The Psychotherapy Clinic

  • Offers individual psychotherapy and counselling with experienced child psychotherapists for a wide range of emotional and behavioural problems
  • Promotes a psychodynamic approach, which emphasises the whole child and parent relationship, not just ‘managing’ behaviour
  • Takes into account children’s early developmental experiences, and the impact of this on their capacity to cope as they grow up
  • Supports families. Parents are helped to develop their own skills and competence in understanding their children’s behaviour.
