Chi-Jen Lin transfered to Eastern Michigan University in 2001, majoring in Language and International Trade, Japanese and Computer Information System. Prior to transfering to EMU, she was an English teacher(1999-2001) at Joy Children's Language School and SzuDer Elementary School and received her Associate Degree from National Taichung Institute Technology in Taiwan in 1999.

She was awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement, named to the Dean's List in the College of Arts and Sciences at EMU in 2001-2002. She also receives the EMU's International Student Awards Scholarship and National Scholars Program Award since 2001 to present.

She was baptized on Feb 14, 1996 and became a Christian. She leads a christian life since she was 16. She enjoys her christian life and likes to read the Bible. In 1999, her family were all baptized. She joined The Church in Ann Arbor in 2001. Besides, she also likes to listen to the music, sing hymns, swim, and mountain climbing.
I was born on October 23, 1979, at Wu-feng, Taichung, Taiwan. My father is a manager who works in Mainland China. My mother is an accountant. Due to my father's occupation, we cherish and enjoy the time that we spend together. I have a younger brother, Andy and sister Lily.
