C.O.O.L. (Children Of Our Lord) is the youth group of River of Life Community Church in Diamond Bar/Walnut, California. Our church is a Chinese church with its members emigrating from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and various other Asian countries.

The youth group was formed in 1997 with a handful of teenagers (about 7) after the previous youth ministry failed a few years back. The name of the group was thought of and adopted by those teens.
1. Because RLCC needs something for teens
2. Teens dont fit in with kids or with adults
3. RLCC teens can worship at the same church as their parents
4. For the community
5. So people can hear God in a language they are more comfortable in (English)
6. To expand RLCC ministries
7. To serve the next generation of Asian-Americans
8. To serve the Chinese church
9. Because we dont give into past failures
1. Understand what it means to be Children of God (Christian Identity/Discipleship)
2. Telling people how to be a child Of God (Mission/Evangelism)
3. Know what it means to be part of Our Lord (Fellowship)
4. Having Jesus as the Lord of our lives (Christian Disciplines/Ministry)
We are:
1. Servants
2. Open to new things and people
3. Caring and unselfish
4. Good worshippers of God (God the Father, Jesus the Son & the Holy Spirit)
5. Patient
6. Fun and cool (not suck; excited about God!)
7. Challenged spiritually (serious about God)
8. Safe place to socialize
