| This is an anonymous chili contest. All entries must be submitted between 3:30pm-4:30pm. ______________________________________ NO CHILI ENTRIES AFTER 4:30PM ______________________________________ Judging for the showdown will begin promptly at 4:45pm and conclude at 6pm. The winner will be crowned after the ballots are counted.. Please bring your chili, ALREADY PREPARED, in a 5 quart or larger crockpot. Have your crockpot hidden in a box or bag when you arrive so voters won't recognize it as being yours when voting. We are expecting a large turnout, so if you are afraid you will run out you can bring extra in a plastic container. (If ya run out, it's yer own fault.) Chili must be prepared, in advance, from raw ingredients compiled by the contestants. In other words, no mixes, no HORMEL. (Premixed spice packs are permitted.) *****NO MIXES - NO HORMEL***** Meatless chili can be entered, as well as chili with or without beans. Rattlesnake and other exotic animal chili will also be allowed provided it's dead and in your chili when you arrive. "We ain't gonna be 'sponsible fer yer critters." However, no roadkill will be allowed. ______________________________________ NO ROADKILL ______________________________________ We will provide taster cups, spoons and ladle. We will also supply extension cords. Did I mention this will really be a contest with an award for the winner! And everyone can vote... by anonymous ballot. |
