Dae-Bo-Kim
Kyu-Jin Lee from Korea

We celebrate January 15th by the lunar calendar. This celebration is called Dai-Bo-Kim.

As you know, the moon becomes full in fifteen days cycles. That's the reason why we celebrate on January 15. It's the first time of the year that the moon becomes full. The main purpose of this day is to wish for health for the year. So, we eat some vegetables and make special rice and we believe that we will then be healthy that year.
