A SEIFUKU?

"FUKU" literally means clothing. The added "sei" means school. In Japan, most children wear uniforms, and a SEIFUKU is just that: a school uniform.
For girls, usually the skirt length is the knee level or longer. There are the rebellious few though, that like to take advantage and hike their skirts up.
There are many types of Seifukus, and this is to determine what school one goes to. There are summer uniforms and winter uniforms, gym uniforms and sports uniforms. There are even camping uniforms and school trip uniforms.
In most schools, uniforms are REQUIRED. No alterations, and no additions allowed. Boys also wear uniforms, a pair of pants and a blazer/shirt depending on the time of the year.
