The Don Drain cup is awarded to the player with the best overall performance in the  cups listed
above but anyone who wins one of these cups becomes ineligible for the Don Drain.
Points are awrded as follows:-   (In most cases all who are included in the final ranking will score)
West & Sadler  Cups
10 points to the players finishing in the first three places, nine for 4th-6th, 8 for 7th-9th etc
Talbot Cup
10 points to the pairs finishing in the top 2 places etc
Hale Cup
7 points to the players in the first three places etc
Hunt Cup
7 points to the finalists, 6 to  the semi-finalists, 5 for 5th& 6th etc
Charity Cup
7 points to the top two pairs etc
Bray Cup
7 points to the winners, 6 to the runners up etc
Scoring is based on a top score of 10 in a multi-session cup and 7 in an essentially single-session
event and takes account of whether points go to an individual, pair or team.
The maximum possible score is currently 58 points
Splitting of Ties
The relative places of the tieing palyers in the 10-point cups will be compared, with an extra point
being given to the higher placed player in each case.   If there is still a tie the process will be
repeated with the other three cups, and  if there is still a tie, placing in the Pat King cup will decide.
