I created BROKEN~~ mainly because I wanted to make a webcomic and it also has to relate-SOMEWHAT-to me. I guess it's a release too. Plus I want a reason to draw.
What's the story behind BROKEN~~?
Well, as a young the main charachter got involved with someone and he..lust LEFT her. She's now 16 (how young was she!?) and.. despises guys with a PASSION. But there's a new guy that get's her going.. It's just a battle with her hate and a strange feeling. I also had a hard time with this myself.
What's the main theme of BROKEN~~?
Mostly DRAMA i'll say--romance too. I wanted to make it so many young girls could relate to it and if a guy is to read it..maybe he'll get a sense of what's going through a girls mind when he does something. I personally like a manga that I can relate to.
Did anything influnce you for BROKEN~~?
Well.. Tomoko Taniguchi did (you'll see on the 3rd page) and.. most defintly Svetlana Chmakova! If it wasnt for me looking for the fall issue ofTAKUHAI from Tokyopop and seeing a excerpt from her manga DRAMACON.. I don't think this webcomic would even be in the making. She made me want to go on-to want something more then just a Deviantart and a Sheezyart. She's my rolemodel.
How long do you think BROKEN~~ will last?
As long as I want it to! No no~really. It depends on the amount of fandom (?) and feedback. I don't want to do something and think i'm doing it for nothing. But right now i'm seeing 50+ pages. It's all in my head.. all in my head...
What about the updates for BROKEN~~?
As far as the webcomic itself I plan on updating once every friday. As for the website itself i'm going to update as time appears. I'm a busy college student. Trying to do this and all that homework will be...wel.. hard. But I know I can do it. If you see a HIATUS every-now-n-then~which you probably wont-don't fret. XP
What's to be expected in BROKEN~~?
As far as the layout and design.. it's how I normally draw. Drawn by hand, inked by hand, scanned, fixed a bit, text added on and POOF! Uploaded here. As far as toning goes.. i'm going to see if I can get a freind of mine to do that for me. I know she can but we'll see. But the cover page and possibly the first page will be coloured-maybe CG; maybe with COPiC/Neopiko markers. It really just depends on time and wha i'm in the mood for. If it can't be toned.. then i'll do my best to make it come alive! Haha~
