Mission Statement

We are Children's Rights Advocates who believe that all children are entitled to live in a stable, loving, safe, healthy and nurturing environment; free of sexual, mental and physical abuse.

Our Goals

1) Design and lobby for implementation of a Uniform Children's Code.

2) Design and Implement a law that requires: Kinship Placement be primary before State Foster Care, should the child be removed from the parental/custodian home.

3) Hold absolute; laws to provide reunification w/parents; require strict time period limits, and removal of parental rights; maintain the right of the child to live in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment, maintaining a permanent relationship with extended family members, and have a permanent home.

4) Design and implement laws to include a civil rights code for all children, which shall include enforcement requirements by the states, tied to, but NOT dependent on, federal funding of children's programs.

5) Define and implement within Children's Rights Laws "the best interest of the child" and require each state to include it in their state code.

6) Design and define strict requirements, and laws to be implemented at State level to address:

a) Strict qualification requirements for:
1.) all Child Protective Services employees, including social workers,

2.) CPS and foster-care professionals.

3.) judges, attorneys, and family court personnel.
and/or any other agency or individual having purpose or ability, to interfere, or apply and enforce, the Children’s Rights Laws.

b) Revoking immunity clauses now in effect, and requiring accountability and punitive damages by law if full consideration is not given to items  2, 3, 4, and 5 above.
7) Design and define UNIFORM GUIDELINES for all child protective services:
a.) requiring each State to follow and enforce a detailed training program for Child Protective service employees

b.) Child Protective service employees be notified immediately of all changes to laws affecting Family Court

c.) Child Protective service employees be held responsible and accountable for implementing them.

8) Require all Attorneys and judges, presenting or presiding in Family Court, be current on the laws and cites applicable to Family Court, leaving immunity behind and being held responsible and accountable  in a Court of Law for damages stemming from their failure to follow the Code.

9) Require that ALL Federal Funding requirements be consistent with the Uniform Children's Code.

10) Require that ALL 50 States be in compliance with the Uniform Children's Code, without changes, within 6 months of enactment.
