My Favorite Technique
I like to start by meditating to calm my body and mind. While I'm meditating I pick a spot on the wall and gaze at it. Don't stare too hard because you will tense up. After you GAZE for a while you will feel your body go to sleep and you might feel some slight paralysis. Don't be afraid, this is a normal part of the trance state. When your body goes to sleep there is a movement inhibitor in you body that cuts on so when you dream you won't act it out. Sleepwalkers lack this inhibitor. After you're in the trance state try to feel yourself rising up. You should feel some vibrations or hear some buzzing. Again don't be afraid it is completely normal. Once you feel this just sit up and you should be out of your body. Try to make the first projection short so you can remember it. If it doesn't work the first time, don't give up. I'm still trying to control when and how it happens and I've been at it for a year. Good luck. |
