Note: This Chapter starts almost at the same time as Chapter 1 and continues to the end of Chapter 2 and beyond. So if you want to know who or what Cara has seen at the end of Chapter 2, you will have to wait and read on.

Chapter 3: Two New Friends
As the two companions were going to part their ways, one of them said, "I am going to miss you, friend, I hope to see you soon."
The friend replied, "So will I, but I want to see the world by myself."
All of a sudden the two had felt something.
Companion #1 replied, "Did you feel that?"
Companion #2 answered, "Yes, I did. What could have done something like that?"
Companion #1 said, "I don't know, but we better find out what caused it and see if it needs our help. If not, put it out of its misery."
Companion #2 nodded his head.
The two traveled as fast as they could. It took them a day to get there and what they saw were a lot of people transporting a lot of stuff from the building into Jeeps and vans.
Companion #1 also saw something else. The people had a big R on their tops. He grumbled a bit and said, "It is best that we keep a low profile, those people from Team Rocket."
Companion #2 looked at his friend confusedly, and asked, "Why should we do that?"
Companion #1 answered, "Team Rocket steals rare and unusual Pokemon. More than likely they had created something and it just escaped." and he pointed to the hole in the wall.
At that moment the two companions had felt that surge of energy that they felt yesterday, only it was not as strong as before.
Companion #1 looked back and said, "Whatever it is, it is in that direction. We better find it before they do."
Companion #2 looked at him and nodded.
It took them a while to get where the power surge was and they found a partially burnt tree.
Companion #2 said, "This is where the creature was and here is its scent and what a strange scent it is."
Companion #1 came up to the place and inhaled the scent, although his sense of smell wasn't as strong as his friend, he could tell that the creature did have a strange scent although some of the scents were familiar.
Companion #1 then said, "Did you notice that the scent left by this creature was familiar like several different Pokemon in one."
Companion #2 nodded his head and said, "Yes, I recognize among the several different scents that are there that there is your scent in it as well as mine."
Companion #1 then thought, <"What could have they been doing to create a creature like that."> And then he said, "We should get going and find it pretty soon."
Companion #1 tried to think what the creature might look like. He shook his head at the image.
As they continued searching for whatever escape they could find from that compound, they hoped that they could find it soon.
Two weeks later...
"Arrgh," screamed Companion #1, as he found it frustrating trying to find the creature.
Companion #2 giggled at his friend.
Since the two have been together, Companion #1 has calmed down a bit. Although he still loses his cool...
Companion #1 screamed at his friend, "WHAT DO YOU FIND SO FUNNY?"
Companion #2 answered, "The way you use lose your temper. Besides sooner or later we will catch up with that creature. So far it has given off 4 power surges since we decided to find it. The first two were within a day of each other and the 3rd and 4th were about week apart. So we know if we are getting close."
Companion #1 said, "So this creature keeps having these power surges and we have found a pattern and then we will catch up to it."
Companion #2 nodded his head and said, "I think that the best thing that could help us is a map."
As they were near a town, they waited until it got dark, found a store and took a map and then fled.
Companion #1 said, "You know what we did was stealing, but under the circumstances it is the only thing we can do, besides this is the only way to find out what direction it is going."
As they looked at the map they decided to go to the next town and see if they had caught up with it, only to find out they just missed it by a day. They also realized that a Pikachu was traveling with it.
The two friends were looking at the map and Companion #1 said, "Instead of going to the next town, we go to the one after it, and hopefully we will catch whatever it is."
Companion #2 nodded his head.
They tried it a few more times, and either they had missed Cara by hours or a day.
So the two looked at the map and then settled for the town that was at a crossroads of mountains, forests and prairies. They had both hoped that they would find that creature.
As they were going towards the town, the two companion felt something, but they didn't know what. They tried to look for whatever it was, but because of the dense bushes they could not find it. So they decided to find a place, so if the creature came, hopefully see if they could help it.
They found a place and both went to sleep...
At their vantage point they could see into the town and hopefully find out what the creature looked like.
Then they saw a Jeep coming up...
As they both looked on, they saw two people getting out of a Jeep and started to look around. Because Cara's hometown didn't get many people that drove into town, they drew a fair amount of people.
TR male said in a husky voice, "What a dump. Are you sure that she would be here?"
TR female nodded her head and answered, "Sure she lived here before she was taken to stay with us, so why wouldn't she come here. We better get ready and say our motto."
The male nodded.
The two both took their stance and said...
"For trouble and."
"Make it double."
"To infect the world with devastation,"
"To blight all peoples in every nation,"
"To denounce the goodness of truth and love,"
"To extend our wrath to the stars above,"
"Cassidy,"
"Butch,"
"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth. All day and night,"
"Surrender to us now, or you will surely lose the fight!"
"That's right!"
"RATICATE!"
Butch then asked Cassidy, "Do you have it?"
Cassidy produce a Pokeball, gave it a little spin, and replied, "I have it right here."
What they had in that Pokeball was a Drowzee. If they were quick enough they could had gotten Cara right there.
Butch shouted at the people, "WHERE IS SHE?"
The townsfolk didn't know what they were talking about and also only Cara's parents had seen her, so they shook their heads in confusion.
The two companions looked at each other knowing who they were, and knew that to do.
At that very moment they both felt the power surge...
Companion #1 looked at his friend and said, "Finally we have caught up with it. Now we have to get rid of those two. You know what to do. I take the Guy, you take the Gal."
Companion #2 nodded his head.
Then Cassidy saw Cara's Father, and pointed to him and said, "Where is your daughter?"
Companion #1 said, "Huh. What are they talking about?"
Cara's Father thought, <"They don't even use her name."> And replied, "Cara, isn't here." and pointed to the ground and thought again, <"Beside I know where she is, but I won't tell where she is to the likes of you.">
What Cara's Father was telling was the truth. Cara wasn't here. She was in the vicinity, but not right next to her Father.
Companion #1 said, "We better do it now, before it is too late."
Companion #2 again nodded his head.
As Butch was coming towards Cara's Father, he all of a sudden stopped, turned towards Cassidy, and said in a monotone voice, "She isn't here. We better get going."
Cassidy looked at Butch and said angrily, "She isn't here, she has to..." Cassidy stopped in mid-sentence, and then said in the same tone of voice that Butch had, "You are right, she isn't here, Bye everyone." Butch and Cassidy waved good-bye, got into the Jeep, and took off.
Cara breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Butch and Cassidy were leaving.
As the two friends dealt with Butch and Cassidy, Cara also noticed the two TR members and hid in the bushes and was wondering what to do, when she saw them leave. If they had stayed any longer Cara might have done something to get rid of them. If they had stayed any longer Cara might have used her natural born gift to make it look like she was somewhere else.
Pikachu had also noticed the Jeep coming, and he also hid... so that they wouldn't be 100 percent sure if Cara was there.
After they had left, Cara and Pikachu came out of their hiding spots and went over to her Father.
Companion #1 looked at Cara, groaned, and said, "That is what we have been looking for? Why would TR do something like that? We better go over and help her. Well it is better than what I had imaged. Now I know what they were talking about."
Companion #2 giggled at the fact what they were looking for was a human being and said, "Yes, it is her - you can still feel some of the energy of the power surge that she just had."
Companion #1 nodded his head, and the two went over to Cara.
When Cara got to her Father, she felt something powerful, turned around and saw them, and then collapsed.
Cara got slowly up with her Father's help and asked, "How long have you been looking for me?"
Companion #1 answered, "For about 2 months."
Cara then asked, "What made you look for me?"
Companion #1 answered, "The power surge that you give off."
Cara then asked, "What was the first thing that you saw?"
Companion #1 answered, "A building with a hole in the wall and people moving out from it."
Pikachu saw the two and started to power up his electric sacs.
Cara motioned to Pikachu, and said, "They will not hurt me. In fact they could possible help me. Besides I don't think that you could win a battle against either of them."
Cara saw that the her Father and Pikachu were confused, and then looked at her Father and said, "Dad, Pikachu, meet Mew and Mewtwo."
As Cara's Father looked at the two, he pointed at one and said, "This is a Mew." And pointed at the other and said, "And that is a Mewtwo. Is Mewtwo an evolved form of the Mew?"
Cara shook her head as a large sweat drop came down and said, "You are pointing to the wrong Pokemon." She pointed to Mew and said, "That is a Mew." And then pointed to Mewtwo and said, "And that is a Mewtwo and Mewtwo is not a evolved form of a Mew, it is a genetically engineered, enhanced clone of a Mew. He is possibly the strongest Pokemon around."
Cara's Father confusion was with what just what happened, and he wanted to point to Mew and instead pointed to the Mewtwo, and did the same in reverse with Mewtwo as well.
Then Pikachu spoke up and Mewtwo asked, ["What do you mean that the picture doesn't do Mew justice?"]
Cara answered, "I have a unique ability with Pokemon and I showed him the stone picture of Mew. Since nobody had ever seen a Mew for a long time." Then Cara showed Mewtwo what she had seen.
Mewtwo was shocked at it and then replied, ["You are right - that doesn't do justice for him."] And then he remembered that he had seen the stone pic before and had forgotten about it, and laughed and said, ["Now that I think of it, I had seen it before... and how long have you had this gift?"]
Cara replied, "I had this natural born gift since I was 3 or 4 years old, but I could have had it before that."
At that moment... Cara's stomach growled...
Cara, Pikachu, Mew, Mewtwo, and her Father had a sweat drops come down and her Father replied, "Oh no not again. You are going to eat us out of house and home if this keeps up."
Cara answered, "Not if I can help it."
Mewtwo then asked, ["Where is your place?"]
Cara's Father pointed to the house and in an instant they were in the house.
As Cara stomach growled, Cara's Mother sighed a mushroom cloud, as she was getting some food ready.
Then Cara gave a hand signal to her Father and for a moment he didn't know what it meant, and then he realized what it meant, and then opened the door.
Almost as soon the door was opened, all sorts of Pokemon were coming in bringing all sorts of food.
Cara's Father went over to Mew and Mewtwo, and whispered to them and then in a few minutes a Pokemon waved to them and left.
Mew and Mewtwo looked at each other and then Mewtwo asked, ["You could do something like that. What was that hand signal that you did?"]
Cara nodded and answered, "Yes, when I found out about my natural born gift, I could do other interesting tricks with Pokemon. It was after that my Father and I had developed some hand signals so that my parents would know what as going on. If you want I could teach them to you, if you want."
Mewtwo nodded his head.
After having a full meal Cara felt better, looked at her Father and asked, "Why are you not too surprised when Mew and Mewtwo came."
Her Father replied, "With all the craziness that has happen yesterday and today. Seeing them so not too surprising."
After a moment her Father asked, "Does that happen all the time when you have a flare-up?"
Cara responded, "No, only when I have the last one. Although I have found out that I need more food in order to keep up my health. Just after a day or so I had nearly fainted at someone's place and when I got to a nice couple's home I had fainted. If they didn't help me I might not have gotten here."
After Cara looked in her backpack she had found what she was looking for and said, "I got this cape at the guy's place." and then she pointed to the water bottle and said, "And the water bottle. The rest of the stuff I got from the nice couple."
Mewtwo came over to Cara and asked, ["How were you able to have those, what you called, flare-ups?"]
Cara looked at him and said, "In a way you and I are the same. Somebody made us. The only difference is I had operations instead of being genetically created and altered."
Then Cara's Mother replied, "You have not told us much about those operations."
Cara answered, "For a while I was put under for that Professor when he did the operation, but one of the operations I was not put under, because he had to insert a Pokeseed into my brain."
Her parents winced at that statement...
Cara continued on and said, "It was when I had to have an Abra put into me. The Professor drilled a hole in the top of my skull and inserted the Pokeseed into my brain. I was paralyzed throughout the whole operation."
Cara's Father asked, "Didn't that hurt you - and how big are those Pokeseeds?"
Cara replied, "No, I didn't feel anything. I was paralyzed during that operation. Giovanni was also in there, watching the operation and had asked if I needed to be asleep for the other operations, and he answered no - I could stay awake for most of the other operations. Although after the operation when the paralyzing effects wore off, I would feel the effects of the operation, especially the pain. From that time on, I had been awake for most of the other operations. The Pokeseeds are no bigger than 3/8 inch at thickest point, and 5/8 inch long, and was what looked like silver." Then Cara drew what the Pokeseeds looked like - and it looked like this... ().
Her Father whistled at that and said, "It is no bigger than a small plant seed."
Cara answered, "That is why he had called them Pokeseeds. They contain what makes a Pokemon a Pokemon, including both of you too. Both Mew and Mewtwo. He made the Pokeseed containing a Mew using the fossil found that made you, and when you were created he did the same thing."
Cara's Mother then asked, "So what is number of the operation when they put that Abra in?"
Cara answered, "That was, I believe, the 9th operation done on me."
Cara's Father was trying to figure out what she was saying and asked, "How many Pokemon were put into you and how far apart were the operations?"
Cara answered, "89 Pokemon were put into me and it was about two months between the operations."
Her Father thought for a moment and then said, "The length to complete all 89 operations would take 14 years and 10 months. You were taken at the age of 10 and you would be..." Cara's Mother interrupted, "25 years old tomorrow."
Pikachu, Mew, and Mewtwo looked at Cara in total disbelief and then Mewtwo asked, ["You are going to be 25 years old?"]
Cara nodded her head and replied, "I think why I looked so young is that you can't tell how old Pokemon are. Look at Mew, how old is he? One of the side-effects of the operations."
The three Pokemon nodded their heads.
Why Pikachu, Mew, and Mewtwo were in shock is because Cara looked like she was in her late teens or early twenties.
Then Mewtwo asked, ["What are the other side-effects?"]
Cara replied, "One;" pointing to her cheeks and her back. "I got the markings of a Pikachu, here and here." and then pointing to her hair, "I have tiny streaks and flecks of different colors in my hair from the other furred and feathered Pokemon. Two; even when I don't use my Pokemon Gift. I am a lot stronger, faster, and more agile then any human being. And Three; shortly after the first operation, I haven't cried any tears. The other thing is I have kept my emotions in balance, for if I get too angry, sad, or something else I lose control. A good example was when I got back here, my parents asked me a lot of questions, and I got angry and burst into flames. Because my Father didn't know about my Pokemon gift, he threw a bucket of water on me."
Mew giggled at that...
Then after what Mewtwo had asked Cara, what her Mother had said finally sank in, and briefly Cara started to shake and said, "If I had stayed at that compound and never escaped, tomorrow I would had never escaped. They were going to do two operations. The first one to stop the flare-ups and give me control of it, and the second one to make me a slave to Team Rocket."
Then Mewtwo asked, ["Where were these Pokeseeds put?"]
Cara answered, "In the case with you two, the Pokeseeds were put into my brain. With other Pokemon it depended on how they used their abilities. A Pokeseed of Pikachu and Raichu was put into my cheeks, A Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur was put in my back."
Her Father then quipped and said, "So the order of the operation was done like this Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander..." Cara interrupted, "No, it was done like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and so on. The Scientist that had done the operations, started with the Pokemon that had three evolutions, and started with the low level Pokemon, then proceeded with the mid-level, and then the final evolution, and then after that he was done, he started with the Pokemon with two evolutions, and finished with Pokemon with no evolution. Finishing off with you two."
Cara told them during the better part of the day and well into the night where the Pokeseeds where put and the order that they were put in. Also Cara told them about the people she had met, and what they did for her. Also during the conversation, Cara's father asked Mew if he could sit down or something. Because Cara's Father found it a bit unnerving have Mew just floating in the air. After a while Cara told Mew and Mewtwo, if anyone asks her about them, that they were her pets, because she is going on a personal Pokemon journey. Although Mewtwo didn't like it, but in the end, he agreed.
For the first time, since Cara had escaped, she didn't have a bad dream about what happened to her.
The next morning...
After breakfast was finished Mewtwo asked, ["So, how come you know a lot about me?"]
Cara replied, "One thing about Giovanni, if he like or hates something a great deal he will talk about and he couldn't stop talking about you. Of course when you were being used, my exercises weren't as intense; of course, once you had escaped my exercises had increased as well. Giovanni also wanted to step up the operations, but the scientist said that might do more harm than good."
Her Father heard the conversation and said, "I am more worried about how we are going to pay for all this. If this keeps up we could be out of money in a few months."
Cara pondered for a moment and then saw something outside through the window.
Cara said, "I think I know a way where we can get some money." She bolted out of the house and started to run.
Cara's Father and Mewtwo followed her, followed by Pikachu, Mew, and her Mother.
After a moment Cara's Father said, "Hold up, we want to catch up to you."
Cara realized that she was going a little bit too fast for them, and slowed down her pace. Although she still had some trouble running like a human and tripped a few times.
After several minutes, Cara came to a growth of vegetation and pushed it aside and crawled into an opening. After they had gotten in, Cara lit up and the cave sparkled, for the cave was covered in all sorts of stone and gems.
Everyone in the cave was in awe at the astonishing sight that was in the cave. Cara then said, "Before I was kidnapped, I discovered this cave after when a Zubat got caught in vegetation. The vegetation had given way and I fell in and saw all this, but it was only an hour or two before I got kidnapped. I believe that should help me with money."
Cara's parents nodded their heads in agreement...
After Cara and her parents gathered a handful of those gems, Cara's Father would go to the bank and open an account for Cara, once they got the gems converted to cash.
The thing is they didn't know how valuable those gems were.
Cara decided to leave the next day, for she thought that it was a good time to leave. If Butch and Cassidy knew where she'd lived, it wouldn't take long for the other TR members to find her home.
During that day Cara had felt the start of another flare-up, but then she felt it going away.
Mewtwo replied, ["A few more of those flare-ups and either of us will be able know when they are coming and stop it from happening. It isn't a cure, but it is the next best thing."]
Cara felt unsure about it, but then she felt relieved that because for so long she had those flare-ups, and finally she would no longer have them - or actually not feel them.
The next day...
After checking out if it was OK to go, Cara and company left.
As Cara and Pikachu, Mew and Mewtwo went on their way, Mewtwo had teleported them far from Cara's home. The thing is that Mewtwo didn't realize that what he did would come to haunt them in the next few days.
Later that day...
Cara had realized what Mewtwo had done and said, "I think you should had asked me if you could teleport us."
Mewtwo answered, ["I thought you wanted to get far away from your home."]
Cara thought for a moment and said, "It is all right, I just have to get my bearings."
As Cara looked around, she then heard a thundering sound and then realized that a herd of Tauros was coming towards them. Cara couldn't do anything, so Mewtwo was about to stop them, when they heard a neighing sound and saw a some riders on a Rapidash and some Ponytas, with a Growlithe coming to get the herd.
One of the riders saw Cara and her Pokemon and gave a whistle, and the other riders and the Growlithe cut a path between them.
Cara, Pikachu, Mew and Mewtwo screamed as the herd passed them.
The rider that was on the Rapidash came back to Cara, got off and said angrily in a western drawl, "You dang fool, you should be more careful, when you are out here. Sorry about my manners, but I didn't want you to get hurt. Now that is over with, what is your name?"
Cara replied, "S... So... Sorry I had been traveling all day and I didn't notice them until it was too late. M... My name is Cara and yours is...?"
The young lady replied, "Well, I'm Laura Laramie of the Lareme Clan. We'd all like to give you a warm welcome to the Big P Ranch."
Laura looked at the Pokemon that were with Cara and asked, "What kind of Pokemon are those?"
Cara replied, "They are my pets." Cara then pointed to the Pokemon and said, "This is Pikachu, Mew, and Mewtwo."
Laura looked at the Pokemon and then pointed to Mewtwo and said, "Isn't he a bit unusual to be a pet?"
Cara replied, "Well I got this Pikachu when I started to on my own personal Pokemon journey, which was about two months ago, and these two started following me just a couple days ago. They can leave me anytime they want, but I have a feeling that they will be with me for a long time."
Laura then asked, "Why don't you come on and stay with us for a few days."
Cara nodded, and then she felt something nudging her on her shoulder. Cara turned her head and saw the Rapidash nudging her.
Laura saw what her Rapidash was doing and said, "You must have a way with Pokemon. For he will never get close to anybody except me or the other handlers."
Cara chuckled a bit and said, "That I do."
As Laura was showing Cara around, she knew what was going to happen and asked, "Laura are you going to be in the Pokemon race tomorrow?"
Laura replied, "Sure, I am going to ride my Rapidash in." Then suddenly Laura groaned and held her stomach.
Cara looked at Laura and shouted for help.
After Laura was examined, the doctor told everyone that Laura must have eaten or drunk something that caused her to get food poisoning.
Mustering all her strength Laura then said, "I bet that Dario had something to do with this."
Cara looked at Laura and asked, "Is this something that Dario would do?"
Laura nodded and said, "Although proving it would be another matter." And then collapsed.
Cara saw the look in Laura's eyes and said, "I will race for you. You saw how the Rapidash took to me."
Laura asks, "Can you ride a Rapidash?"
Cara nodded...
Mewtwo gave a look at Cara and she said, ["Well I have ridden other Pokemon before, but they weren't anything like a Ponyta or a Rapidash. Besides I am reading their minds in order to better understand how to ride a Rapidash. Besides I use it to find out how to drive a car. Besides I think it would be easier for me to talk to you telepathically, then it is for you to talk to me."]
Mewtwo hadn't got to the point where he could talk telepathically to a single person, so that if he tried to talk to Cara the others would hear him.
As Cara was being led to the stables, Laura was coming with her. Laura had some help with a couple of hired hands in getting her there.
A handler got the Rapidash and when he got to Cara, he nuzzled up to her again.
When Cara got on the Rapidash, it felt natural for her. Cara lightly kicked the Rapidash and he started to walk. After several minutes Cara went through the paces with Rapidash and was quite pleased with her.
Laura then said weakly, "If you didn't know how to ride a Rapidash, I would say that you are a natural born rider."
Cara blushed at that comment and continued on practicing until Cara felt comfortable on the Rapidash.
When Cara got to her room, which was a fair distance from any other place, Mewtwo stretched his arm and said, ["I will be glad when we get out of here. I don't know how long I will be able to not talk to anyone."]
Cara laughed a bit at Mewtwo and said, "You know the reason why you are not to communicate to me, is because the less people about you the better. Besides if TR is here, we both would be in trouble."
Mewtwo sighed and nodded his head.
The next day...
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen," the announcer, said as the crowds began to fill up the stadium at the start of the course, "The Annual Pokemon Challenge Race will be underway in thirty minutes. Each competitor must follow a grueling and dangerous course as well as against each other to win the race. For all you Pokemon racing fans, there is no other challenging competition more exciting than this one!"
The crowds soon packed the stadium to full capacity as the participants of the race began positioning themselves at the starting line. Near the head of the group, Dario was perched on his Dodrio. Dario's eyes widened as he watched Cara mount the fiery steed as the announcer started speaking over the loudspeakers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a surprise announcement. The local favorite, Laura Laramie of the Big P Ranch will NOT be in this year's competition! Due to the unfortunate incident that occurred last night to her, a fellow trainer had generously loaned her skills to her for the race! The Rider's name is Cara! Let's all give them a hand!"
Cara was nervous, because the race usually brought in large crowd and it was televised in the local area. So if any TR members were around or watching, Cara might just have been seen.
The crowd cheered Cara as she entered the course.
Dario was furious as he saw Cara coming in and thought, <"I wonder how good you are after I am through with you.">
Cara thought ahead of time and had asked any and all the Pokemon in the area to help her to remove any obstacles that Dario might have in store for her or the other riders, and a lot of Pokemon had decided to help Cara, because they knew what Dario had done in the past to try to win the race.
As the race was about to begin, Cara had just one thing on her mind. To win the race. For what Cara learned from the others is that Dario cheated at the races, but luckily so far he hadn't won a race yet.
Back at the starting line, the head judge stood up with a starting gun as the lights in front began changing colors.
"On your marks..."
The red lights switched off and the amber light switched on.
"Get set..."
The amber lights switched off as the judge held up the gun and pulled the trigger. The green lights then lit up.
"GO!"
BANG!
The race was on!
Dario immediately pulled forward from the group and took an early lead with his Dodrio, leaving a trail of dust behind him.
For the rest of the race it went smoothly. Although some of the other riders fell off their mounts. Cara knew that this race was going to be a fair race.
The Pokemon Cara had asked were helping her and the other riders. Some Sandshrews had filled in the holes that Dario's men had dug up. Others removed other obstacles that were in the way. Still another had scared a guy with a rifle with a tranquilizer dart.
All was fine until Cara and Dario were in the last lap of the race. That's when Dario made his Dodrio peck the Rapidash causing the Rapidash to falter a bit.
Cara was trying everything to win the race. That's when a thought came to her. If she could combine two different aspect of her Pokemon gift, why couldn't she combine it with a Pokemon?
Cara had got her legs closer to the Rapidash, calmed him down, combined her Rapidash power with the Rapidash, and took off.
Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Mew were worried when they saw the Rapidash glow.
As Dario was closing in to the finishing line, Cara sped past him and won the race.
The announcer said, "Congratulations Cara, you and this Rapidash are this year's Pokemon Challenge winners!"
Cara smiled and blushed as she pulled was put into the spotlight and said, "I couldn't have done it without this Rapidash."
Laura came up and then said, "This here's Cara, and I'm pleased to proclaim her an honorary member of the Laramie Clan!"
Dario was furious at Cara and shouted at her, "YOU SOMEHOW CHEATED!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DID, BUT I KNOW THAT YOU HAD CHEATED!!"
Then a voice from behind said, "Dario, What am I suppose do with this."
Everyone turned around and saw a young man holding a small bottle in his hands.
The crowd looked at the small bottle and saw it that was a mild poison. Everyone then looked at Dario.
Dario said as he was sweating small sweat drops, "I... I... I d. do. Don't know this person."
Then a few other people came up and one of them said, "Dario, you are cursed. Not only have you not won a race since you started, you have cursed us as well."
Another of Dario's hired hands said, "I was to make sure that most of the riders don't make it to the finish line... only to be stopped by Pokemon!"
The others had similar complaints and after listening for a while Laura then said, "As long as you live - you are disbarred from Pokemon Challenge Race. I never want to see your face again here on this ranch - if you do I will charge you with trespassing."
Dario left with a huff...
Cara looked at Dario leaving and said, "There goes one sore loser."
Laura replied, "Yes that is true, but I guess that sooner or later he would have been caught. I am glad that it happened now instead of later."
Cara chuckled a bit, knowing that Mewtwo had helped in a way.
Mewtwo told Cara that she could laugh, because he had dampened her Pokemon gift so much that she wouldn't lose control.
The next day...
As Cara was going to help Laura, she was leaving her room with Mewtwo, and came face to face with a TR member.
Cara immediately hit him with a quick punch to the face, and with a few more punches and kicks the TR member was unconscious. Cara then took him to an unused part of the stables and hid him in there.
Cara turned to Mewtwo and said, "We should have two or three days before he is found. We better get going."
Mewtwo nodded his head...
Cara went to Laura and said, "Sorry about this, but remember that I have to be somewhere soon. I hope that you don't mind."
Laura replied, "That is OK, I hope that you have a nice Pokemon journey."
Cara nodded as she looked for Pikachu and Mew. She finally found them with the Ponytas and the Rapidash. Pikachu was doing the same thing as he did in the Pokemon Center.
After that was done, Cara and company left.

Author Notes.
Now you know whom Cara saw at the end of Chapter 2. Why did I choose Mewtwo and Mew? If you saw the movie Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mewtwo had said (or as best I remember,) I would let my clones fight on your level. Besides Mewtwo and Mew are the most powerful Pokemon around. Also why did I let Cara go to Laura Laramie of the Lareme Clan and to the Big P Ranch, is because as I was writing this chapter I saw Ash in the Annual Pokemon Challenge Race and I thought I could should put it in this chapter, and besides, Dario needed what was coming to him. Is this the last we will hear of Dario? Nope, but that is not going to be for a long time.
