Why Do I Still Have These Nights
Why do I still have these nights,
These nights I fear to sleep,
Because that is the only place I still see you,

The only place I can talk to you,
Walk with you, hand-in-hand,
Make love to you,

Those torturous moments,
That make you seem as close to me as my fingertips,
Although I know you are so very far away.

----------------
I Waited For You
I waited for you,
Watching from my window,
My hand pressed against the glass,
Trying to bring you to me faster,
My walls becoming like Shallot's cursed tower,

As the Sun set, I ran outside,
Hoping that you would be waiting for me,
Unmoving,
Until, at last, I turned to stone.

-----------------
Awakened While Still Asleep
awakened while still asleep
these dreams that touch me deep
the desires I keep hidden
here nothing is forbidden
in this place no one will judge us
there is no one to forsake us
the feeling of your touch lingers on
well past after dawn

--------------
And After So Long
And after so long,
I still see you everywhere,

Out of the corner of my eye,
And every night,
Knowing you are what is missing in my arms,

But with the rising sun,
I know I have to go forward.
These Tests I Must Face
These tests I must face,
On this chaotic stage,

Everyday is a whole step forward,
And in a second you can be knocked back five,

A wondering of what keeps you going,
Like you are seeking something without knowing,

And you hope, that in the end,
For some reason it's worth it.

-----------
Touch My Soul With Yours
touch my soul with yours
as my lips brush yours
and we look into each other's eyes
and the gears of time stop
just for this moment
to let it last forever

------------------------
You Can Judge Me All You Want
you can judge me all you want
make your assumptions
with only the evidence you create

I'm no innocent
and you are far from perfect
no matter what you make yourself believe

you will never know my secrets anyway
the pains and the pleasures, past trials and battles
locked away in the book of time

besides
I have come to far
to be torn down by those like you
