MOST OUTSTANDING ORGANIZATION
at Old Dominion University
This is the highest acclaim given to any organization at Old Dominion University. Because of the success of the "Battle of the DJ's", "Cultural Night 1998", and raising $100,000 for the Filipino American Student Cultural Center, ODU has recognized FASA as the most Outstanding Organization of 1998. FASA was recognized as a devoted group with members on the Wrestling team, Student Ambassadors, the Dance Team, Theatre, and various other organizations. Our mass email list was also mentioned as a good means of displaying our events to the members and the rest of the Universities communities.
With this acclaim, FASA has received a plaque in honor of the achievement and the University has donated $5,000 to the club treasury. Congratulations to the officers and all the members of FASA.
