Our purpose at Children of the Goddess, is to provide education for Pagan Religions. We accomplish this goal, by providing educational workshops each meeting, and by providing rituals which our members may attend.

At Children of the Goddess, we believe that by providing a non threatening and open minded atmosphere, people may intelligently discuss Paganism and the issues associated with it. By being able to explore oneself spiritually, and get a hands on experience in Paganism, we hope to aid in the spiritual development of Pagans that come to us.

In order to create such an atmosphere for people to learn, Children of the Goddess does not allow divination to occur during its meetings. From our experience, even though we may practice forms of divination as individuals, divination during the meetings causes a distraction to the learning aspect of our organization. We define divination as the use of ouija boards, tarot cards, pendulums, psychic powers, palmistry, telepathy, astrology, scrying, numerology, etc.
