Chapter 8: Mew Island. Part 1

As soon as Cara was a fair distance from the Pokemon Center, she 
checked to see if it was clear and she started to run.

Mew then said, "Mew, Mew, mew, Mew, mew, mew." and then Mewtwo 
replied, ["Yes, slow down Cara, so that we can catch up with 
you."]

Cara was, if not as fast as a Rapidash, close to the top cruising 
speed of a Rapidash.

As Mewtwo and Mew saw, they both knew in order to catch up with 
Cara they had to fly as fast as they could to get close to her.

After a while, Mewtwo had noticed that Mew wasn't able to go as 
fast as he could, and Mewtwo then said, ["Hold onto my back and it 
will be a lot easier to catch up to Cara"]

Mew nodded his head and replied, "Mew," and then Mew gently held 
Mewtwo by his shoulders and giggled as Mewtwo tried to stay as 
close to Cara as possible.

About two hours later Cara stopped running, got her breath, and 
said, "I need to rest for a moment or two to catch my breathe. 
Besides, I wanted to put some distance between Team Rocket and 
myself. So I just ran as fast as a Rapidash. Mewtwo, were you and 
Mew were able to keep up with me?"

Mewtwo replied, ["Yes, although at some times I thought that I was 
getting closer, but we were able to keep you in viewing distance. 
Although I was more able to keep up with you than Mew could. So 
after I saw that Mew wasn't able to keep up, I let him stay on my 
back."]

Cara replied, "And I bet Mew loved it going all the way like 
that."

Mewtwo nodded and asked, ["Why did you run?"]

Cara answered, "To get some distance between Team Rocket and 
myself. At least this time I know I was going more or less in the 
same direction, than the last time when I escaped."

Mewtwo thought back and said, ["I want to ask you something. When 
you first escaped from Team Rocket, how fast and how long did you 
run?"]

Cara replied, "I think I was going about 100 miles an hour and I 
ran for about 10 hours."

Mewtwo replied, ["So you think that you ran about 1000 miles, but 
from what we gathered, from the distance between the building you 
escaped from and the burnt tree, for the first couple hours or so 
you must have traveled in a circle. Because Mew and I traveled 
straight from the building and it was more like 600 to 700 miles. 
And as you remember it took us a couple of months to finally catch 
up to you."]

Cara nodded and then said, "What was the first impression you got 
when you finally got to that burnt tree?"

Mewtwo replied, ["I know of several different Pokemon and when I 
smelled your scent I got a messed up picture. Although when I 
really saw you for the first time I was relieved, but I also 
groaned, because I had a different picture of what you might look 
like. Besides we both sensed the Flare-up still coming from you."]

Cara looked at Mewtwo and said, "I was still having the Flare-up 
as I came back to my Father."

Mewtwo replied, ["Oh, yes. Your Flare-ups start sometime before 
you even feel it and last a bit longer afterwards. It starts, 
depending on the type of energy for the Flare-up, about 5 to 10 
minutes before it happens and stays with you afterwards for a 
minute or two."]

Cara let it sink in for a moment, rested, and said, "So what I 
feel is just a small portion of what goes on with me."

Mewtwo and Mew both nodded their heads, and then Mewtwo asked, 
["So when you have the Flare-ups, how do you know when it is going 
to happen?"]

Cara answered, "I get this sort of ache in my sides just before it 
comes. It is very painful and then I have the Flare-up."

Mewtwo nodded at Cara's answer...

After resting for a few minutes, Cara went to Mew and started 
gently rubbing him.

Mewtwo looked at what was going on and asked, ["What are you 
doing?"]

Cara replied, "Giving Mew a massage. With what has happened 
earlier on and the last few days, I thought it would be a good 
idea to give you three a massage."

As Mewtwo watched, he noticed that Mew was getting lower as Cara 
continued the massage. Mewtwo was impressed as she continued the 
massage on Mew, thinking that doing a massage on something that is 
floating might be difficult, Cara seemed to be doing well. 
Although Cara had some trouble as she rubbed Mew's tail. Mew 
giggled as Cara was doing his tail. When Cara was finished, Cara 
took out a large towel and laid it on the sand and made Pikachu 
lay down on it.

As Mewtwo looked, he noticed how Cara was rubbing around Pikachu, 
especially around his electric cheek sacs.

After watching for a while Mewtwo asked, ["When did you learn how 
to..."], then Mewtwo realized what he was asking, lightly banged 
his forehead and Cara chuckled a bit and finished what Mewtwo 
said, "Give a massage to Pokemon? Before I was kidnapped a few 
Pokemon Breeders came to see me, and a few taught me a few tricks 
of the trade that include Pokemon Massage."

After Cara finished Pikachu, she got Mewtwo over and on the towel 
and saw that he was bigger than towel so she got out another towel 
and laid it so that Mewtwo wouldn't be on the sand.

Cara first looked at Mewtwo to see how to give him a massage, then 
after a minute or two, she started. At first he tried to resist, 
but after a while Mewtwo started to relax and let Cara do what she 
was doing. Mewtwo laughed as Cara rubbed up and down his tail.

After Cara was done with Mewtwo, he thought for a moment and said, 
["Can I try to give massage you? It looks like you also need one 
too."]

Cara nodded and said, "I should tell you that you should not press 
too hard, just go nice and easy."

Mewtwo nodded...

As Mewtwo went with the massage, Cara told him that he was 
pressing too hard and was going too fast. After a moment or two 
Mewtwo got the hang of it and when he was finished Cara was almost 
asleep.

After Mewtwo had finished giving Cara her massage, she said, "For 
your first time in doing a massage, you did very well."

Mewtwo replied, ["If I didn't have you to help me, I would have 
more than likely hurt you than helped you."]

Cara slowly got up, bowed her head and said, "I was helping you, 
but I didn't know that I was doing it."

Mewtwo went to Cara, took his fingers under her chin and gently 
lifted her head and said, ["I didn't know that was what you were 
doing, but I can fully understand how strong and subtle that your 
natural born gift can be. Although you still need more self-
control, I am grateful for it right then, for it might have taken 
me some time to do a massage properly."]

Cara chuckled a bit and said; "I guess you are right, although I 
wish that I had better control over it." Then Cara looked at 
Pikachu and said, "Pikachu and the other Pokemon were the first 
Pokemon in a long time to witness my natural born gift that I 
have."

Pikachu nodded and remembered when he first met Cara.

Mewtwo looked at Pikachu and said, ["So what was it like when you 
first felt Cara's natural born gift?"]

Pikachu answered, "Pika, Pika, Pikachu, Pika Pi, Pi Pika, 
Pikachu."

Mewtwo replied, ["So it was something like what I had experienced 
when I was giving Cara a massage."]

Pikachu nodded and said, "Pika."

Cara got up and put everything away and said, "I think that we 
better get going too," Cara paused for a moment and asked, 
"Mewtwo, where are we going to?"

Mewtwo replied, ["I said, in getting away from Team Rocket a good 
place to go to is 'New Island'."]

Cara thought for a few seconds, chuckled a bit, and said, "Maybe 
we should rename the island from 'New Island' to 'Mew Island'."

Mewtwo thought for a moment and said, ["I think that we should. It 
was there that I was created. Also where I almost destroyed the 
planet."]

Mewtwo shuddered at it for a moment and then said, ["When we get 
to the next town or place, I think that it would be a good idea 
that you get a bedroom suite, because I don't have anything for 
you to sleep on or with."]

Cara then asked, "I thought that you had Nurse Joy on 'New 
Island', Oh, I am sorry, I mean, 'Mew Island'."

Mewtwo chuckled a bit and said, ["I did, but I had her under my 
control, so when I allowed her to sleep, she slept on anything, 
but a bed."]

Cara answered, "Oh, the next place I better buy a bed and the 
sheets, pillow, pillow cases and everything else for sleeping."

Mewtwo rose up and said, ["I think we better get going if we are 
going to 'Mew Island'."]

Cara also got up and all of them went on their way.

As soon as Cara got to the next town, she went looking to find a 
place to buy a bedroom suite to purchase. It took some time, but 
in the end she did find one. It was large and comfortable enough, 
so that all of them could sleep on it, and strong enough so that 
it won't collapse with the weight of all of them on it.

It took a few days to get to the town that would get them a boat 
so that they could go to 'Mew Island'. And so far nothing had 
happened yet, but that was going to change.

As they entered the town, Cara had noticed something. As she went 
to find out that it was, they tried to pounce on her, only having 
Mewtwo stop them. As Cara got a good look at the unconscious duo, 
she realized that it was Team Rocket.

Cara looked at Mewtwo and said, "Thanks, I didn't realize that 
they were so close to catching us."

It was then, that they heard something from a distance. Cara and 
Company heard someone shout, "LOOK! THERE THEY ARE!! GET THEM!!!"

Cara turned around to where the sound was coming from and saw 
several more TR members. It was then that Cara used her natural-
born gift to tell Pikachu, Mewtwo and Mew to scatter, and that 
once they got away from TR, to meet at the Pokemon Center.

Pikachu stayed with Cara, and Mewtwo and Mew together went in 
another direction.

Pikachu held onto Cara as tightly as he could as she sped around 
town trying to get away from TR.

As Cara was being chased (she was running slightly faster than 
what a human being could do, so nobody would notice her running) 
around, she thought, <"What are they doing? Are they trying to 
corral me?"> Because every time Cara thought that she could get 
away from one TR member, another one would be waiting for her. So 
Cara saw what was going on and thought, <"From the looks of it 
they are. I have to find some way so that I can get away from 
them."> Then Cara noticed that TR had worked everything out and 
she couldn't turn in any direction as she was coming to a busy 
part of the town. As Cara was trying to find some way to get away 
from the nearby crowded section of the town, Cara thought, <"It 
seems that I have to teleport to get away from them">, only to 
find out that if she stopped, she would be caught. So Cara 
thought, <"So if I can't stop and teleport, I will try to run and 
teleport. Hopefully it will work."> And then she said 
telepathically to Pikachu, ["Hold on tight, Pikachu. I am going to 
do something I haven't done before"] After finding where she could 
teleport, Cara kept on running, and then teleported to it and 
stopped to see the looks on the TR member's faces, and then 
continued to run.

After running for some time, Cara finally made it to the Pokemon 
Center and saw Mewtwo and Mew waiting for her outside a fair 
distance to the side of the Pokemon Center. She also saw that 
Mewtwo had a smug smile on his face and knew that he took care of 
the TR members that were chasing him and Mew.

At a secret location in the Pokemon world...

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

Giovanni picked the Vid-Phone and said, "Hello."

TR member answered, "Boss, I have some good news and bad news. The 
good news is we have found 'The Project'; the bad news is that we 
haven't caught her yet. The reason is that when we almost caught 
her, she teleported while she was running. 'The Project' must be 
doing all sorts of exercises like combining different part of her 
Pokemon powers."

Giovanni said, "I want you and anyone else who is there instead to 
keep watch and I will contact you soon."

Giovanni then hung up the phone, thought for a moment or two, and 
then picked up the Vid-Phone and dialed it.

At another secret location in the Pokemon world...

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

A tall, fairly muscular person picked up the Vid-Phone and said, 
'It is for you, Professor."

Professor Sage went to the Vid-Phone and said, "Well, hello Mr. 
Giovanni, and have you any news on 'The Project'?"

Giovanni sighed and said, "No, she hasn't been caught yet. The 
reason I phoned you is, is it possible that 'The Project' combined 
different Pokemon abilities?"

Professor Sage thought for some time, and said, "I do more than 
believe that it could be possible. We both know that certain 
Pokemon can combine different abilities with something. For 
example certain Fighting-Type Pokemon can do a Fire-Punch, where 
the fist is aflame. Why do you ask?"

Giovanni sighed and said, "The reason is that I and several 
members of TR have seen 'The Project' do it. The latest that she 
has done is her running and teleporting at the same time."

Professor Sage whistled, and said, "Either 'The Project' had some 
practice doing it or she was very lucky if it was her first time 
doing it," Then Professor Sage thought for some and said, "If I am 
not mistaken 'The Project' has some Pokemon traveling with her."

Giovanni answered, "Yes, 'The Project' has a Pikachu, a Mewtwo and 
a Mew traveling with her. Why do you ask?"

Professor Sage answered, "I believe that 'The Project' could also 
combine her abilities with another Pokemon. Although I would 
gather that Mewtwo and Mew wouldn't need it, from the info that 
you gave me about them, but then you or any of your men don't know 
much about Mew and what it can do. Although with the Pikachu that 
is traveling with 'The Project', she could help increase that 
Pikachu's Speed and Electric attacks. You know, it's Agility and 
Quick attacks. It could become stronger that a Raichu. Remember 
'The Project' was at that Pokemon Race at the Big P Corral, and I 
looked at the tape of the last leg of the race, and 'The Project' 
combined with the Rapidash to increase its speed and I believe 
that in that short distance the Rapidash had run at a speed of 160 
- 175 miles an hour," Professor Sage looked  at the expression 
Giovanni had and said, "I know what you are thinking. The top 
speed of a Rapidash is 150 miles an hour, but with combining with 
'The Project' in a short amount of time it could do that. If the 
Rapidash stayed with 'The Project' or vice-versa, the Rapidash 
might be able to cruise at 150 miles an hour and do short 
distances at, maybe, 175 - 200 miles an hour. Although I am just 
guessing at this, because I am using all the information that I 
have received for you and your men and that is not enough."

Giovanni's eyes became as big as saucers (the dinner plate size) 
and replied, I am trying to get 'The Project' back and so far my 
men haven't caught her and the information that I have received is 
all that I have so far. Although I do believe that 'The Project', 
when she somehow connected with me, had left us with something. 
Although it will only work when 'The Project' uses it."

Professor Sage thought for a moment and said, "What do you mean?"

Giovanni trembled a bit, sighed a bit, and said, "Somehow 'The 
Project', briefly, connected with her other ability, you know the 
ability that allows her to mentally communicate to Pokemon, and I 
saw what is like to see through the eyes of Pokemon. I want to 
tell you what I saw was too frightening to describe."

Professor Sage said, "So, 'The Project' still has it. So from the 
looks of it, it seems that 'The Project' has gotten stronger. The 
thing is, was it because of the operation or does it become 
stronger with time?"

Giovanni replied, "I can't answer you on that one. Only if there 
was somebody who knew more about it?"

Giovanni shrugged his shoulders and said, "I will give you any 
information as soon as I get it."

Before Giovanni hung up the Vid-Phone, Professor Sage asked, "I 
just wanted to know, if you have told everyone about 'The 
Project'?"

Giovanni answered "I have told everyone but three of my members, 
about it."

Professor Sage scratched his head and then said, "Oh, those three, 
even if they could get close to catching 'The Project', the best 
thing for you to do is to fire them, once and if they get out of 
the hospital."

Somewhere else in the Pokemon World a certain trio sneezes...

Cara went up to Mewtwo and Mew and asked, "So how did you escape 
from TR?"

Mewtwo chuckled and said, ["I gave them the option of either 
staying in a hospital for a very long time or to stay healthy, but 
those two decided to try to catch me and now they are staying in a 
hospital. So how did you escape?"

Cara sighed a small mushroom cloud and told them what had 
happened.

(Most, if not all, of the TR members are smarter than Jessie, 
James, and Meowth, but it doesn't mean that they use their 
brains.)

As two TR members were waiting for Giovanni's orders, they were 
figuring out what to do.

TR member #1 said, "Now, where do you think 'The Project' would 
go? There is nothing out here that could help her."

TR member #2 answered with a question, "Doesn't 'The Project' have 
three Pokemon traveling with her?"

TR member #1 answered, "So what does that have to do with it?"

TR member #2 replied, "So what does any person traveling with any 
Pokemon do?"

TR member #1 thought for some time, and then he realized, and his 
partner said together with him, "They go to a Pokemon Center."

TR member #1 said, "So, 'The Project must have gotten registered 
some time after she got that Pikachu, so she can have a place to 
stay."

TR member #2 nodded his head in agreement...

The duo first found out where the Pokemon Center was; and then, 
from what they thought was a safe distance from the Pokemon 
Center, they watched it with a pair of binoculars.

As Cara was about to go and enter the Pokemon Center, Mewtwo 
stopped her, and said, ["I don't think that we should go in. I 
believe that there is somebody watching for us to go in."]

Cara then asked, "Why do you believe that the Pokemon Center is 
being watched for us?"

Mewtwo replied. ["I thought I saw the glint of binoculars 
somewhere over there."]

Cara went and looked in the general direction that Mewtwo was 
pointing, and then Cara replied, "I am not able to see if it is TR 
or not, but I can find out another way."

Mewtwo and the others were wondering what Cara was talking about, 
and then they saw Cara pointing to a flock of Pidgeys nearby. A 
few of them went towards the duo and a few went other directions 
so that the TR members wouldn't figure out what was going on. 
After a couple of minutes Cara and the others knew that the 
Pokemon Center was being watched to see when Cara and the others 
would go in the Pokemon Center.

Cara then said, "Now that we know that there are two of TR are 
watching the Pokemon Center for us, here is what we are going to 
do. Pikachu and Mew, I want you to go into the Pokemon Center and 
do what I tell you, when I give the signal, while Mewtwo and I 
will deal with them, O.K.?"

Mewtwo thought for a moment and said, ["How are we going to deal 
with them - because if we go out we will be seen?"]

Cara replied. "I might have done this, if you didn't stop Cassidy 
&amp; Butch, I might had done something like this."

And in an instant, all the Pidgeys and several other flying 
Pokemon all were flying in the direction of the two TR members. 
Pikachu and Mew went in the Pokemon Center and Cara and Mewtwo 
went behind the duo.

The two TR members screamed as the Flying Pokemon went past them. 
After it was all clear one of the TR members went and dusted off 
the binoculars and said, "I wonder what caused that to happen?"

Then the TR member looked through the binoculars and said, "Ah, I 
can see that Pikachu and Mew are in the Pokemon Center, it 
shouldn't be long before 'The Project' and Mewtwo are going in the 
Pokemon Center."

He looked again and said "Huh?"

TR member #2 said, "What is going on?"

TR #1 rubbed his eyes and looked again though the binoculars and 
said, "I don't believe it. The Pikachu is looking at me and 
waving. And I know that he can't see me."

TR #2 shook his head at what his partner said and said, "Gimme 
those and I will take a look."

TR #2 quickly grabbed the binoculars, almost choking his partner 
with the binocular strap, and looked through them and blinked.

TR #1 saw the expression on his partner's face and said, "What is 
it?"

TR #2 answered. "You were right, Pikachu is waving at us and that 
Mew is doing it too."

Several feet away from those two, two other companions were 
watching and quietly giggling at the scene that was happening 
before them and one of them was amazed at what the other was 
doing.

It was then that TR #2 looked at Pikachu and Mew again and said, 
"I don't understand what is going on. They are both pointing to 
us. Like they want us to look behind us."

TR #1 grabbed the binoculars and looked through them, and said, 
"It seems that they do want us to look what is behind us."

The two thought for a moment and then turned their head and saw 
Mewtwo and Cara standing behind them.

Both of TR screamed as they fully realized who was behind them and 
they tried to get away from them only to have their legs not 
working because of sheer fright.

Cara looked at the helpless two and gave them a much milder 
treatment than the other TR members had received. (Although they 
still ended up in the hospital. They didn't stay in as long as the 
others.)

"Tell Giovanni to stop going after me or he will be sorry." Cara 
told the duo as they were being sent into the stratosphere.

Cara and Mewtwo were laughing as they were going to the Pokemon 
Center, Mewtwo looked at her and asked, ["Since when could you 
communicate with Pokemon at a great distance?"]

Cara answered, "Since I can remember. Distance has never been a 
problem with my natural born gift. I can remember getting a 
Pokemon to come to me over a couple of miles. Although I don't 
know the true distance of how far I can call Pokemon. Maybe we can 
find out how far."

Mewtwo was amazed at that and nodded at her.

As Cara and Mewtwo entered the Pokemon Center, Pikachu came 
running up and jumped into Cara's arms. Cara also dropped Pikachu, 
because he came up to her so fast. Mew went up to Cara and 
snuggled up to her.

After rubbing their heads and petting them, Cara said. "Thank you, 
for what you did for me."

Pikachu and Mew then snuggled up to her more.

It was than Nurse Joy came up to the desk and said, "Hi, what can 
I do for you?"

Cara answered, "I am wondering if my delivery has come here yet? I 
bought some items at another town and told them to deliver it 
right here, and then I phoned here to tell you about it. Also 
where can I buy or rent a boat so that I can transport my delivery 
when it gets here?"

Nurse Joy looked and said, "I am afraid that your bedroom suite 
won't be delivered until either tomorrow or the day after. You 
could try looking at the harbor and see if there is any boats to 
rent or buy or ask the Harbor Master and see if she can help."

Cara replied, "That is O.K. I have no place to go to at the moment 
I can wait a day or two."

Later that day...

Cara decided to look around; as it would be some time before her 
bedroom suite would be delivered. As she was looking around she 
saw something and wondered about something.

When Cara got back to the Pokemon Center, she went and got Mewtwo, 
went to the sleeping quarters and made sure that nobody was 
around, and then she asked Mewtwo, "What else doesn't 'Mew Island' 
have?'

Mewtwo replied, ["I can't think of what else that Island doesn't 
have other than there are no plants on the Island. Although I 
think maybe there might be something growing there now, but I am 
not sure."]

Cara chuckled and said "It has been a long time since you have 
been on that Island, and who knows what is growing on it."

Mewtwo than asked, ["Why do you ask?"]

Cara answered, "Oh, I am just wondering about the Island."

Mewtwo was starting to know about Cara and he thought Cara was up 
to something, and also knew that if she was going to do something 
and if she didn't want them to know, she would make sure that they 
wouldn't find out until she was ready.

Cara immediately went out of the Pokemon Center and went to a 
shop. She asked about some things and told the shopkeeper that she 
would be coming in a day or two. The shopkeeper told her to have a 
good day.

Then Cara went to the harbor and went to look for a boat that was 
big enough for everything that Cara had or was going to buy.

It took some time but Cara found the right boat and she bought it 
and tried it out. After a few false starts Cara finally got the 
hang of it, especially after getting thrown out a couple times.

The second time Cara got thrown the Harbor Master brought Cara to 
her room on the harbor. The Harbor Master brought Cara a blanket 
and a hot drink and asked, "Do you need some help in using a 
boat?"

Cara nodded her in a negative manner as she read the Harbor Master 
mind and said, "I seem to have a knack for learning things. After 
I had dried off I will try again. I am grateful that the boat 
stops after I got thrown or that boat would have caused some 
damage."

The Harbor Master was also grateful that the throttle goes back to 
the stop position after the hand is released and that Cara had 
someone on the boat as well to stop the boat.

Meanwhile back at Giovanni's office...

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

"Ring, Ring, Ring, Phone Call, Phone Call."

Giovanni picked up the Vid-Phone and said, "Hello, what do you 
have to report?"

The TR member was surprised at what he said, shook his head, and 
answered, "I have some more bad news for you Boss. Two more of TR 
is in the hospital. Although, on a lighter note, they are not 
going to be in the hospital long. 'The Project' didn't hurt them 
as much as the others."

Giovanni groaned and said, "I told the TR members to just watch 
'The Project', not to try to capture it."

The TR member replied, "That's what they did. They were looking 
out for her, at what they thought was a safe distance, at a 
Pokemon Center. Only 'The Project' and Mewtwo caught them by 
surprise, and that's how they ended up in the hospital. The one 
thing is that when the Pikachu and Mew went into the Pokemon 
Center, they both waved at the two and then pointed to them to 
look behind, to see 'The Project and Mewtwo behind them. Why is 
that?"

Giovanni almost lost his temper, took a couple of breaths and 
answered "Had you forgotten that 'The Project' could and can 
communicate mentally to Pokemon? That is why I had her captured in 
the first place. Only I realized that she might be ideal for 'The 
Project'."

The TR member said, "I am sorry, I didn't know about that. Do you 
want me to tell other TR members in the area about that?"

Giovanni replied, "Yes, and I will tell everyone else, except for 
Jessie, James, and Meowth. Those fools don't need to know, and I 
will tell and show you in detail what she can do with her other 
abilities."

It was then Giovanni pushed a few buttons and the video record of 
what was she was able to do was shown to the TR member and then 
Giovanni told him what had happened with Cara, but he left out a 
lot of the details to him.

Giovanni thought for a moment and asked, "Why were those men 
looking for her at the Pokemon Center?"

TR member answered, "Those two thought that would be a good place, 
since she does have Pokemon with her. Besides, where would anybody 
go if they are traveling and have Pokemon with them?"

Giovanni nodded at the question his team member had answered and 
then said, "I want you to capture 'The Project' once more, and 
after that don't do anything until there is a better way of 
catching 'The Project', understood?"

The TR member nodded his head and relayed the message to the other 
TR members in the area about what Cara could do.

Meanwhile back at town where Cara was staying...

Cara went back to the store and found out the things that she 
needed, bought what she needed, and told the shopkeeper that she 
would pick them up in a day or so.

Cara then went to the Pokemon Center and waited for her bedroom 
suite to come.

Cara was grateful that TR hadn't tried anything to get her, until 
she got her bedroom suite.

Two days later...

Cara was finally was able to go to 'Mewtwo Island', now that her 
bedroom suite had arrived. Cara looked carefully and made sure 
that she got everything. Luckily that everything was disassembled 
and put into boxes, so that Cara could put it on the boat and put 
them together on "Mew Island'. She then looked for somebody to 
help her get everything on the boat.

Once Cara found someone, she got them to put her bedroom suite on 
the boat, while she got her items at the store.

It took Cara some time to get her parcel at the store.

After Cara got back, she was pulling a large box on a wagon, and 
she also saw that everything was in the boat.

It was then that Cara noticed something. There were not many 
people around as before. It was then that someone tried to jump 
her. Only Cara psychically threw him the water. Another one tried 
to charge her only to grab air as Cara went up and floated in the 
air. It was than that a TR member tried to throw a Pokeball at 
Cara, The TR who threw the Pokeball was surprised when the 
Pokeball hit him in the face. He then looked and saw Mewtwo 
glaring at him. Although that TR member's legs did work, it was 
too late, and as he found out, that he was in the water as well.

It was then that Cara floated on down, so that she could fight the 
other TR members as well.

It was also then that Cara heard Mew mewing; she looked at Mew and 
saw 2 TR members trying to catch him. As either of the TR members 
got close to Mew, he either teleported a few feet away or would 
dart away from them and mewed as he got away. Mew also giggled at 
the antic of the 2 TR members trying to catch him.

Cara also giggled at the sight and then decided to help Mew; for 
the next thing, the 2 TR members found out that they were also in 
the water.

Mew then said, "Mew, mew, Mew, Mew, Mew, Mew."

Cara replied, "I wanted to put them out of their misery, not ours. 
Although it was fun watching them try to catch you."

Mew nodded his head and said, "Mew." and giggled.

Cara also giggled...

Because Cara was distracted, finally a TR member grabbed her, only 
to have flames come up and to be punched in the chest, and then he 
let her go. Cara gave a few more punches and that TR member was in 
la-la land.

It was than that Mewtwo had an idea. Cara noticed a glow around 
the still unconscious TR member, and then she saw him disappear. 
Then Mewtwo said, ["I just teleported him to the field outside 
this town."] Cara nodding agreed with him, knowing how far the 
field was.

By the time that TR member regained his consciousness and got 
back, Cara would have been maybe halfway to the Island.

It was then that Cara heard a couple of TR members screaming. She 
looked and saw Pikachu giving them his Thunder Shock attack. She 
also noticed that Pikachu wasn't going at full strength. Because 
the two TR members were dazed, they didn't notice that they had 
been teleported until it was too late and found themselves in a 
field next to their unconscious TR member.

Another TR member tried to give a punch to Cara only to hit, what 
he felt, was a brick wall.  Cara saw that he was coming and knew 
that she couldn't stop him. So she turned her body into one of the 
Rock-Type Pokemon. Cara winced as she heard him hit her body and 
the resulting sound of the cracks and pops of bones, muscle, and 
tendons being broken and torn. He'd screamed at the results of his 
broken and open wounded hand. The next thing the TR member saw was 
that he was in the water as Cara had thrown him bodily in the 
water and heard him scream, ever louder, as the salt water went 
into the open wounds on his hand.

Several minutes later...

Cara, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew were resting at their thought that 
they gotten rid of all of the TR members. Cara was resting against 
a rail on the dock. Pikachu and Mewtwo were resting on the floor 
of the dock. As for Mew, he was resting above the dock. The TR 
members were either teleported away or were thrown, one way or 
another, into the water. Only that was to be proven to be a 
mistake.

It was then that Cara heard a scream as a lone TR member was 
charging toward her. As he grabbed her, Cara bust into flames so 
that he would let her go. Only he didn't. Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew 
were trying to figure out how to deal with the TR member; only 
because he had a hold of Cara they couldn't do anything, because 
if they attack him, they could hurt her. Cara then thought, 
<"Either he has something that is fire-proof or he is crazy. I 
have to think of something, so that he'll let go of me."> Because 
he had a strong grip around her arms she couldn't do anything with 
them, although her legs were free. Again Cara thought, <"That's 
it, I know what I can do."> Cara drove her knee onto the most 
sensitive part of the male anatomy. He let go, and then Cara let 
the flames die down. She then saw the look in his eyes, he was 
crazy. Something in his mind snapped. He charged at her once 
again. Cara tried to get away only to get caught again, only this 
time they both went toward a bench and in the scuffle both of them 
broke the bench. Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew heard a shout, but 
didn't know from whom it came. It was then that the TR member was 
floating a few inches in the air and then he was slowly dropped, 
and Cara went over to him to look at him and then teleported him 
away.

Cara collapsed, and said, "I wiped out all of his memory and 
teleported him to the Police Station - hopefully they can help 
him. Come on, let's go to 'Mew Island' and get away from this."

Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew all agreed...

As Cara was on the boat and was getting ready to leave the Harbor 
and go to 'Mew Island', she slowly rubbed her left forearm, 
started the boat and proceeded to the Island, and she then said, 
"Next stop, 'Mew Island'."

Author Notes:

What had happened to Cara's arm and what will happen to her? Also 
what was in the box that she bought? You have to read the next 
chapter to find out in part 2 of this episode.

If you want to know, yes, this is the first time that Cara had 
used Amnesia on somebody, and no it will not be the last, but that 
is a long time coming.

Also you may have noticed that this was a little more violent than 
the other chapters. It is because Cara is slowly being pushed over 
the edge. The next chapter is going to deal about something about 
her past. Something Cara was grateful for. What it is, would be 
telling. So you have to wait.
