It is named after The Tron Kirk, a 17th century church on the corner of Edinburgh's South Bridge and Royal Mile. Legend has it that criminals would be nailed by their ears to the doors of the Tron Kirk for minor crimes, and only released after three days. Of course many pulled away leaving their ear lobe attched to the door.
The Tron, like Nicol Edwards, has three levels each with a bar in them. It serves food and has juke boxes, pool tables and game machines. Its a great place to relax and a great place for The Showcase to continue in.
The seating is 84 in the Basement bar where we will perform, but the entire venue can fit a good few hundred, more than Nicols! We look forward to seeing you there.
