewtwo and Mew were talking in Chapter 3, although 
if you remember I didn't tell what they were until Mewtwo and Mew 
caught up with Cara, but I suspect that, if not all, some of you 
knew that they were Pokemon and that they were Mewtwo and Mew. Is 
this the last time you will be able to read them talking? No, not 
by a long shot, there will a translation in other Chapters. As for 
Cara what else could do, you will have to wait until Chapter 11. 
The next Chapter is a bit more history about Cara and Team Rocket.
