Mother: Meredith (45) owns a local coffee shop. The coffee shop sometimes has musicians perform there and Ken will sometimes perform. Sibling: Fio has a younger brother (14) who, unfortunately for her, is taller. He’s not that mean, but he tends to pick on his sister because of her height. Their house is located near the edge of the city boundary and on a hill with few other houses nearby. ~*~Music~*~ Image song: I Thought I was a Child Artist: Bonnie Raitt ~*~Crest Bearer info~*~ Crest: Beauty Color: Orange Element: Fire Symbol: Fio’s crest symbol is made up of several circles. First, it has a small circle within a circle. On the outside of the larger circle are eight short lines going out from the center. The top short line is slightly longer than the others and has another line connected to it to form an incomplete circle. That line circles around the others but doesn’t touch anything else. Friends: Allana Crest Bearer Armor: Fio wears an unusual sleeveless, open vest. The front hangs down to her waist while the back hangs down to her feet like a cloak. The vest is a red color and the open part is held together by three small, gold chains. Underneath, Fio wears a strapless top that covers only her chest. She wears a light gray pair of sweatpants and a pair of brown shoes. A black belt is wrapped around her waist. On the back of her vest is a pair of small angel wings. Crest Bearer Weapon: Fio’s weapon is an extendable pole. The handle can shrink down to 6 inches so Fio can attach it to her belt. When extended, the pole goes up to 6’6.” Second Crest Bearer Weapon: Fio’s second weapon is rather unusual as it almost looks like a large yo-yo. A long length of rope is tied around a large wheel which has retractable blades along the side shaped like flames. For carrying purposes, Fio can place it on her back. ~*~Digimon~*~ Baby: Dongurimon. He looks like an acorn with eyes but he’s the size of a softball. In-training: Gesshiruimon. Gesshiruimon’s body is spherically shaped. He has a pointed nose with a few short whiskers. He has two tall, round ears. The back of his body has a curled tail. The tail gives off small flames. Rookie: Rodemon. Rodemon is a squirrel type digimon with a flaming tail. An orange stripe runs down his back from his nose to his tail. The fur on the orange stripe is raised up slightly. He’s small enough to sit on Fio’s shoulder and head. Attack 1: Ember Slap. Rodemon slaps his enemy with his tail. Champion: Risunimon. Risunimon has now become a cross between a human and a squirrel. His hair is a light red, medium-length, and spiked. He still has a flaming tail. He wears tattered shorts and has chain bracelets around both his wrists. He’s about the same size as Fio. Attack 1: Acorn Grenade. Risunimon throws grenades at his enemy. Attack 2: Smoke Bomb. Risunimon throws a smoke bomb to decrease visibility and hide. Ultimate: Name: Momongamon. Appearance: He has become a large flying squirrel and has lost most of his human traits. His limbs are long and he has a layer of fur between them to glide. He’s large enough to carry two to three people. Above his eyes are small flames. There are over a dozen small orange marks symmetrically placed on his body. This is the only form of his that can fly. Attack 1: Bombs Away. Small flames form in his hands and he drops them. He can only use this attack when he’s in the air. Attack 2: Heat Wave. Momongamon takes a big breath and releases it, giving off large amount of heat. Mega: Name: Tobihimon Appearance: Tobihimon now looks more rabid and wild than Momongamon. Parts of his hair are long and shaggy while other parts of it look as though they were slightly burnt. The bottom parts of his legs have a small flame on them. His flame tail has now split into three parts. Attack 1: Flame Fan. He turns around and rapidly moves his tail. Fire falls off of the tail and attacks his enemies. Attack 2: Burning Claws. Tobihimon’s claws give off a large flame and he charges toward his enemy. Firewall: Name: Metal Risunimon. Appearance: He looks like an older, mature version of Risunimon. Silver metal armor covers most of his body along with a few vents placed on the armor. His flame tail is longer and not covered by armor. Surprisingly, the tail can come off as a sword. Attack 1: Scorch Saber. The tail/sword increases in power and length. Metal Risunimon can slash through most objects with this weapon. Attack 2: Wild Fire. He uses the fire from his gloves to form it into the shape of a four-legged animal. The fire animal rushes toward its target and tackles it. The animal can control its own movements and change directions. Attack 3: Blazing Grenades. Metal Risunimon, like his Champion form, throws grenades at his enemies. As an added bonus, the grenades leave a large circle of fire around the enemy after exploding. Sustained: Name: Fiokomon Appearance: Fiokomon. He/she is a cross between Fio and Risunimon. They have Risunimon’s ears, tail, whiskers, shorts, and orange marks and Fio’s body, face, vest/cloak, and weapon. Also, they have the amazing ability to leap long distances. Writing Sample: Fio lay flat on her face on the couch from what looked like exhaustion. She should have been feeling happy about the fact school was now over with and today was her first day of summer vacation, but everything seemed to be going wrong. First she fell off of the steps to her house and landed face down on the ground, she missed the bus that went by a pool where she would meet some friends, and to top it all off, her DTU from last summer was missing. Her DTU was the one thing she had that told her that her little adventure into the digital world wasn’t a dream. She tried to tell the rest of her family but none of them believed her. How could she have lost such a thing? She suspected her brother but realized between now and the last time she saw it her brother hadn’t come home yet. “It’s just one of those days,” Fio mumbled. Some time later, Fio got up off of the couch and decided to practice a little piano. Her mother had let her perform at the coffee shop and Fio had to remind herself to practice more often. “Maybe this will get my mind off of things.” She started to practice a little on the piano but when she reached middle C, nothing happened. “What?” Fio said in disbelief. “You have got to be kidding me.” She repeatedly pressed down on the middle C key and no sound was coming out. “C’mon, c’mon.” This was just one more thing to add onto the list of things that went wrong today. She opened the top of the piano to peek inside and saw something unusual. She could see a small black shadow next to a silver phone-like device within the piano. No sooner had Fio gasped at this sight; the black shadow zoomed out of the piano and ran around the house. “Wait, come back!” Fio shouted. She couldn’t tell what the shadow was exactly, but it sure was fast. After what seemed like a minute of a frantic goose-chase, the shadow darted into a small room. Fio slowly approached the room for she knew the creature couldn’t get out of there. ‘That’s father’s office. There are only a computer and a closed window in there,’ she thought. ‘You’re mine little one.’ She leapt into the room but found it to be completely silent. There was no sign of the shadowy figure anywhere. Fio stood there confused while trying to catch her breath as the front door opened. “Fio, I’m home.” It was her father Ken. He walked over and noticed her standing against the door frame to his office. Her hair looked a little frazzled. “Something wrong Fio?” “Hmm? Oh, hi father. I thought I saw some creature running around the house and I was chasing it.” “Was it a rat?” “I don’t think rats get that big.” Ken looked as though he was trying to figure out what it was. “It may have just been your imagination or something. I can’t think of anything that could be that size from around here. Now c’mon, we have some music to practice for tonight.” Fio shook her head when her father turned around toward the kitchen. She knew it wasn’t her imagination. She slowly walked back to the piano and saw the silver phone-like device still in the piano. With some difficultly, she reached down into the piano and pulled out the device. She quickly examined it and noted some other details on it. There was some orange along the sides and a strange symbol on it. The symbol reminded her of the sun almost but was unsure about what the extra incomplete circle around the outer edge was for. “Are you ready to play?” said Ken as he walked out of the kitchen with a mug in his hand. Fio quickly hid the device in her pocket and nodded to her father. ‘That shadow,’ Fio thought, ‘it looked like the shadow I saw a year ago. I think it looked like a squirrel.’ Back in Ken’s office, it was silent until the small head from the shadowy creature appeared out of the computer. It looked around and quickly vanished back into the computer. It spoke in a quiet whisper. “Hurry back Fio.”
