Seito Techniques
6 Principle Types (Kousei):
+
Zoukyou = Enforcement; allows user to reinforce physical
strength or strengthen
an
object(s).
+
Shikai = Manipulation; allows user to control
living and inanimate objects nearby or
in
close distance.
+
Henka = Transformation;
allows user to change the properties of his/her essence (ie
into a
sword or make it really sticky) and can change the properties of objects
into
that of something else, but not physically (ie making
cards as sharp as a
scalpel).
+
Juritsu = Materilization; allows the user transfers his/her
essence into a medium
making
it stronger and more powerful. Medium can then be
materialized
through
user's concentration of essence (ie chains of metal
and essence).
+
Housha = Emission; allows user to project or
spread his/her essence and control from
a
distance.
+
Tokugi = Specification;
all other types and other "powers"
Water/Leaf
Test for User's Principle Type
-- Fill a
wine glass with water and place a leaf on the surface. Then try to concentrate
and fill glass with your essence.
-- Based
on the results, your principle type can be assessed
as:
=> Zoukyou
~ if water
begins to overflow and trickle out of glass
=> Shikai ~ if the leaf that floats on water surface
begins to move or vibrate
=> Henka ~ if chemical
make-up of water changes (ie flavor or smell)
=> Juritsu ~ if crystalline
particles are created and begin to cloud up the water
=> Housha ~ if coloration of water changes from clear to another pigmentation (ie
red)
=> Tokugi ~ if some unknown reaction occurs that is
not within the parameters of one
of the five events listed with the other principle types
Basic
Skills:
~ Kei = keeps the essence emitted within the
body's circumfrence while keeping it
constantly flowing around and inside body in a clockwise
manner.
~ Heisa =
closes all the body's shokos to prevent user's
essence from being emitted.
Very
useful and efficient when user wants to spy and/or track someone or
something.
~ Shin = concentration of essence in a certain
body part (ie eyes, fists). When
concentrated in fists, punches and strikes become stronger
and more
powerful. When concentrated in the eyes, user can see the
essence of the
person hiding it or the surrounding aura of objects enhanced
with essence.
~ Yokei =
opens all of the user's shokos (pores that emit
essence) to emit double the
usual amount of essense, causes an
overflow.
~ Ryou =
special techinique/attack of essence created when
user uses a
combination of basic Seito skills; follows descriptions of
one of the six
principle
types that user is.
Advanced
Skills:
- Inmen =
higher form of Heisa. When used, user makes his/her
essence almost
disappear from eyesight but allows it to still be usuable by not closing the
shokos completely.
- Zouen = used
to enhance objects to make them stronger and more powerful,
especially
for users who combine weapons with their essence to perform
attacks.
- Issai = a
difficult skill to master because it requires that user to perform Kei, Yokei,
Heisa, Shin, and Ryou at same time,
combine them and concentrate them
into a certain body part or over entire body.
- Seki
= a more efficient attack skill
performed when Kei and Yokei are used
at
same time and are combined.
- Gankai =
being able to expand one's essence in order to "feel" anything in its
radius,
or territory. When you are in the territory of a Gankai user, s/he can detect
you no matter your proximity or distance from him/her as
well as attack,
grapple, kill, or anything else to you. A Gankai user does not need eyesight
to
detect his/her surroundings. Largest territory was 50 m in radius.
Other Terms:
- akusei = malignant essence
- ansei = resting, replenish essence
- appakusei =
compression of one's essence
- assei = force one's essence onto another; oppression
- chinsei = tranquil essence
- hensei = metamorphosis (act of transformation) of
one's essence
- ikusei = essence training/molding
- issei = essence flare; "ki shout"
- kasei = act of strengthening/reinforcing with
essence
- kanjusei = sensitivity to the prescence
of essence
- kousei = "fighting spirit"; personal
essence
- sei buki
= essence weapon
- seigen = limitor on
one's essence placed by self; restriction
- seiheki = essence territory/area when user does Gankai
- teisei = stability of one's essence
