[updated 4/6/04]

This website was a little project of mine started back in '96 during my third year of college (my first serious year of it, at anyrate). It's changed much over the past six years (seven in fall 2003), but it's still a little pet project for me (that much has remained the same). It's my annually updated presence on the net, it would seem.

This go round I find myself getting back to a lot of things:

  • Back to creative endeavors.
    • Drawing/Sketching.
    • Writing.
    • Role-playing
    • Music.
      • Making music.
      • Critical listening.
  • Reading.
    • For personal pleasure.
    • For personal edification.
      • Spiritually.
      • Financially.
      • Educationally.
  • Culture.
    • Learning about my family heritage.
    • Learning about my various sub-cultures.

In many ways, it's getting to know myself again. I've noticed there's a lot of things I love that I've stopped doing over the years as I've "grown up." The daily routine of living, the "Rat Race," as it were, was making me forget a lot of what made me unique. I've little desire to become just another casualty in American mono-culture...what makes me me?

The business of life stopped some. Laziness others. Fear of rejection and failure claimed more than they ought. Lack of focus affected them all.

No more. I'm worth getting to know.

It's been interesting thus far for me. I wonder what next year's update will be like...
