Some eight years after first visiting Kiev, I am now setting up a British-based charity to help homeless and hurting children in Ukraine. Working primarily in partnership with Children's Hope Charitable Fund ( a ministry of Praise and Worship Church in Kiev, Ukraine), we currently [rpvode ongoing sponsorship for a home for street children in the suburb of Brovariy, and are seeking to raise £30,000 to purchase a permanent home for up to 40 children.
This website costs us nothing. I draw no salary from the charity, and our only 'office' is the spare bedroom of my former council house in Leeds. All the running costs (including air fares for my visits to Kiev) are met out of my earnings from secular employment. Every penny donated will go directly to helping those who truly need it.
