For me, kissing is the ultimate act of sensuality. It involves not only physical desire but a mental desire to seek pleasure and to receive it. There has been much written about the art of kissing. Here are some of my favorite "smooch notes":
The sunlight claps the earth
And the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What are all these kissings worth
If thou kiss not me?
-Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)-

The decision to kiss for the first time is the most crucial in any love story. It changes the relationship of two people much more strongly than even the final surrender; because this kiss already has within it that surrender.
-Emil Ludwig (1881-1948)-

Kiss of Vertigo
A rush of air, a whisper of breath
So fragrant, so warm and soft.
I close my eyes, my head tilts back
To catch your kiss aloft.

Dizzying stars engulf my eyes
My heart shags wildly, love!
Our lips are sealed, our tongues tango
In view of the moon above.

A contented purr, is it you or I?
It matters not I know.
Your lips ignite desire, love
Sweet kiss of vertigo!
