Yonkers, New York, really close to the Hudson river
A man saw the thing in front of his window in the front yard of his house around 1:39 am. It was about three and a half feet tall and very strong and persistent. It had been watching him for a while. He had been watching TV and was on the couch facing away from the window. The blinds from the window began to bounce around. For like 20-something minutes, while he watched the movie, the blinds kept bouncing around. When the movie ended he went to close the window. There it was just staring at him with huge red glowing eyes. It was what had been bouncing the blinds. The only reason it didn't get in was because of the metal window safety bars installed with reinforced screws and rivets. It knocked down the plants from the window sill and some of the plants were trampled down. It tore a small hole in the screen and the bars are kinda loose and he could see that something was pushing on the bars with a lot of force.

The Stick Figure
by Will G.
I was eating some sugar cookies on the stairs. I looked up at the mirror above the fire place and saw something black move across it real fast. When I looked over at the mirror again, I saw a very skinny (almost stick figure like) thing on the floor in front of me. It was kind of blurry because I was focused on its head (which only had a tiny hole for a mouth and was guitar-pick-shaped). After I stared at it a bit, not able to move, it made this high-pitched bark noise, like you would hear from a little Yorkshire terrier. I jumped and blinked. When I opened my eyes, it was gone.
I looked around all over for it, but only found two little Y-shaped prints on the carpet about three inches apart. I have been hearing unusual sounds lately, too (little squeaks and rings coming from random points in mid air in certain rooms).
Chupacabras Attack
by Andrea B.
My cousins, my sister and I were riding down a road. We decided to take the long way back to their house. Ten minutes into the long way, it seemed that someone was getting sick, so we decided to stop and rest. Our dog, Lucy, who was sitting down and resting, jumped up and ran into a cornfield. Wilson ran into the field to catch her. Then I heard Wilson yell, and saw him turn around. He made it to the road and pointed to the field. "Lucy! She attacked something! I think it was the creature they were talking about last night on TV! I caught a glimpse of it." The night before, we had watched a TV show about strange animals called the Chupacabras. The four of us ran into the cornfield to try and find Lucy. We found her. She was alive, but it looked like something hurt her back leg. And on her throat under her face, were two marks like a vampire bite! It looked like the animal tried to bite her, but didn't make it on time before we ran into the field.
After we got home, on the handlebars of the bike it looked like something had been chewing on it. It wasn't like dog bite marks; it looked like the animal had fangs. That next morning, we went outside to help Rae and Wilson feed the animals. Something had killed half their chickens. The chickens had the same marks on their necks Lucy did.
