A friend of mine used to say to me, "The world is always ready to step aside and let someone go by who knows where they are going.� As a Christian it is very important that you know where you are going.
If you do not have a direction in life and you do not know where you are heading then you can easily get bogged down in things that will rob you of your time, your energy and the real blessings that God has for you.
Now you may think that your goal is heaven but even though you are going there that is not your main destination.
Knowing where you are going will help you to make the right decisions day by day as you live your life. When you face a decision whether little or big the direction you are heading will make it clear what is right and what is wrong for you
A committment to going the right direction will give you the strength to endure things when other may give up. Your ability to "hang in there" is determined by your committment to a goal that is always the same.. |
