| This is a very serious statement that Christ made in His sermon on the mount in Matthew 7. He tells us that many people will take the broad way that leads to destruction and only a few people will find the narrow way that leads to life. |
| I am sure that you want to be one of those who will find the way that leads to life, but you must realize that it is a narrow way and the gate into it is small. |
| When Jesus said things like this I'm sure it made the people who were listening realize that there would be some real sacrifices that they would need to make if they wanted to find God's way to life. |
