i think its great what your doing! i only wis i had known about your sight sooner. i would have loved to haved adopted the little yorkie named millie. i adopted a rott. whom i loved very much when he was 3 from a shelter and he was the best dog i ever had he died a year ago and i amjust now readyfor a new dog.inow live in an apartment so i need a little dog. if you get one soon and can e-mail me that would be great! my address is [email protected] thank you for such an inspiring site.

As a pre-vet med student, and full time volunteer at the animal shelter, I am also a true lover of animals. The part about the Indian saying is truely inspirational, and somewhat depressing knowing how many people treat animals wrongly. I will use that sa ing over and over as support to my cause. This is a great site, but was wondering if someone can help me with my dilemma? I have a dog that has just been diagnosed with oral throat cancer. The veterinarian said that my dog would have to be put to sleep because this type of cancer is very aggres ive. i'm having a hard time with this. I have to come up with some money soon to pay for my dog's vet visit, but if I do put my dog to sleep, I can't afford it. I want to relieve the pain, but finances are holding ,e back, along with losing the best fr end of my life. Can anyone help me?

I've been placing animals in 'forever' homes most of my life. Now I mostly work with the giant breed dogs. What I've learned from this rewarding work is that the animals are not at fault, the human is. Interesting that humane has nothing to do with hum n. Keep the faith, if we band together and keep working at it ... maybe ... one day

I hope the right person reads this and responds. My husband and I are looking into starting an animal shelter for animals that no one else will take. We feel there is a great need for this. I tried visiting you a little earlier, and your howling wolf upset my dogs, so I started searching for a way to turn my speakers off before I signed the book. Then it crashed my computer so bad I had to unplug it to get out. This is a neat touch, but coul you maybe have it just howl once or twice, and then stop? :) Just thought you should know.
