We'll be releasing a Compilation 7" early 2008 on "DEVIANT records", containing the following bands: Reproach, Newgate Potential, Shredder, Tod Pole, Furious, Ravaged, Damaged Goods and Sunpower. All bands will deliver an exclusive song.

New shirts are available with a new design(even girlies).

In november we're hitting the studio to record several new songs for our upcoming EP or LP. Release early 2008.

No famous producer!

A few girls showed up to entertain the band.

Most of the guitars are recorded.

Some of us and the legendary Christophe THL closed a local bar in Asse. We know everything about Schuuutels, Marokains and Chinoezen, but you probably don't know what that means.

so what�s new :

After our summer break we start playing again. The first show is this Friday in gerd�s hometown merchtem. Expect a few new songs!!!

We appeared on a split CD which is released on �Time-up records� from Indonesia.

�Uniao Positiva� (Brazil) will release the �total control EP� as a split 7� with the Brazilian band �Abravanel�.

Our version of �My God Rides A Skateboard� will appear on a tribute-7� which will be released early 2006.

We�re also working on new songs which will be probably be released on vinyl (like always) in April.

The new EP will come out on Gerd�s new label (seven-inch records) and will be distributed by several labels. It will contain 7 new songs and 1 cover from RIPCORD (Furder).
The release is planed in December on Davy�s birthday party in Dendermonde. We will play a Minor Threat set that evening. Other bands playing are Die My Demon, SL-27, Officer Jones, and many more tbc.

Nouvel ep de ce groupe old school belge. Nouvel ep sorti sur le tr�s bon label li�geois SHO Rec. Bon donc deuxi�me ep pour SUNPOWERet �a latte. J'adore...je dirais m�me que SUNPOWER est LE meilleur groupe old school belge. Et puis ce que j'aime chez eux, c'est leur style. Super proche des vieux groupes des ann�es 80, et donc non moins proches de MINOR THREAT...fabuleux. J'en veux un peu plus � chaque fois. Les shows live du groupe sont un pur instant de bonheur expressif et �nergique. Huit tubes de musique rapide pour vous mesdames et messieurs. Une plaque IMPARABLE !! Dommage que je n'ai pu participer � la sortie de cet ep...peut-�tre la prochaine fois! Y'a quand m�me un h�k pour moi...j'aime pas la pochette h�las.

SUNPOWER : Total Control EP
This record is so 1984, that they even sing in the title song �It�s 1984� - while in fact this record was recorded 19 years later. Fast, straightforward, simple but powerful hardcore like it was played by tons of European bands in the first half of the 1980s. Sometimes I hear some small Seein Red influences (that can also be due to the accent of the singer of this Belgian band), but that�s the only contemporary influence I can find in this record. Lyrics are political (Wartrade, Total Control), personal (Growing Up, Loneliness � a suicide song, now how 1980s is that!) and scene-related (They�ve lost their souls). I grew up with this kind of music, so you can guess I like this 7�.

"That is not the best name, I know... sounds like hippy cult stuff but these belgian kids play some really tight fast hardcore. Definitely rooted in early 80's US hardcore/punk, these 8 songs are done very well utilizing their sheer punk momentum to create quick and short memorable hardcore songs. SUNPOWER 'Back to basics'
I'm more & more in contact with bands hailing from the suburbs of Brussels and Sunpower is one of them. First thing I noticed about this demo was the short runningtime : 7'50" for 7 songs !! Also the title of the demo gives you a good idea of the style this band plays. From first note to the last one, Sunpower plays fast, short, straight to the point hardcore punk in the vein of the early 80's DC bands. Minor Threat comes to mind (especially in the song 'Think...'), but also Descendents. This is pure punkrock, you would actually never guess those songs have been written in 2003 cuz the 3-piece band also managed to have a sound which is quite similar to those recordings bands offered 20 years ago ! I really look forward to seeing this band live! Alain RPP

Avec un titre comme �a et vu les t-shirts de MDC ou de KILL YOUR IDOLS des mecs, on ne s�attendait pas � du new school death metal de d�g�n�r�s, non, ici, c�est du punk HxC bien old s�cool ! 7 titres en 8mn, que demande le peuple ?! Lyrics contre le mensonge, les gens possessifs et sur le vegan life style et le pit (pas le clebs hein !). Juste pour le plaisir, voici un passage de leur titre �Oc-crew� : �We can�t tolerate, your sexual frustration, just feel free to masturbate, and if you can�t find a place to do your little thing, we will search allover space�!

SUNPOWER 'Total Control'
Thanx For Nothing Zine: Ces belges jouent un punk hardcore politis� rappelant le d�but des ann�es 80 (Minor threat, Youth Brigade�). Ca joue � fond la caisse, ralentissant rarement : pas vraiment de mosh parts ici que de la vitesse grisante et de l��nergie qui reste au maximum tout au long de ce vinyl. Les textes sont une mixture d��criture personelle assez d�sesp�r�e( � loneliness �) et de politique : l��change de s�curit� contre la libert� (� total control �), les guerres �conomiques (� wartrade �). Certaines rhythmiques sont tr�s bien trouv�es et change de l�habituel rentre dedans de ce style. Tout est carr� et en place� Rien � redire. En tout cas moi j�ai h�te de les voir en live ! After a well deserverd winterstop we're back in business and ready to rock.
We just released the 'Total Control EP' and are allready writing new songs.

A few amazing shows are comming up with bands as Poison Idea(us), D.R.I.(us), Pointing Finger(por) and Colera(bra).

Those who don't have the "Back to Basics EP" will have to hurry. We're selling the last 50 ones right NOW! We never thought it would be sold out this fast. You can still buy it at our shows.

We recorded 8 new songs at D� Studio in Asse with the productional guidance of Dirk Miers. Most songs will appear on the soon to be released 2nd 7� named �TOTAL CONTROL�. The EP will be released on STILL HOLDING ON records and will probably be co-released with some other labels. The release date is set for late 2003 or early 2004.

Special show @ JH Fluks on 12 December 2003: We will be playing lot�s of cover tunes that day so don�t miss this one!!!!!
