Jas N in the Bold New City

The pictures page

I went to Jackson, having fun and hunting for a new job. But I took my digi-cam with me and I took a couple pictures as I went.

The first batch are from Monday and Tuesday when I was driving from Atlanta to Jxn. Here are some boats that I thought looked cool. A couple more pictures of sunsets. I'm not sure what I was taking a picture of here. And...even more pictures of sunsets. (Actually from the same one, just in a diff place.) And finally, a big ole rocket. Took that as I was driving down the interstate holding my camera out the window, not the safest way to take a picture, but it turned out nice.

Pollan and I test drove a new car, a tiny little Miada. It was mighty fine. It was kinda small, but really fast.

I went home and then to Meridian on Thursday and Friday. Yet again I took more sunsets. I just can't help it.

I drove to Hattiesburg on Monday to see my friend Jill. We saw each other at Dawn Ford's wedding and wanted to catch up. On the way there I saw some stuff that I just had to snap pictures of...go go digicam!! A sundown with some smoke and a Barney cut-out. Barney was eating a bannana, I have no idea what it meant.

This tree was full of dead balloons. It looked like somebody wanted to do a big promotion with all the balloons on the billboard, but the balloons didn't last.

And that's pretty much the trip. Well, except for the wedding and Musiquarium.
